About this apartment rental
*NOTE: the hot tubs and sauna are only available during the winter ******
Tucked away in the only building on a dead-end street abutting Brackett Brook, our condo is quiet and a lovely, cozy place to relax after a day of outdoor adventure. We are right next to the cross-country ski trails and walking, snowshoeing and mountain biking trails.
You can walk approximately 700' (2-3 minutes) to the Snubber Line ski lift or take the free Sugarloaf Explorer shuttle that conveniently stops (winter only) right at the corner of our parking lot every 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. The shuttle also stops at local restaurants, the grocery store, library, etc. so park your car and enjoy being chauffeured!
Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, our condo has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. (Guests have commented on how wonderful the water pressure is from the showerheads!) The master bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom. The other main floor bedroom also has a king bed. Upstairs, there are 2 twin beds and a set of twin over twin bunk beds so a total of 8 guests can sleep soundly. Down or down alternative comforters are on every bed and lightweight, summer duvet covers replace the flannel seen in the photos during the 3 “non-winter” seasons. The kitchen table expands to comfortably seat 8 and the living room has ample seating for your entire group to gather in front of the tv and/or fireplace. Each room has its own thermostat. During the summer, there is an air conditioner in the living room (not shown in the photos). The other rooms have oscillating portable fans.
There is a large, private parking lot and a locked ski shed available for your use. Kitchen appliances include a drip coffee maker, toaster, air fryer, electric griddle, George Foreman grill, blender, hand mixer, and crockpot.
Includes free wi-fi, cable tv and Roku for streaming, Alexa echo dot, Xbox/DVD player, a small selection of DVDs, desk and monitor, games, books and a couple of puzzles for the kiddos. We also have a pack ‘n play. There is even an essential oil diffuser...bring your favorite oils! Note that the grill is NOT available during ski season.
Next to the 2 tennis courts, Snowbrook Village has its own pool house with a heated pool, 3 hot tubs and a sauna. There is a game room and a reading room on the 2nd floor. There is no charge to use the pool house
Our family uses the condo throughout the year and we enjoy sharing it with others when we can’t be there. It is professionally cleaned and we pride ourselves on keeping it pristine and having everything you might need available and in excellent condition.

This property is ok for winters, but it was a horrible experience for us during summer due to heat. I specifically searched for properties with air-conditioning and was misled to believe that this was a fully air conditioned property, because there was just one standalone air conditioner in the family room, which was by the way mentioned in the fine print… lesson learned for next time to read that. Out of the three rooms, only the room next to the family room was usable as we would get some cool air from the air conditioner in the adjacent family room. Other than that, it was reasonably clean, kitchen was well stocked and sheets and towels were good quality. The property owner was available on text but pretty rude for me asking too many questions. It felt like I was being paid to live in the property rather than the other way around. I took pictures of everything when I entered and also when I left because I am worried the lady is going to blame me for something. I will not stay here again.

Some friends and I stayed at Margaret’s property before running the Sugarloaf marathon and 15k and had a wonderful time! It’s cozy, close to everything we needed and the creek nearby is delightful.

Such a wonderful condo. Check in was really easy, tons of parking. Beds were all incredibly comfortable and may have been some of the best beds at a VRBO I've ever slept in. Margaret was quick to respond and very helpful with everything. Short walk to the bottom of the Snubber lift, shuttle stop right outside the door. Incredibly convenient to everything. The kitchen was great too!

This condo was perfect for our eclipse weekend. We skied onto the lift. We enjoyed free swimming and hot tub. We took the courtesy bus to the festivities. The place was warm and inviting. The host was friendly and helpful. We will be back for skiing next year.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. The condo was the perfect size for 2 kids and 4 adults. We loved the cozy fire place and how close the condo was to everything! The nature trails right outside the front door were a hit with the kids as well. The host was very responsive and accommodating- thank you very much for letting us stay at your condo! We hope to rent from you again next year!

Six ladies enjoyed the comfort and amenities of this condo. The property was as lovely as the website indicated. The best part was the loud, soothing, rushing brook right outside our windows. We had the windows open and the sound was magical. Beds and bedding were so comfy.

