About this house rental
Fantastic red rock views from almost every room! This immaculate home sits on 1.3 secluded acres in the upscale neighborhood of Sun Up Ranch, in the Village of Oak Creek, close to 3 well-known signature Sedona rock formations; Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock.
It is so comfortable here you may never want to leave! You will likely find yourself captivated by what you see around you. The backyard is expansive and includes a large Medicine Wheel. In the evenings you may hear coyotes, see Javelina, Gamble Quail, and even Deer.
This home features an open, single-story floor plan, including a large great room with vaulted ceilings that opens to the dining area and kitchen, all with red rock views. A large master suite is on the opposite side of the house from the other two bedrooms and baths. A 2-car garage and laundry room are attached. The house is comfortably furnished and includes 4 TVs. The master suite is quite large and well-appointed. It includes a sitting area and a spacious bathroom with a large soaking tub and a separate shower.
The back patio is fenced and includes a sitting area, dining table, fire pit, and new 5-burner gas grill. For your good health and comfort, all beds are provided with organic sheets. All personal care products and cleaning products are also organic and eco-friendly.
The kitchen is well-outfitted. The small appliances include a large toaster oven, 4-slice toaster, blender, food processor, crockpot, waffle iron, juicers, rice cooker, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. There is a very complete set of pots and pans and utensils, as well as wine glasses, pint beer glasses, water glasses, coffee cups, dishes, new Oneida flatware, and steak knives. A 3-stage water filtration system provides clean drinking water.
What's Nearby
There are plenty of hiking, and dirt biking trails available within minutes of the property. There are also vortex sites nearby for those who want to explore nature at another level, on their own, or with a guide. Sedona Mystical Tours had its headquarters in this house for 6 years. We are grateful for the gift of the Medicine Wheel, and the fabulous energy they have left behind.
Wine tasting, Art Galleries, and nice restaurants are all available in the Village of Oak Creek, including one of the world-renowned chefs, Lisa Dahl’s restaurants, Cucina Rustica, Butterfly Burger, and Pisa Lisa. Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village in uptown Sedona is 5 miles away. The drive from this home to uptown Sedona will take your breath away and is one of the most scenic drives you’ll find anywhere! There are 3 golf courses nearby for those interested: Oak Creek Country Club 0.9 miles, the Hilton resort Ridge on Sedona Golf Course 2.0 miles, and Canyon Mesa Country Club, an executive 9-hole course, 2.1 miles.
The Village of Oak Creek, fondly referred to by locals as “The Village”, is one of Sedona’s most popular locations, nestled at the base of Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock and only 5 miles south of Uptown on Highway 179, the “Red Rock Scenic Byway.”
Set away from the crowds, The Village is a laid-back community with three golf courses, resort hotels, excellent restaurants, coffee bistros, local shops, outlet stores, and exceptional hiking to Sedona’s landmarks on the Bell Rock Pathway with your Red Rock Pass. The streets are pedestrian-friendly with roundabouts, red sidewalks along the Scenic Byway, and rugged red rock vistas at every turn.

I can't say too much about this property as the A/C was out when we arrived, and they promptly got us into a similar property. For the time we were there, I can say the house was very clean and very nice. The patio area was nice, and the access to Sedona and other areas was great. The response to our issue was immediate, and I am sure that it is fixed now, so that shouldn't be a future concern! Thank you for ensuring we still had a wonderful trip!

House was clean and well maintained. The views were stunning, but the best part was the location. Village of Oak Creek was quiet. It had minimal traffic and was close to hiking trails, historical sites and restaurants without the hassle of Sedona traffic. Sedona is close for a day trip but Oak Creek was a sweeter location.

This was an excellent property and a very positive experience with the Management Company

The house was very relaxing and the neighborhood was very quiet. Just what my husband and I were expecting when we booked this property!
We stayed in the master bedroom and slept on the king bed. I think the mattress was a Tempur-Pedic or similar type of memory foam mattress.
The kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils/tools/appliances necessary to prepare a home-cooked meal. This is important when my husband and I book rentals because we have food allergies/sensitivities and can’t always rely on restaurants to be equipped to handle our special needs.
The views of the red rocks from the backyard were definitely a plus while sipping our coffee in the mornings. We even saw a large herd of deer walk through the backyard to munch on some leaves and twigs.
Overall, the property was just what we needed to escape Phoenix for a few days. We always wish we could stay longer - the days always fly by when we are in the Sedona area. Definitely a relaxing getaway :)

This property was an amazing place to stay on our vacation to Sedona! The view from the back yard was a red rock haven! Staying in the Village of Oak Creek was a much more low key and quiet stay than that of Sedona proper, but still very close as well. It was also very close to wonderful restaurants, Clark's grocery store, which we frequented quite a bit, gas stations, etc. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway and will rent this property again when we come back to beautiful Sedona!

