If on the beach is where you want to be, this is the place you want. Mere steps to the ocean, not crowded at all. One of my top two condos since I've been making this annual trip.

We stay at Sunset Chateau every year. This is a condo on top floor with rare 2 levels. We’d rent here again.

Very nice property-lots of room

This is our second stay in this unit. We love that it has 2 floors so the family can get a little separation and privacy when we are indoors(which isn't much!). The amenities are very nice. The broken coffee pot was replaced very quickly after I called the management co. We will book this unit again if available when we are planning a vacation in Treasure Island.

One of the best units
Property was great and well maintained. They had a lot here to use, including umbrella, chairs, cooler and even pack and play. The management company was extremely communicative and kind. This unit is by far one of the nicest in the building. The private balcony off the master is the real selling point.

Poor maintenance, desperate to be cleaned
Great location on beach. Property has dust everywhere, broken fridge parts, stains, mold, dirty carpets, broken bed supports, gaps in flooring, broken vents, and dirty tub mats.
Cleaners promised but came mid-week. We refused their service.
We are requesting a refund.

Average condo
The master bedroom is the highlight of the condo....very pretty and great view. The dinning room and upstairs 2nd bedroom had great views too of the intercoastal waterway. The maintenance guy got back to us in a timely manner when our refrigerator wasn't cooling enough. Greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet and nort so busy place it could be great for you.
Issues- the screen door is all beat up and will not close...you have to slam it shut. 2nd- upstairs bathroom had hair in tub under mat when we checked in, so we had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it to our standards. 3rd- limited supplies on toiletries not to mention cheap....please get your toilet paper supply getting groceries....don't forget trash bags too considering they only give you 2 and they hold you responsible to taking your trash to outside dumpsters. 4th- The beach supplies/towels/chairs absolutely sucked & considerations for those travelers flying on plane to get there...we had to purchase a beach umbrella & 2 decent chairs. Only 2 towels for 6 people??? The condo doesn't offer any chairs or lounge chairs at the pool, so updating something as simple as beach chairs would go along ways.
If you are wanting to venture out and about definitely rent a car if you fly...only thing within walking distance is Caddys and a bar. At least 2 miles to a grocery store since the real location is Sunset Island on West Gulf Blvd.
I love the TI and St. Pete area & also Clearwater and visit at least 4 times a year...staying at this condo took 1hr and 10m to get to Clearwater with all the heavy travelers and 36 mins getting back.
I appreciate the fine detail email of checking in to this unit but I will never stay at this location. Happy Vacation home hunting! Good luck!

Aptly named as it was the best sunset views ever.
This trip was too get back to the beach and see family. The property was big enough and well maintained. Walking distance to Caddy's on the beach restaurant/ bar. The last bedroom was on the second floor with a balcony that was where best feature for us. Well equipped kitchenand large living room.

Family vacation
We booked this property months in advance, the pictures won our hearts. I called the day before to see if we could get an early check in, was told we could get in by 10am(there was not back to back) we arrived and the cleaning crew was still there. She was kind enough to let us bring in our bags before the storm rolled in. We decided to let her finish up and we would go grocery shopping. When coming back the storm was in full force, minutes after getting into our condo the power went out(thank God we weren’t in the elevator). We also walked into a leak in the back window. Thought it was mop water but then realized the leak. Contacted the emergency number and they sent towels, with power out I sure got my cardio in having to use the stairs up and down.
That was all just day 1 of our stay. The rest of the time was wonderful, the beach is amazing and my kids loved the pool! The beach was super clean each morning and shelling was super fun! We also really enjoyed the “dolphin racer!”Only other complaint would be the rather loud gentleman on the 3rd floor yelling rather inappropriate language in front of kids. And the cleaning crew showed up at 10:15 when we were promised an extra hour.
Would definitely come back here; would just insure that communication is made.

Fantastic location on Treasure Island
Location, location, location!! Absolute best thing about this rental property—you got it—location. Literally step out of your car and on to the beach. Pool right in front of the ocean. Simply beautiful surroundings and we had great weather first week of April. Accommodations were good. Great for 2 adults and 2 children. We all had enough space. Boys enjoyed the big tv in the living room. Husband worked virtually upstairs with out disturbance. Kitchens a bit small, but plenty of dining space. Plenty of bath towels and four beach towels supplied. Whole we didn’t use them, there were a few beach chairs in closet. Publix for groceries less than a mile away. I visited a wonderful spa here- Paradise spa only a mile a way. Busch gardens about 1 hour away was a great day trip. Our only hiccup was check in. Rental instructions went to junk mail causing a little stress in how to get in. We would definitely rent this unit again!!

