Moody staff spoil the good ambience

The concept of renting an apartment is new. The property is kept and presentable

I had booked a 3bhk for a night for 5 members and a kid. However for consumables like tea bags, sugar sachets, there were only 2 each provided and when requested for more, I was reminded each time that only 2 are provided and they are doing me a favour by giving me more. Same way for the dental kits. Now these are petty things you never want to argue with the customer for. This is no luxury we are demanding for, basic tea bags, sugar sachets ....

This property should be avoided especially Hindus who travel to temple town for pilgrimage .

I had gone to Guruvayur on pilgrimage. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves beef. This is so unfair. The name of the hotel is so misleading. If the hotel serves beef the such place is not suitable for stay when we are on pilgrimage. It hearts our religious sentiments.

Good hotel but location is away from temple

The location is a bit far from the Guruvayoor temple and there is a long detour to be taken due to the bridge construction work . So it is a bit of a hassle getting to the temple

Unsatisfied stay at Utsavam Hotel Apartments

For a family the property is nice since it has two rooms or 3 rooms apartments. At present the location is not good since the fly over work ia going on for the past one year and its a long way to the Guruvayur temple. You need to drive almost 3km more to reach the temple from the hotel. So there is no way you can park your car at the hotel and walk to the temple.

The rooms were not maintained well,the paints were coming out in most of the walls due to the wetness from the toilets. Air-condition was poorly maintained,even with the ceiling Fan along with a/c the room temp was not dropping below 25 degrees. All together it was a very unpleasant stay. When these drawbacks were pointed out to the staff they said not to report in the site. They dont seem to be professionals. It looks like the entire management is malfunctioning. They could have easily avoided all this points if there was proper supervision for maintenance from the Top Management.

The property was well maintained and clean. The staff were very responsive too and helpful.

only con was that the property was a tad far from the Guruvayur temple which was the purpose of our visit. We were aware of this but it wasn’t too easy to get autos to and from either. The hotel did luckily have a paid pick and drop service although you have to tell them the previous night for early mornings.
