L’espai i la seva ubicació
A les indicacions de com accedir al parquing no informen de la plaça assignada. El parquing està una mica apartat del pis i ens vam trobar un avis al cotxe indicant que no hi podiem aparcar.

The nice and modern appartment witch is very near to the Guggenheim museum. An advantage is that the appartment has a garage (although in the nest street).
There is no change that you can find a free parking placen in the street.
Ainara and Inaki were really fantastic hosts they sent us helpful information not only how to get to the appartment and to the garage but also about the city.
Everything was perfect.

Bilbao is a beautiful & clean city, with fantastic & cheap public transport. The apartment was in a Brilliant location, very close to the river & a short walk to the centre of the city, and also to the “Old Town”.
3 supermarkets, a bakery, fishmonger, pharmacy, 4 bars & cafes are very close by.
My single bed was very comfortable.
A renovated large 2 bedroom apartment in an old building.
The apartment was very clean. Netflix in English.
Overall we enjoyed our stay in Bilbao.
My friend stayed in the double bed room. The bed was very uncomfortable, the base was squeaky & wobbled. We asked for it be fixed but it wasn’t.
Due to dietary requirements we cooked our evening meals. The kitchen has a dishwasher & washing machine, but very little cutlery - only 3 knives (for eating,) & few forks. Some spoons.
2 huge saucepans, only one had a lid, and the small fry pan & grill pan had lost most of their non stick coating, so they were unusable. We were there for 9 nights.
Also the communal stairs were loose and the bannister wobbly, no lift, luckily we were on the 1st floor.
Some structural problems are to be expected in a 100 + year old building, but the stairs are a safety issue.
A noisy neighbourhood at night and the bedrooms are at the front overlooking the street.

In the apartment we found almost everything we needed - even the little extras, like oil, vinegar, salt, coffee machine filters, tablets for the dishwasher. The beds were comfortable.
The street is residential, high oldfashioned apartment houses. We found it really good and lively. In the early evening everyone from very young to very old is outside - watch out for flying footballs! Three supermarkets within two hundred metres, fishmonger, butcher, fruiterer...
Two blocks away is the river, where people stroll on the promenades on both sides until late evening. The tram is on the other side of the footbridge, a trip costs 24cents. Metro, trains and buses are also unbelievably cheap - a two-hour trip to the coast costs 3,35€. It's not worth bringing a car (though if you do, the free garage is a bonus).
Bilbao is a very clean, relaxed city. We were there for three weeks and loved it. Day trips out are also super - Burgos, Santander and San Sebastian are all manageable. But the smaller places are worth the effort, too: Elorrio, Markina, Durango, Lekeitia, Plenzia, Algorto...
Word of warning: don't rely on Google maps - neither for the maps themselves (they haven't caught up with some new building in the city, and certainly not for bus/metro/train trips. Go to the Tourist office and get reliable information.
We found that there wasn't really enough cutlery (only three knives, for instance) and some shortages in crockery and glass (we donated two wine glasses). A dishwasher is a fine thing, but you need to be able to fill it up in order to use it efficiently.

The apartment was well equipped and would have pretty much everything you'd need for your stay , location was great some nice bars right on the doorstep as well as some we stocked shops and supermarkets . The centre was within easy reach via foot or public transport
Bit of street noise from rubbish collection in the mornings, but this is no fault of the owners.
4.5
Great apartment very close to the centre of everything that you'd need in Bilbao. Used key/codes to get in and out which worked well, everything we needed was inside, pretty much perfect for what we wanted which at the time was a central base for a race we were doing in the area.

The apartment was in a great location for walking around Bilbao. It was perfect for our needs in that it was centrally located, had a great little kitchen and bathroom, and we were able to spread out more than we could have in a hotel room. Very comfortable for a couple of nights in Bilbao! Our hosts were soooooo nice and so helpful when I couldn't get the door open the first time. And they texted to check on us which was a very nice touch!
The central location also meant that we were right next to a plaza and a recycling center. So it was hard to have the windows open, especially at night, because the street noise was pretty noticeable. Also, the bathroom was pretty small, so just be aware, and we didn't discover the air conditioner until we were getting ready to leave (that's on me!). The door is a challenge to open at times, so just be patient!

location was fine, quite central and lively.
appartment was quite big, the bathroom not so much. There was a kitchen but we did not use it
beds were very squeeky/noisy