I have been all over Treasure Island, but neve stayed on Sunset Beach. The location was perfect for us. Far enough off the beaten path to be very quiet, but close enough to everywhere we wanted to be. An elevator ride down and you are literally on the beach. The unit was a 2 story with two balconies, perfectly laid out floor plan and everything you would need to be self-sufficient in the unit. I can't wait to return here. This may be my go-to location in this area from now on, and I have stayed at MANY places in Pinellas County.

Loved the stay
The stay was great overall. There was a mishap with the after hour key placement but they quickly corrected it and it only delayed our arrival by 10 minutes or so. I would urge an additional couple beach towels be placed in the unit as there were only 2 available for a larger condo didn't seem to make sense. Also the beach chairs are pretty worn and could use replaced. Overall, the condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The pool was closed and no prior notice was given. We went for vacation and the small inconveniences didn't derail the great time we had and our relaxing stay at a very nice condo.

Nice beach weekend
We had a lovely weekend staying right on the beach. Our friends were married on the beach and it was beautiful.

Pictures don’t do it justice!
This unit is perfect! 6th floor, end unit is a dream! Didn’t realize it’s 2 floors, not that it was an issue for me, I love the layout & am enjoying my last morning coffee on the private master bedroom’s balcony right now!
Well maintained & nice fresh linens. Great area! Close to Caddy’s on the Beach & a Publix isn’t too far. Sea Dog was delicious, I highly recommend it. Here for only 3 nights for a wedding. I’d definitely book here again if I come back to this part of Florida!

Beautiful view!
This is a well kept and well appointed apt with a spectacular view on a lovely beach. It is a retro style building, with the living room windows and front door opening to the common walkway (facing out to the beach)— in this case it is an end unit so you don’t have hardly anyone walking so it feels pretty private. The upstairs balcony off the master has a fantastic view not only out to the water but because it’s at the end, you look right down the beach as well. There are dolphins out there every morning and evening.
I love this beach. Very mellow—just people staying in the neighborhood. The water is shallow enough for the little ones. The water and sand are beautiful. There is a neighborhood cleanup tractor to clean up the seaweed in the morning.
The apt is very roomy with plenty of space for a family of 4 with older kids. It has all the beach gear and kitchen stuff. The Old Florida style building is clean and well kept.
My only minor issues were that there is no info in the apt about the WiFi so I had to wait and call in the morning to get it. Never did get the upstairs cable tv working. Some minor glitches with the cleaners. There is no washer-drier
In the unit (coin op for each floor) so I’m pretty sure the bed quilts aren’t washed regularly and —given that there are no blankets underneath— everyone is probably using them, which strikes me as kinda unsanitary. The door has a combo lock on it so it would have been nice to not have to pick up/drop of keys at the realtor office especially in the off season.
But those are all minor details that are easily fixed. I loved the apt and would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful condo and location. Horrible check in
I have no complaints about the condo itself. It is a very clean and beautiful condo with plenty of room for family to stay comfortably. The only MAJOR issue was the issue with check in. I requested a late check I as I knew my family and I would not arrive until 2am. Long story short whoever filled out the information on the envelope was incorrect. The keys did not work for room listed on the envelope where all information for the condo and wifi info was, so I called the number on the envelope and was advised she would text the property manager that I would have to be patient..I called back ten .minutes later front desk says they did not get a response that I need to be patient..Excuse me but I paid for a rental for my family and I..I SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCESS IT! 2 IN THE MORNING WAITING ON THESE PEOPLE TO GIVE US ACCESS..finally Lee calls back who was 2nd on the list to contact..she was nice and figured out that the incorrect room was noted on the informational check in envelope. The keytag stated another room and Lee had to call and confirm what condo we were booked in. After calling she confirmed that we were actually booked 2 floors up from where the envelope said...she sounded a little irritated that I didnt figure that out because of the fact the key said the correct room..it was very dark outside and I was using the envelope that was given for the purpose of having all the information needed to access the condo..but it's a HUGE SAFETY issue to go from floor to floor trying to open doors and possibly be treated as an intruder. Sand Castle Reality really needs to think about the safety of their clients and give accurate information!

Beautiful and clean!
We had a wonder visit here. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We did run into a snag where the previous person didn’t leave the parking pass but they were quick to get us a new one and even drove to the unit to drop it off on Sunday. Five stars, we will definitely be back.