We had a great stay at this home. The home felt comfortable, and cozy. Home was clean, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting in back deck and enjoying nature and sitting in front of fire place. The pool was also great. We had it to ourselves during our two day stay which was so nice. We stayed here for sugarloaf marathon. It was my first marathon and I felt anxious over this but great correspondence and clear communication around our accommodations made things much less stressful. Thank you

We had a LOVELY time; it is in a wonderful location (can ski/snowboard up and back to Sugarloaf via a lift)! If you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean, comfortable property to stay; you should reserve this property.
We stayed with our four kids (6, 8, 10, and 12) and it was a nice set-up. Adults would also enjoy the bedrooms and the pool/Rec room.
We did two days of spring skiing//snowboarding at Sugarloaf; we basically had the mountain to ourselves. It was incredible!
This is a gem of a property! We highly recommend it!

We were very happy with our stay. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The walk to the Snubber chair was very easy and a nice way to warm up the legs before a day of skiing. The cross country nordic trails were just outside the door and a fun bonus. Communication with the owners was very easy. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again!

This property is well maintained and located at the lower part of Sugarloaf Mountain. Easy access to Snubber lift and excellent amenities. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna. All clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this property for family ski vacation. It was also very quiet. There were other people in neighboring condos and it sounded like we were in a private home.

We would rent this condo again in a heartbeat for our family ski vacation. The space is more than comfortable and provided us with more than enough space. Our adult children enjoyed the bunk space upstairs very much- even though they're not young children any more! The condo was close to the mountain for easy skiing, and the pool and hot tub were a total bonus! There really is nothing we would have changed. The other people at the condo complex were extremely warm and friendly, and Sugarloaf Mountain is very special. Thank you so very much!

Amazing!
We absolutely LOVED our stay! The condo was great for our family! Our kids (9 & 7) loved the upstairs loft! My parents enjoyed the other master bedroom. I really appreciated both bedrooms having 2 king size beds! The kitchen was well stocked which was great for cooking after a long day of skiing!

The shuttle to mountain outside the door, handy ski lockers, and well sanded on icy parking area. Steps to get to upstairs protected from weather. Owner communication was excellent. Great Place to Stay
We enjoyed our second trip to this property and would highly recommend it. The Snubber lift is a short walk away and the shuttle bus stops right beside this building during ski season. Very easy to get around the entire mountain from this location and there is plenty of parking.

Perfect Sugarloaf getaway
What a perfect, cozy spot to spend the end of our holiday week. It was perfect for our family of five. Immaculately clean, by far the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever seen at a rental property. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked, location is superb, right off the Snubber lift and also conveniently located close to grocery store and Nordic center. We would love to rent from Margaret again!!

We have stayed at a lot of places on the mountain and we would put this condo near the top of our list. It’s in a convenient location, the unit was very comfortable, and the owner was very good at communicating before, during, and after our stay.

Western Maine Vacation
We had a great stay at Sugarloaf. The condo was clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything you could need. And Margaret was easy to communicate with, she was very intent on making sure we had the best possible stay. She even sent a list of things to do before the trip. The area is beautiful in the summer, the weather was perfect, and the mountains and lakes were stunning! If you like hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming in a relatively remote and quiet area (in the summer anyway, much busier in the winter I'm sure), I'd definitely recommend this condo. You can spend the day in towns with cool little downtowns like Rangely and Farmington too. We also saw a Moose with its baby walking near the side of the road one day!

Excellent exper
We can't think Margaret and her family for opening up your home to such a lovely and amazing experience in Sugarloaf Main! Every detail and every possible thing that you could think of that would help you feel at home was made available to us. We can't thank you enough. It truly was an amazing experience and would highly recommend this rental to anybody especially children with autism and disabilities!

Perfect place for a group of skiing friends
We are a group of professional ski instructors who teach together and don't get a lot of opportunity to just ski together for fun. This property was the perfect place for us to get together for a week to enjoy each others' company. Our hosts really gave us the feeling of sharing their property rather than that of staying at a commercial enterprise. This is a very comfortable, quiet space with all the amenities required for our group to thoroughly enjoy our week at Sugarloaf. We look forward to returning in the future.
