About this house rental

Spacious guest room with king size bed; and sitting area; includes full private bath with shower. It is attached to the main residence but has a separate private entrance, NO ACCESS to the main house) w/ and does have separate parking.
There is a mini kitchenette area that includes a mini refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee machine. ( Coffee pods are included).
The Barn Room is only a mile away from activities in Gruene, including live music, dancing; shopping and numerous restaurants with great menus. 10 Minutes to Tanger Outlet Mall; 5 minutes to downtown New Braunfels; 40 minutes to Austin and 30 minutes to San Antonio Riverwalk.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights to attend a wedding a few miles away. This location is close to shopping, eateries, and saloons in Gruene. The deer visiting the property were an unexpected bonus. The onsite owner/manager was delightful. We'd definitely stay here again if we visit this area again.

The accommodations were just as advertised. Place was clean. used the fire pit for hot dogs and smores. Great! Location was terrific... just a few minutes from downtown Gruene. Would stay here again. Recommended.

Came for a concert and we were so near to Gruene. Beautifully decorated and a super comfy bed with lovely linens. Definitely recommend it and would stay again. Beautiful yard area and a great little private patio!

It is a gem! Deer greeted us on the property as we drove up. Decor is absolutely charming. Great communication. Comfortable beds… We had so much fun at Gruen Hall‘s concert Sat. Night, Gristmill Restaurant always good.

If you’re looking for a property that’s close to everything, quiet, comfortable, and clean, this is it! It is beautifully decorated and cozy. There are deer all around the property and access to the river is right around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.

The barn room was an enjoyable stay. We stayed 2 night during our visit to Gruene. Room is very clean and very much as advertised. Met Kathy briefly and she is very nice and gave us some suggestions on places to see and eat etc. we would definitely consider staying there again. Oh we also fed the group of dear that come right up to the property.

The Barn Room was great. Loved seeing all the deer every morning right outside the door. Room was clean and just as described. The bed was VERY soft! I brought my own fan, but there were two fans in the room. The only thing I would change is add curtains to the window to block the light from porch light at night. (I never found a switch to turn the light off). There is opaque film on them so no one can see through which is good. The entry door is now accessed by a four digit code instead of by key. Kathy said lock info was updated with VRBO, but VRBO email reflected the door would be unlock and there would be a key. I arrived to find door locked. One quick call and issue was rectified. I have an annual shindig in the area and hope to book The Barn Room in the future. There is a cottage available too!

We wanted to celebrate our 10th anniversary in New Braunfels/Gruene area where we’d lived briefly when first moving to Texas. This rental was perfect for our needs. It was a small intimate space where we could just relax after a long day of wandering through town. Definitely would recommend!

This place is private oasis away from the hubbub of a party weekend in Gruene. It was quiet and had all the amenities that we needed. It was great to be able to enjoy Gruene and New Braunfels and then escape to our comfortable getaway only 10 minutes away in a beautiful countryside.

Very cute, quiet and clean one room suite. It was only a mile from the chaos of Gruene, but located in a quiet neighborhood near the river. The room was spacious with a king-sized bed, a couple of chairs, and a small “kitchenette” (mini-fridge, microwave and Kuerig). Outside, there was a small sitting area, which was perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. We’ll definitely be back!

Took my boyfriend here to see Randal King at Gruene Hall. It was super close to town, we absolutely loved the deer roaming around. The property was very clean and perfect for couples to stay in. 10/10 recommend and we definitely would love to come back!!
