Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet. Clean and easy.
Bed small. It would be perfect for one person.

Extremely cozy place, close to town but secluded enough for it to be quiet and peaceful.
Somewhat small bed, but that’s understandable given it’s a small space. Same for the height of door frames that tall people might need to move around carefully.

It was super cute. You could park right up near the door. It had a good little kitchenette. It was pet friendly. It felt like you were in a tiny cottage (not a hotel). Loved being nestled in the redwoods.
The throw rug was curled at one corner and it caused you to trip. The curtain kept falling off, seemed to be missing a bracket. The shower head was too high, a hand held sower head would have been preferred.

The location was perfect and the grounds beautiful. We were close to everything we needed.
The shower was too small. A better design would have been to take out the built in shelving in favor of a larger shower, perhaps with a small bench, and add a shelf to the wall for storage. Also, the toaster oven was fine but I wasn’t sure what plates were safe for it and there was no pan. A small microwave would have been more useful for us.
Lastly, the weather stripping on the door wasn’t quite right and had a big enough gap that I watched two earwigs, a beetle and a small spider let themselves in.

Location convenient to downtown and freeway. Parking. Bed and facilities.
Was smaller than anticipated. Would have preferred a microwave to the hot plate. Not much room to store 2 suitcases and 2 small backpacks.
10.0 / 10.0
Location, quietness, coziness, and perfect darkness for sleeping in.
Minor issues but not enough to make it unpleasant. Would recommend addressing:
--manual fan in bathroom tricky to operate. string required much finagling.
--shelf with glassware/plates too close to walking area. Should be easier to mount on wall, where you wouldn't bump into it when going to the bathroom.

Could not get burner to work, would only read E when turned on..
Tv was very slow. Otherwise wonderful.

The place was beautiful! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it definitely exceeded my expectations!
It could have snowed 😞

Location great accessible to downtown. Owners on site and very nice. Peaceful.
The bed was not good at all. Queen frame with a double in it. My husband had to sleep on the floor because he couldn't get comfortable. They need to update their pictures of property. What I thought I was booking is not what we got. No microwave only a toaster oven and induction cook top. Not ideal.

Studio was very nice and cozy.....the double bed gave us problems. Not very comfortable and we are not used to sleeping on a double bed. We met the property owner and she was so friendly and gave us a tour of her lovely garden.
Working with Vacasa was not easy....we were very disappointed. Finally after a very stressful day, Rosa from the Vacasa office in Arcata actually came and helped us get the key out of the lock box and we were very grateful for her help.

Great location, 20min walk from downtown and 2min walk to arcata community forest. Clean, quaint, no complaints. Deck and bbq were great for summertime trip.
Sheets in the bed were a little stiff/scratchy
