Leider enttäuschend

Die Lage war ganz gut, der Meerblick vom Balkon war auch schön. Die Klimaanlagen haben gut funktioniert. Eine Menge Restaurants, Bars und Shops in Fußweite. Jeden zweiten Tag wurde grob gereinigt, die Mistkübel geleert, die Handtücher gewechselt und das Bett frisch überzogen.

Da gabs leider mehrere Punkte. Für einen Preis von über 100€/Tag war es leider etwas enttäuschend. Die Sauberkeit war oberflächlich ganz ok, jedoch durfte man nicht all zu genau hinsehen. In der Dusche wäre es nicht verkehrt mal das Silikon zu erneuern, das sah nicht mehr sehr hygenisch aus. Die zwei billigen Plastikhaken für die Badetücher waren abgebrochen, man konnte also nirgends sein Bade/Handtuch aufhängen. Die Fliesenfugen waren im Bad, in den Wohn-/Schlafräumen und am Balkon stellenweise ziemlich verschmutzt. Im Schlafbereich oben waren mehrere Fliesen locker und die Fugenmasse herausgebrochen. Die Staubschicht oben am TV sagt mir, das dort mehrere Wochen kein Staubwedel mehr im Einsatz war. Der Eingang zum Badezimmer ist eine Stolperfalle. Die Treppe nach oben ist sehr steil und eng und man muss verdammt aufpassen um sich beim hinuntergehen nicht den Kopf zu stoßen. Der "Kleiderschrank" waren zwei Bretter und eine Kleiderstange (mit 4 ganzen Kleiderbügeln), und das nicht mal schön gemacht. Der Balkon war von aussen und Jederman frei zugänglich da es keine Abgrenzung gibt. Das Abwasser der Klimaanlagen floß ungehindert und unreguliert quer über den Balkon, man hat also immer nasse Füße, die beim Betreten des Wohnbreichs auch Rutschgefahr auf den glatten Fließen bedeutet. Fußmatten gab es keine. Die Küche ist eigentlich ein schlechter Scherz. Minimalistischste Austattung, zum kochen ziemlich ungeeignet. Das Backrohr war nicht sehr sauber, das Kochfeld noch weniger. Auch gab es kein Wetex oder ähnliches um das Geschirr abzuwaschen, aber Geschirrspülmittel gab es. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Duschkopf und die Abwascharmatur defekt, wurde dann aber repariert. Die Eingangstür konnte nicht abgesperrt werden, und der Griff war sehr locker. Auf den Fotos im Vorfeld sah alles top aus, dem ist leider nicht so. Auch die Angaben sind nicht alle korrekt (zb gab es keinen Haartrockner).

Perfect location

The location was amazing

Not enough kitchen facilities. It was virtually impossible to make food, not enough crockery, knives etc.. no plug in kitchen sink or bowl to wash up, wasn’t too much of an issue as we ate out. Apartment other than that was lovely

Paradise, room with a view⛵️🌞🐚🐬🇬🇷🐠

The superior studio had sea views from both sides, best air conditioning ive ever had anywhere, and if you put on DRY mode, was silent for sleeping, nice cabinet in bathroom to store personal toiletries.

Only minus was shower cubicle had rain shower and hand held shower attachment, but the hand held one did not work, this is the one i use for washing hair.I was in room 7.

Excellent hospitality

Over the years I stayed in many places in Alykes. All of them were lovely. What is special about Golden Dolphin is an exceptional hospitality of the owners. Cleanliness is super and positioning of the guest house is - right at the beach front is a definite bonus. Downstairs there’s a best bar Hakuna Matata where you can have some nice food too. Golden Dolphin is not just an accommodation. This company also offers a large variety of coach tours and cruises. We went to Olimpia, Zante town at night, the famous Navagio beach and Blue Caves and next time we will certainly visit a neighbouring island - Kefalonia. We will definitely stay in the same guesthouse. Thank you guys for having us! And for your wonderful hospitality ❤️ Monika and Chris

Perfect thank you!!

Sunrise views are stunning! The suite was on two floors with views across to kefalonia, very clean lovely family special thanks to Roxanna for her hospitality and Victoria for always smiling ! We will most definitely be back!

The only small thing was the stairs were very steep up to the second floor so may be hard for some.

Loved our stay there and we will definitely go again.

Location excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was a bit cramped. The bed bases have sharp corners, we both cut our shins on them.

Exceptional

Excellent location, we were all blown away with how close to the beach it was! Everything you need so you don't have to worry about a thing while you're away! Perfect! Would 100% recommend! Staff were also fantastic and super friendly!

Modern, clean accommodation a stones throw from the beach

Location brilliant and owner always on hand for help and information

Shower door was missing but the owner soon sorted with a new shower curtain ...nothing was too much trouble

Excellent accommodation for price and location.

It is a great location, accessible to the beach and easy to get to the main area. Accommodation clean and appropriate.

One set of stairs has quite big steps and this would be difficult if mobility is an issue - other set of stairs more manageable

Excellent relaxing and restorative all round

Apartment cool clean and nicely finished. Few steps to the sea via beach bar with excellent food, drinks and service. Great small beach, beautiful turquoise water. Generally friendly ambiance

Lovely location

Great location right on the beach and a short walk to restaurants, bars etc. Big balcony and comfy beds. Apartment block had a great beach bar.

The shower didn’t have a curtain or barrier so water went everywhere when we showered. The shower head was also hand held only. We had a kitchenette but didn’t receive any dish washing liquid or sponges so had to buy these ourselves. Our apartment was cleaned once during our five night stay, it would have been nice to have it cleaned more often.
