About this house rental

Located in the new Prestons subdivision in north Christchurch, this sunny and comfortable home is a 20 minute drive to the airport or into the city centre, and 5 minutes drive to the Palms shopping centre. Walk to Flax café for lunch or the Rowdy Kitchen for pizza, or to Christchurch’s newest Maccas in Marshland Road.

Open plan kitchen and living area and separate lounge. Three bedrooms – master bedroom has an en-suite, second bedroom has a queen bed, and third bedroom has a king single bed with pull out bed underneath for the sixth guest if needed.

Sunny outdoor seating areas, garage and off-street parking.

Enjoy a lovely walk around the subdivision to see the wildlife or to plan your new home!

Bed linen and towels provided. Please leave the house as you find it in a clean and tidy condition.

Please note that due to Christchurch City Council requirements, large gatherings are not permitted after 10 pm and noise and traffic movements should be kept to a minimum.

We had a very comfortable stay, Anne was a great communicator and helped to make our stay warm and homely. We had a delayed flight so she arrange to turn on some lights making our arrival easier. The house is well equiped, comfy beds and electric blankets. Everything you need to have a wonderful stay is at this neat and tidy house. Thank you Anne

Me & my cousin lived for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it great house with really nice bedrooms & lounge area. I loved the book shelf & outside deck area with bbq. Highly recommend this property… I’ll will definitely book thik property again when I need it Thanks

The property was perfect for our needs, very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and the laundry facilities were great. The only additional thing we could have asked for was air conditioning or a fan in the bedroom. Elsewhere the cooling was great but the bedroom was a bit hot in January.

Great neighbourhood and very comfortable home! Property is exactly as described. Travis Wetland very close by with great birding! Excellent amenities close by; walking paths, restaurant, and grocery store. Very well equipped and excellent communication. Highly recommend!!

This home is beautiful. Everything we (myself and adult daughter) needed was available and of the highest standard, which made our holiday really enjoyable. Our meeting with the owner was so friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommend.

This was a delightful stay. Home is spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. As a bonus, the outside areas have welcoming seating/eating areas and are neatly manicured. The location is convenient for getting into ChCh proper and, if necessary, to the airport. Garage parking is a great perk. You would not be disappointed with this property!

My wife and I stayed five nights at this property and loved it. The pictures accurately show the property, and it's immaculately maintained. Communications with the owner were excellent, and she provided a lot of helpful information. We especially appreciated the modern kitchen and high-end appliances as we wanted to cook our own meals. The house has everything you'd require for cooking, and we appreciated the variety of pots suitable for Chinese cooking. An aside for those wanting to cook Asian food, try the Kosco market a short drive away for staples like noodles/rice, and for a small selection of Asian vegetables which are hard to find in NZ. This house makes a nice base from which to explore the Christchurch region, and one day we didn't feel like going anywhere and just enjoyed the quite solitude of the deck and multiple rooms with super comfy couches and chairs - a perfect vacation from the vacation. Aside from the more commonly mentioned sights, we really enjoyed trips to Sumner and New Brighton Beach for long beach walks. 100% recommended. Would love to return again.

Anne's house is the perfect home away from home with everything we needed. The outdoor space especially was well used in the summer heat for kids playing and adults relaxing. Very quiet neighborhood. Park down the road was great too. Easy drive to city and main locations. Thanks for having us and your great communication

We had a very enjoyable stay in this clean, warm and comfortable home. With it being not too far from the city we were able to get out and explore the Chch CBD. Having use of the garage to park the car was also an added bonus, enabling us to charge the car one night, and pack the car when it was raining. So glad we discovered this property, and it's a great place to stay.
