The staff were very friendly and check in/out was professional and speedy. The room was lovely and very clean
There was nothing to dislike, no complaints at all

Want to stay in a pub that really does feel like a pub and not a restaurant with rooms? This is the one for you!
The room was big and had, with thoughtful attention to detail and a comfortable bed. The staff were fantastic, even when I arrived late due to a delayed flight.
Breakfast was full-English and was excellent.
This is a pub rather than a hotel. I liked everything, but it might not suit everyone. No lift - of course, because it’s an old building, but there were a lot of stairs to climb with a heavy bag.

Our room looks like it had been recently refurbished and it had everything and more that we needed. A warm welcome from one the bar staff who showed us to our room and told us a little bit about the history of the Inn and its original tiled walls. The room included a lovely a tray of teas and biscuits and was beautifully made up. It was just a short walk into Stourbridge.

It was easy to find and parking was available outside. Rooms were newly decorated, clean and had all the things you need in it. Shower was hot and powerful and the room was lovely and warm. We booked breakfast and that was delicious, well worth the money and had a great chat with the landlord and landlady after. What a lovely couple. We felt very welcome.
For rooms over a pub it was very quiet in the bars. However, my room was to the front over looking the main road which was a busy road with a lot of traffic noise. I live in the country so not used to so much noise but it wouldn’t put me off staying again. Beautiful pub.

My son and I travelled to Stourbridge for a family funeral. We 'accidentally' fell upon the Seven Stars on the internet and were completely delighted that we did. From the moment we arrived we were met by a charmingly friendly staff who were beyond helpful in making the stay as comfortable and as easy as possible. This is a fantastic old pub, 1907 I believe and is fitted with most of its period fittings which make the stay extra special. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgable and easy to get along with. I would recommend the 'Stars' to anyone without thinking twice about it. The Stars has one of the most comprehensive selection of beers and cider that I've seen with loads of guest ales for the discerning drinker to tackle.
I leave until last a word on the breakfasts. Look out! Is all I can say. I have never in my lifetime been confronted with such a huge selection of the most delicious ingredients one could wish for. All beautifully cooked by a darling of a lady who again was so pleasant and helpful. Seriously, be hungry for this breakfast - Red Rum couldn't have jumped across this - massive! Well done, The Seven Stars, keep it up. We WILL be back. John and Robin O'Donnell.
The only thing that could have made our stay better was if we had been able to stay even longer. A gem of place. Please don't change, what you have here is brilliant.

An excellent pub with rooms. Breakfast amazing quality and very good value!

Historic beautifully kept pub with very clean well appointed rooms
Shame it’s on a busy road. Blackout curtains would have been nice and the bright green safety night light whilst essential for safety reasons was annoying as it did reflect into the room at night time.

Impeccably clean rooms with everything you need. staff was very friendly and helpful.

Friendly welcome from staff. Easy check in. Large sized room, comfy bed. Large bathroom with shower. Complimentary water and biscuits to go with tea, coffee and chocolate drinks. Plenty of tables for a pub meal. And good choices of the Black Country Ales.
No breakfast included in room rate. Kitchen fans outside our room were running during the night, but eventually went quiet.
