There were so many activities to do.
The stairs are in the valley because my son is only two years old.

Price was right, space was enough, it was clean, and all around comfortable.
Hornets nest on balcony, sent email just to advise, they came right away left me a note about bees...bees don't bother me like hornets, just about everything was closed, so it was more or less a bust.

Views were great
The hot tub was extremely dirty. Brown bubbles when we ran the jet. Counter tops were not wiped down. Had old for and dirt still there.

size of the unit, storage space in the unit a big plus, & proximity to Skyline Dr.
Our unit in Eagle Trace @ Killy Court came with a full kitchen. There was no pitcher, no measuring cup, no colander, no pizza pan in our unit's kitchen. Pretty standard in most in-unit kitchens.

The place had a lot of different things to do.
Everything costs extra to do.

I asked for an updated room. The desk associate spoke very little English and said yes updated room. The room was not updated, we had food crumbs on the fold out sofa and no blankets for the pull outs.

The scenery was awesome.
The accomadations are outdated. TV in bedroom was really small and did not get all channels.

setting
dirty, needs urgent upgrades. window treatments and carpet look from the 1970s. hvac filters smell like humidity.

It was fun to sit on the back deck and feed deer, skunks, ground hogs and possums. The jetted tub was a nice addition. The beds were comfortable. It was nice that it had a propane grill.
The couches in the living room smelled like wet dogs. The decor/furniture was very dated - 80's 90's. Three of us got splinters from the rickety old wooden deck. Many of the things to do on the resort were completely closed on Wednesday and Thursday which was super frustrating and would have been good to know in advance. The website did not indicate such. Food at the restaurant right by the ski slopes was terrible.

The amenities/attractions were great. The views were amazing! The unit was good, it was ample size for us.
Although the unit was good for us, I wish it had been updated/renovated. The beds and couches were extremely uncomfortable. They have definitely had their days and need to be thrown out. I also wish some of the attractions were free or cheaper. The waterpark was way too crowded, so my husband and I sat outside to wait for the kids. It was a waste of money.

Beautiful scenery, food was delicious, was very quiet which we loved, office sent someone out right away to help us start the fireplace
The beds could have been more comfy, the hold times when calling front desk

The location was good and everything was accessible.
I was led to believe there were hot tubs in the room and they were not.

The scenery was nice.
I didn’t like how staff was inconsiderate to any problem whatsoever and dissatisfied that I was basically ripped off from 500 dollars.

For a family of 3, the one bedroom in Eagle Nest on the hillside, is the right size. It was nice to have a fridge, toaster, and hot plate-burner. We enjoyed the waterpark, the restaurant, and the proximity to Shenandoah.
The unit didn’t “feel” clean unfortunately - the carpet in the unit had dark dirty stains on the rug near the balcony door in the living room. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet. The 2 balconies looked tired and the outdoor plastic furniture wasn’t in the best condition

I’m sorry for myself and my family for this unorganised holiday, although it is small, the place is beautiful, but the place where the house is located very deserted and dangerous. The house looks elegant, but we found many insects in it and smell of cigarettes and the bed and carpet are not clean at all We asked for help from housekeeping, but they refused to come also they said breakfast included I find a small table inside building close to elevator and they charged you $50 without your permission another $50 as deposit . all these complicated matters, we decided to leave the place prematurely I lost my breathing inside the house so no way to get back to this place at all
Too many chargers no stop at all I come to vacation to be relaxed but we find them punching us to buy a Gold membership with $31.000 as mortgage

Many activities for all ages. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and clean.
Depending on what unit you stay in, there are quite a bit of steps.
