The house and the neighborhood were beautiful. It would be appreciated if there could be beach towels and maybe portable beach chairs available.

We had a good time but property was tired and needed a lot of TLC and cleaning up.

The A/C went out the first day we were there...bad deal! However, the property management company had someone there that night. While he was unable to repair the A/C that night he did leave us with 3 portable units to help keep the house somewhat comfortable. The A/C was fixed the next day, which allowed me and my family to enjoy the rest of our stay.
We absolutely loved the fact that the house was located in a gated community with private beach access away from the public beaches. The community was clean and safe, which made us feel 100% comfortable with our girls walking back and forth to and from the beach.
If you've never been to Gulf Shore make sure you take your patience as the traffic is absolutely terrible, but other than that we had a really good time in what was really good accommodations.

Great vacation house - clean, spacious and enjoyable for adults and kids alike

Great stay with three families and kids! We were disappointed the fishing pier hadn’t been rebuilt yet and pictures on the listing did not reflect that - we had some disappointed boys that had planned on fishing all week. Also, garage doors are broken, so no extra cars there; and kayak was locked up with no access or instructions for use. Pool was perfect for the kids!

Slight issue getting in upon arrival, but a phone call fixed our problem. No hot water, but solved next day. Decided not to pay the extra to heat the pool. Never figured out the sound system and had problems connecting to some tvs, but figured it out for the most part. Loved the location. Would definitely return.

We had such a wonderful stay at Coastal Sands! We loved the location and the beauty backing up to the lagoon. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the large closet in the master where we were able to tuck our infant in a pack and play and have a door to close. The home could use some minor repairs like the whole house sound system not working, broken garage doors, slow to drain master sink and a hard to close back door. We did not attempt to contact the property manager over these manners, so we like to think they would have made every attempt to repair them. These things did not prevent us from enjoying our vacation and were more like minor inconveniences. This is our second stay in the neighborhood and we really loved the views from this home!

Only one thing missing
This house was fantastic. It was everything we wanted - quiet community, walking distance to the beach w/o having to cross a busy street, ample space, and plenty of bathrooms.
We were a mix of family and friends (three couples + 3 teens + a 6 y.o. + 1 y.o. twins). This house was perfect for us.
The master bedroom allowed space for our 2 pack-n-plays for the twins and a twin daybed for our six y.o. with space left over to move about. The teens shared the main floor bedroom with the other two couples in the second floor bedrooms.
We cooked and cooked and cooked in large kitchen. Everything (utensil, pot, or pan) you could need was there. There were not seasonings however, so do bring or plan to buy your own.
The kids enjoyed the pool everyday. The filter wasn't on when we got there but one call and that was fixed the same day.
The private, community access to the beach was exactly what we wanted - an easy, safe walk for the kids (and us).
My only complaint is that the upstairs beds were too soft. It feels silly to even share that but it'd be my only change to this house - firmer mattresses upstairs.
We plan to visit again next year and can't wait.

Great location, walking distance to the beach
Great place for a girls getaway weekend. The pool was perfect for our party of 7. Management was very responsive via text when the pool heater needed to be adjusted and we were looking for beach chair rental. Easy walking distance to the beach and the community pool. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Plenty of room to hang out as a group but the house is large enough to find quiet space for the introverts in your party.

Off the beach
The place was clean and the kids enjoyed the pool a lot of steps for an old guy. Kitchen was clean and well equipped.
We would have enjoyed it more if weather had been better. Some lights out in showers. Not a major problem.

nice
We had a problem with plumbing but it was fixed. The pool needed attention, which we complained about but was never attended to. Disappointing. The comforter in the master bedroom was really dirty. Gross! But overall it was a nice house.

Weathered the storm
We stayed in the house during Hurricane Ida. The property weathered the storm perfectly. We all had an enjoyable time despite the wind and rain. Look forward to returning.

The perfect get away!
The house was INCREDIBLE! We had 3 families, 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 12 years to 10 months and there was plenty of room. House was very clean. AC worked great!
The pool is quite a bit smaller than what it looks like in pictures but still was fine as we weren’t all in at once. Neighborhood was awesome as was its pool and location to the beach! Beach was EMPTY which we loved.
Correspondence with property management wasn’t great. Got no response to emails leading up to the trip and the texts they sent were very surface level with little knowledge as to when we could early check in, the pools temp etc. They had no idea how hot the pool was or would be heated to if we did pay the large fee to heat for 4 days. pool was not cleaned up from the hurricane until it’s regularly scheduled date/they wouldn’t send someone out before our arrival so we had to clean it out ourselves to swim.
Besides a so so management company the house itself was amazing! Def bring your own toilet paper etc as there was one roll per bathroom. But towels were great, beds were fine and kitchen had all dishes you could need!

