Paul's Cottage was the perfect place to unwind. The cottage is delightfully appointed. The location is idyllic -- perfect Maine summer house -- and Tenants Harbor is a serene village. I hope to return to Paul's Cottage soon for some more blissful rest. Thank you!

The property was clean . However, had I known there was no stove , I would never have booked thi place. I love to cook but missed out cooking my lobster Dinners, making my lobster stew or having steamers. I had to purchase an electric grill to cook fish. There was no room to hang any clothes and I dislike living out of a suitcase for a week. A charming place rouse for a day or two but not a week.i will not use for my next visit since I have been visiting the area for 40 years

The booking through Evolve was very easy, then we received enough emails with the details. Before arriving I contacted Monica who answered right after with the necessary details about where to arrive and to park the car. We didn't meet her during the stay.Paul's cottage is a little house in the back of a nice property, super peaceful, quiet and absolutely lovely decorated. As we had red previous reviews we knew we'll have a small oven which was quite enough: there is a charming and super well furnished general store close by where we could get everything necessary for our lunchs (breakfasts actually). We also tried the Schoolhouse bakery close by which has very good pastries, breads and scones. We had enough towels for our stay and they smelt very good. The house was super neat! It's a very convenient place to stay: we had visited the whole region from there and where very relieved to be back to Paul's Cottage after the crowd or after driving a lot sneaking around the coast. We plan to be back!

We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details. The home had a three night minimum. The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. Check in for the cottage was 4:00. We had a 4 1/2 hour drive and knew we would be coming in late. However, we did not hear from our host on how to enter the cottage. It wasn't until I made a few attempts to reach her and after 6:00 that we were given the instructions.
The Cottage was clean with limited items. But, more then what you would get in a campsite. There is no stove or oven. You have a toaster oven and a portable burner to work with.We chose our meals with the gas grill in mind.
When we went to use the grill there was no propane. I messaged Monica for a back up. It took her 45 minutes to respond and she wasn't sure if there was a back up.
Thankfully the general store was still open and I could purchase a propane tank. Hoping to boil some lobster one evening. But no lobster pot available. There was major plumbing issue. The shower that was a bit challenging to use. Had no option to store personal items and did not drain.Plan on standing in your dirty water.
We also had issues with the toilet and became hesitant to put anything in it.We attempted to use the plunger. But, it was broken and useless. I think with some easy updates including a new mattress, some fresh linens. The Cottage would be great!

Loved this cottage and the location. We also had glorious weather for October, so also took some nice walks in the area. One simple suggestion is a better map for locating the cottage. The one we received was a bit basic and it wasn't clear that parking is at the side of the property and accessed from a different street than the address given. All in all, a bright, sunny studio space that's nicely decorated.

Comfortable efficiency apartment in a standalone building on a side street overlooking the center of picturesque village and the harbor itself. Wide porch with Adirondack chairs. Comfortable queen bed, very restful. Well-equipped kitchen has what you need and is of the galley type: you’ll mostly be using the microwave and toaster ovens to heat and reheat your meals; coffeemaker on hand, and an under-counter fridge. Hose outside for washing off beach sand. Nearby: restaurants, galleries, hiking trails, and the attractions of Port Clyde.

My wife and I stayed in the cottage for five days, and would’ve stayed for five more, if we didn’t have to be somewhere else. Tenants Harbor is a charming, seaside village, nestled among several other charming, seaside villages. From the cottage, we walked to the bakery each morning for fresh pastries and coffee. At the general store we could buy sandwiches to take on the road for lunch or a pizza for supper, etc. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying at this property again.

The cottage is tucked away in a safe beautiful neighborhood. Walking distance to water and dining. Found so many wonderful local things to do. Would return and recommend. Quiet & comfortable.

This is a lovely little cabin. Well equipped with kitchenette. Beautiful full grill on front porch makes up for no stove. Plenty of linens. No air conditioning however the powerful ceiling fans were sufficient.
Gps did not take us to correct address. Thank you Evolve for the directions.
One drawback for me. Bed was too squeaky and uncomfortable.

A lovely studio cabin, appointed with all the necessities. It was a great base for us to explore the beauty of the rugged Maine mid coastal area. The neighborhood was quiet and the Tenant’s Harbor General Store is a 5 minute walk to meet a variety of needs.

This was our first stay in a vacation rental and it did not disappoint. It had everything we needed and was in a quiet area. The bed was not my favorite as it was not firm at all and dipped in the middle.

Cute clean cottage. However the bathroom is less than ideal. I know some folks might characterize the facility as having a certain rustic charm. But not when, in my view, the bathtub/shower is an accident waiting to happen. The tub is a (approx) 30 inch high step in. The shower curtain is supported by a movable halo anchored (sorta) by a single ceiling and wall rod. There is absolutely nothing to hold onto...no wall, nothing. If you brush the curtain while showering, which you will do because of the narrow width of the tub, the showerhead moves...it is not fixed. The sink has separate hot and cold faucets, no mixing.
All of this is highly problematic, particularly for seniors, and I believe for younger folks as well. This was our second stay, and my expectation was that the bathroom was scheduled for renovation. We were disappointed when it wasn't. I will add that we are not the complaining types, and we go to and see a lot of places. I most often give favorable reviews and ratings to the places we visit. But I cannot in good conscious do so here. This cottage would merit a higher rating and we would stay here again, but not until the bathroom is renovated...

What a delightful cottage! The decor was perfectly light and airy. The cottage was just the right size for the two of us. It was a joy to return to the cottage after a day exploring the coast of Maine. The porch gave us the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful evening.

What a lovely cottage! It met all our needs for a long weekend of exploring the area.

We loved everything about it except the shower. Being in our 70's we found that getting in and out of the shower was difficult. There is nothing to hold onto.
Unable to connect to WiFi, indicated it was out of range.

Great spot, spacious & bright. Wonderful porch & yard. Quiet, friendly neighborhood & just steps to a handy local store & casual dining. Harbor views from the deep porch inspire reading & relaxation.
Fridge was small & had no freezer/ice capabilities.
Initial arrival in the dark made more difficult by hidden driveway, not actually on the street listed as the address. Problem ameliorated somewhat as thoughtful property manager had left on lights.

Sweet little cottage thoughtfully appointed and with just the right balance of privacy. Very clean, comfortable, and perfect for two.

My fiancé and I rented this property for our 4-day stay to VinalHaven, ME. This was the perfect cottage for two people, it was 20min from the ferry service in Rockland to get to VinalHaven. The town itself is very quiet and beautiful, there’s a general store 3min walk away, a bakery and two taverns 5min walk away. My fiancé and I spent most nights and mornings on the porch having a drink, reading or playing cards. It was perfectly tranquil and an overall wonderful stay.

My Aunt and Uncle stayed in the cottage for a family gathering. They absolutely loved it! Despite it being a very hot week in Maine and no a/c, the cottage was still cool and comfortable. They slept well and enjoyed coffee out on the front deck. They did not have a dog, but it is good to know that there is a dog friendly rental down the road from our family house for future family gatherings and need for overflow space. We will definitely rent again!

Great cottage!
We only stayed for a couple of nights due to work/time restrictions but loved every minute. To clarify (since I was confused) there is a small sized refrigerator but no freezer in the cottage. Quaint tow right near the water. Will definitely be back in the future. Do not hesitate to book!

Nice, quaint property adjacent to a main residence. Nice location. Short walk to the Happy Clam - great atmosphere and food! One drawback was no TV despite being advertised. So head to the Clam!....
