Had a wonderful stay with grandkids through grandparents.

Owner/ property manager never responded. Towels were smelly, floors dirty, appliances needed replacing, painting never finished, trash/recycling full upon arrival, beds and bedding needed replacing. Check-in instructions wrong. Otherwise nice and in a beautiful location and adequate for a large family gathering.

The location was convenient for all Acadia hiking and Bar Harbor. The setting was beautiful and the house had plenty of room for 10 adults. The kitchen was well appointed. Lovely details such as throw blankets and outdoor sectional made our stay very comfortable.

The property was good but the check-in instructions were wrong. The instruction mentioned the lockbox with the code but it was wrong. The passcode was for the keyless lock and it was not for the lockbox. We struggled for a while to unlock the lockbox with the passcode but finally entered the passcode to the entry keybox and we were able to open the door. We had no other issues and spent good time.

Overall this home offers 3 large bathrooms and 5 sleeping areas. Down a quiet road, outside the small town. A couple restaurants close, Southwest Harbor offers more businesses, restaurants and a great ice cream shop. We had an issue with WiFi going out, took them until the next day to respond to me and get it fixed. Didn’t leave instructions for their cooling units so we were without AC for a day. Paint touch ups and light work needed around the house. Limited cell service at the house. Worked well for our large group of family though.

My friends came to Maine to help me follow through with the burial of my father. We had 11 people who all stayed together, and a great time was had by all.
We ate 2 meals in everyday including a big lobster feed. The house could use some new nut crackers and picks for lobsters.
We sat outside on the deck and talked up a storm. The fire pit was used for s'mores and star gazing.
I am sure the deer loved our feeding her and we enjoyed her daily visit.
We had an issue with not enough dish towels and the trundle bed was broken. The property management team was quick to correct the issues.
It would be nice to have a handle going upstairs.
This is a great place and I for sure would book it again

Private location with wildlife in the yard. We enjoyed nearby trails and short drive into Acadia. Home is very comfortable for our group of 9.

First time I have ever thought the house looked better in person than on the listing (usually it’s the other way around)

A wonderful peaceful place to relax yet large enough for children to play. Location close to the beauty and attractions of Acadia.

House was exactly as shown. Air conditioning worked great on very hot days. The property is a short drive to many trails in Acadia that are fun and easy. There was no congestion or parking problems in our area.

Our family of 8 was very comfortable in this house. The property is well located for some Acadia trails and Bass Harbor Island Cruises (which we recommend). The drive to Bar Harbor and other parts of Acadia wasn't bad. Our only negative comment is that some items in the house need repair (loose leg on coffee table, loose toilet paper holder, clock battery, squeaky bar stools). We would stay here again if we returned to the area.

Even though it rained almost the whole time we were there, we had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The front porch is divine. Perfectly outfitted. I'd stay here again. (one tiny thing - there was no can opener.)

Great Place!
Spent 4 days here with my 5 friends as we were exploring Acadia while remote working. There was plenty of space inside the house and outside for our group. Dwayne left great check-in and check-out instructions and was very responsive during our stay. Pictures were a perfect reflection of what the property looks like. A wonderful stay!

Family Trip for All Ages!
The house was perfect for our needs! We were travel with our family, including Grandparents, the house with all the bedrooms and multi baths made it possible to give all privacy, but yet we all we're together! We really appreciated having a washer and dryer available for all our needs and the open kitchen/Dinning made for memorial, family meals and conversation. We REALLY enjoyed being on the "quite" side of MDI, but for others, esp. first time visitors it might be nice to know that it's a 30 minute drive to the park entrance. The cleanliness, smoke free, and pet free policy will definitely make this property on our list to visit again AND recommend to our friend and family who want to visit MDI! Thanks so much for letting us experience Maine in your beautiful property.

Great Location For Acadia
The property was very clean and perfect for our party of 9. It had a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of space inside and out. Its location in Bass Harbor is very close to some great hikes and sight seeing in that portion of Acadia. We would certainly consider staying there again if we are fortunate enough to be back in the area.

Bass Harbor
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bass Harbor, on the quiet side of MDI. The house was wonderful, with all the conveniences needed for a week’s stay. Dwayne was a very accommodating host and always gracious answering my many questions while planning this trip. House and host highly recommended.

This property exceeded our expectations and provided a perfect base for our exploration of the area. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing Experience
Dwayne's house is beautifully located in a quiet neighborhood. The property itself was very clean, nicely organized with clear instructions. Dwayne was very prompt in responding to messages and helped us pack accordingly. The kids loved the space inside and outside the house.
Will definitely rebook for our future trips to ME
