Located at 9,600 feet in the heart of Brian Head, Lazy Bear Cottage is in a perfect location spring, summer, fall or winter! Why rent a condo with potentially noisy neighbors when you can have a cottage to yourself!

It is located between the two main lift areas (a half mile from both lifts) and on the ski shuttle route. It is a quick 10 minute walk to the ski lifts, restaurants and the General Store. During the winter, there are miles of cross-country and snowmobile trails throughout the area. There are also snow tubing and sledding hills for kids of all ages!

When the snow has melted, the Brian Head area offers some of the best hiking, mountain biking and trails in Utah. With nearby lakes, bring your rod and reel to enjoy a day of fishing or to dip your toes! There are also many ATV trails throughout the area that connect to different towns, including Duck Creek.

Decorated in rustic antiques, this cozy two story 800 sq foot cottage is a perfect place to "snuggle" and create memories! It has two bedrooms and one bath with a shower, kitchen with a new refrigerator, new electric start gas range with oven, 4K Roku TV to stream your favorite shows, Blu-ray DVD player and a gas furnace rated fireplace. It has a large front porch and a large rear deck with a new gas BBQ grill and gas fire pit. The cottage is convenient to all Brian Head has to offer, yet is backed up to forest land with a view of meadows and mountains. All cooking utensils are provided as well as paper goods, soaps and linens.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed (new carpet June 2021; new mattress May 2022) and the upstairs second bedroom has two twin size beds (new mattresses May 2022). There is a twin sized couch (new May 2022) in the upstairs TV room/loft (new carpet May 2023).

Located on 1/4 of an acre, you have enough room to spread out and have some privacy! It has woods in the back for you to explore and freshly paved parking on the side of the cottage for your boat/ATV/Razor trailer. For your safety and the safety of your property, security cameras are located on the exterior of the cottage.

This is a non-smoking cottage. You may smoke on the front or back porch. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts. No illegal drugs (including marijuana) are allowed. Deposit will be kept if violated.

ONE DOG under 40 pounds is allowed with an additional $20/night charge due to additional cleaning needs. An additional dog and/or dogs over 40 pounds may be allowed with the owners permission and additional $25/night fee. TWO DOG MAX. Failure to disclose pet(s) or size will result in forfeiture of your security deposit. PLEASE disclose all pets!!! Please pick up pet waste and do not allow them to pee/poop on the front or back porch! Please be confident your pet will not have an "accident" on the carpet due to it being in an unfamiliar place. You are responsible for any damage to the carpet due to pet waste, which may result in forfeiture of your security deposit and an additional charge. Out of consideration for future guests and potential allergies, cats are not allowed.

The cottage IS NOT handicapped accessible. If you have breathing or respiratory issues, please be aware of how the elevation may affect these issues.

During the winter months, the main road and the cottage parking area right off the main road is plowed, but due to plows only being able to work during daylight hours, please use caution if you are checking in after sunset. In the event your trip is during or after a snow storm, please be aware you may have to walk in the snow. The parking area is plowed upon 6 inches of snow, so you may need/want to do some light shoveling of the parking area and/or porch. Chains or snow tires may be required. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.

2-night minimum stay - 3-night minimum stay during holidays. You must be at least 25 years old to rent. Maximum capacity is 5. Please disclose the correct number of guests that will be staying when you are making your reservation. This is for your safety! This is in case there is an emergency and I need to accurately account for all guests. Additional guests beyond capacity is in violation of city code and you will be asked to vacate. You will forfeit the cost of your nightly rental for the length of your reservation and your security deposit!

Early check in may be available with an additional fee.

Very cute little cabin. Decorated with very cute antiques. The only bad point is it sits on an extremely busy road with semis and cement trucks going up and down non stop. Other than the road, it was a great stay.

We loved everything about this cabin. There was a great hiking trail through the forest right by the cabin. The Netflix was a surprise and welcomed watching a lil TV. Our favorite part of the cabin was the firepit n chairs on the back deck. We especially loved that part and was out there for hours. I would recommend this cabin to anyone I know.

Adorable cozy and comfy Cabin very close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and everything you need is there. We didn't need to use the upstairs, but it would be a perfect fit for a family with 2 kids as there is the second bedroom with twin beds and a TV den upstairs. Great spot in BrianHead.
