Our group had a great stay in this home. The home is spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Our group of 13 had plenty of space to spread out and good spaces to be together. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The game room and outdoor space was very appreciated. The location was great for airport access (20 min to DCA or IAD), shopping, and getting to DC. The attention to details ensured that we had an enjoyable stay. I would definitely rent again and highly recommend this home.

Loved this house. Wish the weather would’ve collaborated with us to enjoy the backyard but the game room was amazing. Willliam was quick to respond and great to work with. Will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Overall, the house had enough space to accommodate 18 women. We didn’t feel crowded and some enjoyed quiet time upstairs. The house had enough beds and bathrooms to share. The house was clean, the neighborhood was quiet, and some of ladies really enjoyed the backyard. We had an opportunity to reconnect and spend time together. We will consider returning to the house next year.

Renting and communication was good. Game room was not stocked with items to use games. House manager made a special trip to try and find what he could. Just a touch warm in the upstairs bedrooms. All in all the house worked for us.

Lots of pluses, some surprise difficulties
Lots of pluses, some surprise difficulties
This place offered a lot: lots of space for all our visiting family, great area for visiting D.C. and local sites, a fun play space on the top floor for relaxation when it was too hot outside for outdoor explorations. The owner was extremely prompt and polite with all of our communications, and, while there were challenges, he responded to them quickly. There were some distinct and unexpected difficulties. Despite registering for 11 people, we arrived to find there was only silverware for 8. The silverware didn't match, there wasn't a complete set of matching glasses. There were no hand towels or kitchen towels. The hand soaps were empty. There was also some strangeness with the neighborhood, and our check-in instructions included things like closing the shades at night because it's so visible to the neighborhood. We were only allowed to park two cars in the driveway, despite there being room for more. It turned out that the neighbors weren't too happy about the place being a VRBO, and both the check-in/out instructions and communications from the neighbors communicated this fact. We paid a lot of money for this place. It should have been well stocked, clean, and have a complete set of everything needed (dishes, silverware, handtowels, a starter fill-up on hand soap) for the full registered party. It looked like it was decorated from Good Will. There were multiple lamps that had colored bulbs in them instead of just normal bulbs, like a party house rather than a normal house. I think the owner is really trying to make the place nice, but the price didn't match with what was delivered. If the owner invests in those small but important touches, including completing the construction and woodwork/trim finishing, the place is otherwise solid and in a great location.