The house is very nice with the master bedroom separate from the other two. Great view and good location.

We had a good stay here and was a perfect spot for us to day trip. The view of course in the back it terrific, and we had several visitors that the teens enjoyed (quail chicks running over your feet out on the patio and deer in the backyard).

New building going up in surrounding area changing the vibe a tiny bit. Not as secluded and the view of the blue roof in the back yard only slightly encroached on the view compared to our previous experience. The furniture is past it best before date and not overly comfy. The TV also not up to date either. Not being a roku user rendered our TV use to virtually zero. Well equipped home and the master bed was awesome. The curtain into the master bath is still a little awkward for those seeking some privacy. Overall love the location and would come back.

Beautiful home, great location. The property had everything. Very clean. Only 2 issues, the living room couches were used and my elderly parents had a hard time getting up out of the couches, very uncomfortable. Everything else was more than perfect!!!

Amazing property with breathtaking views. Exactly as pictured and perfect for a get-away to the Sedona area without the Sedona traffic. The house was fantastic with a full kitchen and upscale linens/towels. We will definitely be back.

The property was is in an excellent location, nearby many shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. We were surprised by the new build behind the property that blocked part of the advertised view. It was difficult to relax on the living room furniture that should have been replaced years ago.

Summer Vacation
The check-in process was super easy. We didn’t arrive until after dark, so it was nice to go straight to the house and let ourselves in.
The location was perfect and had amazing views. We weren’t there much since we had a lot of activities planned, but it was nice to have a spacious home to land each night.

Spring Tuning
It was a great reset for us. We got to detune our lives and explore the peace and quiet of Verde Valley and Oak Creek Village. The morning and evening views were fabulous from the back deck. The deer visited as did a bob cat (prints in the stones gave him or her away). The only critique I have is we could not get the tv to work on anything other than the 400 chnannels of re runs that Roku offers. As Canadians we could not figure out how to sign up for our Canadian based accounts and we found the 4 remotes were challenging enough to learn. Other than that every was fabulous.

Loved the location.
Loved the location. No bathroom door made it interesting. Bed was awesome. View was awesome. Without access to current tv platforms we sat outside most of the time we were there. Would have loved to have a couple of lounge chairs. Loved the neighborhood. Close to my favorite coffee shop. Not located in the hustle and bustle of Sedona west. Love Oak Creek area. We only received emails. which was fine.

Spectacular views in a quiet and serene area. Wildlife was all around us. Stars were abundant.
Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. Close to great food and amenities as well as trails and scenery. I couldn't think of a better place to stay in the Sedona area.

Maintenance issues
The check-in process was easy but when I arrived at the property I had no electricity in the living area. It was New Year's Eve but I did contact the emergency number. I was told to look for the fuse box. I did not find one and they told me to call again on Monday when the main office opened. I did tell the emergency person that I understood that it was a holiday and he took that as my being all right with not having electricity. I called Monday morning and left a message and received no call back. I called again on Tuesday twice before I actually talked to someone. They finally sent someone out and I had electricity for the last 18 hours of my stay. They are now saying that I had electricity in the rest of the home so it should be all right. It kind of ruined our Christmas party as we couldn't use the the living area of our rental. Very poor communications with Foothills property Management. The property was beautiful but the management company was absolutely awful! I've been trying to get some kind of refund through Vrbo but they are no help either. It is an absolute shame because this property and the area is absolutely gorgeous.

Excellent Location
We addended a wedding in Sedona and this was the perfect location. The home was clean and well appointed. Views were absolutely beautiful. We will stay here again when we visit Sedona in the future. Then Medicine Wheel was very cool touch as well. The property management team was very professional and the communication was on point. Safe travels all this location will not disappoint.

Perfect quiet location with *fantastic* red rock views!
Overall great stay in the Sedona area at this house - out first to the southwest. The check in experience and proactive communications was very good. Layout worked well for our family of four - separate bedroom space but central center family and kitchen area.
Had a couple of small, mostly personal preference, items I shared with the management company and they were very receptive to their consideration.
Missing the location and view already …. 😞

The house is absolutely amazing with stunning views !!
The house is amazing with fabulous views from every room. It is equipped with all the amenities that made the stay extremely comfortable. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood and is accessible to all the points of interest within a few miles.
The only suggestion is to move the fire alarm visit is in the foyer adjacent to the common bathroom as the steam from the bathroom sets it off.
Apart from that, it is a great stay and waking up to views like that and having meals and conversations with a backdrop of a breathtaking views is totally worth it.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us, we appreciate it. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here when we visit beautiful Sedona again.

Views were stunning from back porch
Absolutely amazing! Will definitely stay here again, and refer others to this property. Suggest moving fire alarm away from front of door in secondary bathroom. Steam from showering would set alarm off. Thanks!
