Paul's Cottage was the perfect place to unwind. The cottage is delightfully appointed. The location is idyllic -- perfect Maine summer house -- and Tenants Harbor is a serene village. I hope to return to Paul's Cottage soon for some more blissful rest. Thank you!

The property was clean . However, had I known there was no stove , I would never have booked thi place. I love to cook but missed out cooking my lobster Dinners, making my lobster stew or having steamers. I had to purchase an electric grill to cook fish. There was no room to hang any clothes and I dislike living out of a suitcase for a week. A charming place rouse for a day or two but not a week.i will not use for my next visit since I have been visiting the area for 40 years

The booking through Evolve was very easy, then we received enough emails with the details. Before arriving I contacted Monica who answered right after with the necessary details about where to arrive and to park the car. We didn't meet her during the stay.Paul's cottage is a little house in the back of a nice property, super peaceful, quiet and absolutely lovely decorated. As we had red previous reviews we knew we'll have a small oven which was quite enough: there is a charming and super well furnished general store close by where we could get everything necessary for our lunchs (breakfasts actually). We also tried the Schoolhouse bakery close by which has very good pastries, breads and scones. We had enough towels for our stay and they smelt very good. The house was super neat! It's a very convenient place to stay: we had visited the whole region from there and where very relieved to be back to Paul's Cottage after the crowd or after driving a lot sneaking around the coast. We plan to be back!

We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details. The home had a three night minimum. The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. Check in for the cottage was 4:00. We had a 4 1/2 hour drive and knew we would be coming in late. However, we did not hear from our host on how to enter the cottage. It wasn't until I made a few attempts to reach her and after 6:00 that we were given the instructions. The Cottage was clean with limited items. But, more then what you would get in a campsite. There is no stove or oven. You have a toaster oven and a portable burner to work with.We chose our meals with the gas grill in mind. When we went to use the grill there was no propane. I messaged Monica for a back up. It took her 45 minutes to respond and she wasn't sure if there was a back up. Thankfully the general store was still open and I could purchase a propane tank. Hoping to boil some lobster one evening. But no lobster pot available. There was major plumbing issue. The shower that was a bit challenging to use. Had no option to store personal items and did not drain.Plan on standing in your dirty water. We also had issues with the toilet and became hesitant to put anything in it.We attempted to use the plunger. But, it was broken and useless. I think with some easy updates including a new mattress, some fresh linens. The Cottage would be great!

Loved this cottage and the location. We also had glorious weather for October, so also took some nice walks in the area. One simple suggestion is a better map for locating the cottage. The one we received was a bit basic and it wasn't clear that parking is at the side of the property and accessed from a different street than the address given. All in all, a bright, sunny studio space that's nicely decorated.

Comfortable efficiency apartment in a standalone building on a side street overlooking the center of picturesque village and the harbor itself. Wide porch with Adirondack chairs. Comfortable queen bed, very restful. Well-equipped kitchen has what you need and is of the galley type: you’ll mostly be using the microwave and toaster ovens to heat and reheat your meals; coffeemaker on hand, and an under-counter fridge. Hose outside for washing off beach sand. Nearby: restaurants, galleries, hiking trails, and the attractions of Port Clyde.

My wife and I stayed in the cottage for five days, and would’ve stayed for five more, if we didn’t have to be somewhere else. Tenants Harbor is a charming, seaside village, nestled among several other charming, seaside villages. From the cottage, we walked to the bakery each morning for fresh pastries and coffee. At the general store we could buy sandwiches to take on the road for lunch or a pizza for supper, etc. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying at this property again.
