Centrally located, good breakfast and welcoming staff. Thank you Jacob.
The room (queen) was a little on the small side. Unlike the grand entrance hall, it looked as though the room had been refurbished on a budget and was a little tired. Mont-de-Marsan itself is OK for a stop-over, but is a tired town with little to do or see, although we did manage to find a decent restaurant nearby for a small meal.

Fabulous staff and restaurant. Food is exceptional; Jacob is a real star man.
Town is a bit tired and limited, but as a stop over, worth the journey.

A beautiful old house exquisitely renovated , charming hosts, and the staff were really friendly.
The bed was really comfortable and bathroom very good .
The resident parrot was delightful!
It would have been nice to have an a la carte menu for dinner. The breakfast was ok, but we would have preferred a buffet style choice.

the villa is indeed beautiful and the room was nice, spacious and comfy too. however, the experience we had was quite poor because of total lack of attention from both the hotel staff and then—during dinner—from the restaurant staff. i voiced my concerned upon checkout (unprompted because the staff did not even asked the usual “how was your stay”) and received an apology from the staff on duty. i also got an email from the property managers. i appreciated the apology and email but it felt too little too late—i did spend almost 400€ for just 1 night (stay + food) and was offered zero redress measures.
we came to the villa for a special night+dinner (nothing else to do/see in this tiny french town) and the experience did not meet our expectations.
- the room had not been fully prepped for our arrival with basic toiletries missing (for instance: no soap!)
- the hotel staff lacked attention to customers and details. for instance, we had noted in our booking it was our wedding anniversary and they did not seem to remember
- they encourage their private paid parking (8€/day) but there are free parking options right outside if you stay over a weekend
- i would suggest you do not eat at their bistrot because the food is bad and not worth the price/hype (they also have another rest on site which we did not try). the restaurant staff also missed imp info on allergies that was duly noted in our booking. we barely ate the main dish and the staff did not even acknowledge
- the town has very little to offer and hotel staff did not care to share any info on highlights. the villa itself is super pretty but no info or tour of the space was offered

Fantastic hotel amazing food, hosts and room would go back in a heart beat. Totally one off and loved it.
I would preferred not to have paid for car parking as parking was pretty easy but it was secure and didn't change my stay at all.

The foyer was smart and stylish
The bedroom was disappointing. Basic furniture. Everything looked like MDF, which is a shame, as the the staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was in a good location to walk to restaurants
The quality of the bedroom furniture. Not what we expect from a 4* hotel

The location, the decor, very stylish!! beautiful building outside and inside. Fantastic location!
I felt they do no have enough personnel. They do not have a regular reception: you walked into a beautiful space with hardwood covered walls, marble sculptures, beautiful painted huge window….but nobody is around…..finally someone showed up with a little apron… is he the bartender or the person in charge of doing the check in? . Same when we are trying to leave: it took more than 15 minutes fir someone to come to close our bill….also has an apron, the same person that served us breakfast! You shouldn’t “wait” to pay, all by yourself in this beautiful room with no help…..in a hurry to go somewhere else🤔🤔🤔🤔

Really enjoyed our stay here . The restaurant and staff who served us were particularly good. Room was clean and tidy but lacked a seating area to make it perfect. Easy secure parking.

The restaurant was closed so no food and no alcohol. We were locked out at 2130 hrs after having to eat in a local restaurant. The night porter was HAVING DINNER OUTSIDE Somewhere and after about 15 minutes we finally got the door to open he still hadn’t come to let us in. In fairness the lady that checked us in and out was very helpful and good at her job. But everything else was distinctly average and we would not go back
