Zmarnowany czas

Widok z balkonu, ale taki widok można mieć z innego apartamentu czy hotelu.

Od dnia przyjazdu, od wieczora zmagaliśmy się z ciągłymi awariami wynikającymi z przeciekającego sufitu powodującego częste wyłączenia prądu w wynajętym apartamencie. Zalewanie wodą urządzeń elektrycznych takich jak gniazda elektryczne, mikrofalówka oraz kuchenka elektryczna powodowało zagrożenie naszego bezpieczeństwa, gdyż mogło dojść do porażenia prądem któregoś z członków mojej rodziny. Z mikrofalówki przed automatycznym wyłączeniem prądu wydobywał się łuk elektryczny. Brak prądu uniemożliwiał działanie lodówki oraz klimatyzacji w całym mieszkaniu co powodowało nasz ogromny dyskomfort. Codziennie musieliśmy ścierać wodę z zalanych mebli oraz podłogi. Już pierwszego dnia pobytu poinformowaliśmy właściciela o zaistniałej sytuacji, który przysłał do naszego apartamentu sąsiada mieszkającego w tym samym budynku w którym mieści się wynajmowany apartament. Sąsiad próbując usunąć awarię poinformował nas, że przeciekający sufit w naszym apartamencie to powtarzający się, stary problem. Na potwierdzenie jego słów wskazuje stan starych uszkodzeń sufitu oraz mebli kuchennych (zdjęcia w załączeniu). Wobec powyższego należy stwierdzić, że wynajmujący nam apartament doskonale wiedział o problemie, a mimo to wynajął nam wadliwy apartament nie informując nas o tym. Komunikacja z właścicielem była dobra, gdyż natychmiast powiadamiał sąsiadów, którzy starali się rozwiązywać problemy. Awarie powtarzały się codziennie przez 6 dni. Każdego wieczoru przychodzili do naszego apartamentu dwaj sąsiedzi próbując pomóc nam rozwiązać problem awarii. Podczas naszego pobytu w apartamencie właściciel nie spotkał się z nami osobiście. Booking.com zrekompensował nam zepsute wakacje tylko w niewielkiej części, a właściciel nie poczuwa się do odpowiedzialności. Ponadto klimatyzacja choć działająca nie była chyba nigdy czyszczona. Dodatkowo: łazienka w złym stanie, a kosz na śmieci w łazience przywitał nas z zawartością po poprzednich wczasowiczach. Okna nieszczelne w łazience i w salonie.

Nice trip at nice apartment

Very cozy place with nice view on sea. Me and my friends enjoyed with all the facilities in the apartment. Neil responds very fast for any our questions and was pleasant with us. The coffee capsule, wine also was provided for us.

Great view in hood location.

Good sized 2 bedroom apartment. Big kitchen / dining area and great view from the large balcony. 2 small supermarkets within 5 minutes. Steps down to lovely waterfront walk. There is rooftop access in the building. Neil was always very quick to respond. He also offered an airport collection which we used.

Bathroom is basic but ok.

View to die for!

The view was to die for and location was great as well.

It wasn't really clean even the trash after previous guests was still there which of course can happen but it wasn't clean overall. Considering you are paying the cleaning fee, you would expect it cleaner. The apartment is decent but certainly in need of a bit of renovation.

A dream!

The view was incredible, probably the best one in the area. The apartment is big, cozy and very well stocked. Neil, the owner is an amazing host. We arrived at night, welcomed by a very nice bottle of wine that he gifted us. The first view in the morning, took our breath away. Blue water as far as our eyes could see, sleepy boats rocking slowly in the water, amazing! We felt at home for 5 days. We enjoyed the vast selection of coffee and tea and we marveled at the April 27th fireworks straight from our balcony. We had front row seats, as they were set to go off from the water outside our building. When we left, we forgot a bag of clothes, but Neil made sure that we got it back before our flight home. Neil, you spoiled us! Many thanks! :)

Great communication from neal who we rented the apartment from. He also sorted are airport transport to and from the apartment for us . Thanks again Neal . And thanks to Karl the taxi drive who picked us up late at night from the airport and really early from the apartment to return to the airport thanks karl

Great stay - would definitely recommend it!

Unfortunately, the keys were not in the locker as expected, however, the host was easy to reach and a very friendly and nice neighbour opened the door for us! So all good in the end. The location was amazing, with the balcony and sea view. The rooms were nice and the kitchen well equipped. Also, we always found a parking spot on the street without a problem. And lot's of bars and restaurants around.

Not related to this specific property, the area and possibly the whole of Malta has a VERY serious lack of parking areas. People wishing to travel around should seriously consider all other transportation means before deciding to rent a car.

Inspirational place to stay outside the crowdy Valleta. Very close to Gozo.

Really awesome view. Nice terrace with table and chairs where you can see the sea, boats and and clifs ahead. Beds are super comfy. We were happy to see the welcoming wine and cookies.

You could want for nothing!

You could want for nothing. The appartment has an incrediable view and the amount of facilities is exceptional.Neil is an exceptional host and will respond to and act on any message within the hour.

*Just for people to he aware, not a complaint. If you are staying with children, note that the water in the bathroom gets extremely hot very quickly.

True gem

Malta itself is beautiful, and was made even more wonderful by our stay at this apartment. From the beginning Neil was quick to reply to all my queries. Communication was great. Self check-in was easy, the keys were left in a secure key box by the door. Location was superb, St Paul’s Bay is about 15-20 minutes to all the nice beaches (Ghajn Tuffieha, Melleiha Bay, Paradise Bay). If not, a few metres from the apartment, you can jump into the sea for a swim as the locals do. The apartment was spacious for a small family (2 adults and 1 toddler). The kitchen was well equipped with all pots and pans, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, washing machine and even, a dishwasher! Clearly a lot of thought and care from Neil and Chris to make this apartment an incredible stay. An only small suggestion is if there could be a standing fan in the living room, as it meant we had to put on air-conditioning all day (32 degrees!) Otherwise, the apartment was amazing and I’d fully recommend!

Parking was difficult, but I think that’s for everywhere in Malta. It just meant that you’d had to circle around the blocks a few times to find one.

This appartment profits from its unbeatable balcony & view - stunning! It is a perfect flat for 3-4 persons. 1 master double bedroom, 1 smaller double bedroom. Great kitchen equipment for self catering. Neil is the perfect host, always helpful with tips and supported when needed. Easy check in procedure. Would definitely book again😄

Cozy apartment with excellent view!

We had an excellent stay in this cozy apartment. For us it was very good located, kind of close to the life on the promenade, but still far enough to enjoy the view from the balcony in peaceful atmosphere. The communication with the owner Neil was easy at all times. We felt like home with all comforts we need.