Would stay in Gulf Shores again
Everything about the location is great and the house is great. Plenty of stuff to do in the area and the property is secluded so you get a nice quiet beach. I had three issues while there with the property. Our pool was quite dirty, our internet went out along with some electrical issues due to a storm. All of this is certainly ok if dealt with, but it wasn't taken care of. I notified the property company the morning after the storm (night one of our stay) and neither issue was resolved before we left. We can deal without internet, we did not go there to stay inside... but when I notified them of the issue they asked me to call the cable company? I don't like calling them when I'm home let alone when on vacation. I am fairly tech savvy and offered to restart the network if they could point me in the direction of the modem and router. They did not tell me where it was located.
The larger issue in my eyes was the pool. We intentionally got a house with a pool so we could use it. The pool became so dirty that nobody wanted to get in. Fortunately the community pool was a quick walk.
Highly recommend the area, it's a nice place to stay. The Laguna Key community where the house is located is a great location too. The road dead-ends at the community, there is nothing past this group of houses. It's gate can patrolled by security so you really only see people that are staying there. We had a total of 6 kids and 4 adults, the house easily accommodated all of us without feeling crowded.

Coastal Sands
Really enjoyed all of the space and the rear facing view into the bay/lagoon. Beach, pool and tennis courts gave lots of options for fun. Disappointed the the boardwalk to the bay was still under repair from previous storms - one of our guests was looking forward to some fishing.

Great house, location and experience.
Great house in a fabulous location. Tons of space, very clean, amenities were awesome. Secluded area. Utilized porches at night to watch the water and enjoy the breeze! Community pool was fantastic and walk to the beach was short and easy! Our private pool was good but we needed a skimmer (there wasn't one at the house) to keep it clean each day. Other than that, the house was really great!

Almost Home Away from Home
Beautiful house, very nice amenities, easy beach access. The 2 or 3 very minor issues we had were addressed shockingly fast by Harris Property Mgmt. We will not hesitate to return should we select Gulf Shores for our next family vacation.

Great spot for a vacation getaway. We were disappointed that the dock was in accessible. So we were unable to enjoy fishing. However overall the experience was enjoyable.

Nice place for a beach getaway
Excellent property with amenities for a nice family getaway. Only problem was, the pool heat wasn't turned on despite multiple requests and it took a while to get it heated, we lost couple of days due to it.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay at this location very much. The pool was great and the walk to the beach was short. Overall we had a great time. There is definitely some maintenance that could be done on this location. The air conditioner upstairs did not work properly. It ran the entire time we were there and never got below 78 degrees. The pool area had random screws laying around. The landscaping could use some sprucing. There were multiple pots with dead plants or just plain junk in them. Some of the pictures were not accurate on the website. The bedroom on the main floor has bunk beds, but a single bed is shown.

The neighborhood was beautiful. When we arrived, we noticed the doors upstairs were opened. We later found that it was very difficult to properly close and lock the doors. We called the after-hours line to inform them. I was told they would send someone to look at it. They didn’t. The following morning, someone called at 8am which the defeated the purpose because at 4 women in a rental house, we had to sleep with the doors not properly closed and locked. The refrigerator was dirty. There was brown dirt and residue under the glass shelves. The pool looked like it had not been cleaned out for many weeks. So we ended up going to the community pool because it was cleaner. We also wiped everything down with Clorox wipes when we got there and everything was filthy. We had to use so many wipes to clean everything. The WiFi and Bluetooth also didn’t work so we were not able to use the speakers and surround sound and when we told the guys who came to fix the door, they basically said ♀️ We were having a bridal shower and wanted to be able to play music because that’s what was advertised. The lights also flickered at night giving the house a creepy feeling. So I’d probably not rent this house or recommend/use Harris Properties again.

Perfect week at Gulf Shores
The house was perfect. The location had a beautiful backyard and view, and the walk to the beach entrance was very minimal. Overall a wonderful experience. We would definitely come back.

Overall. A Good Property
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and as listed! The neighborhood was fantastic and a short walk to the beach. Loved the little mini pool. Our only complaint was the doors were hard to open and close fully and really hard to lock. And soooo many stairs. The fold out couches were not usable a lot of wires sticking out. And no ceiling fans anywhere.

Nice subdivision
The bedrooms were not advertised correctly. The bedroom on the main floor did not have doors that shut and no closet. Other than that the beach was nice and private pool was great for the kids.
