Die Dusche war außergewöhnlich🤩

Everything, really. Staff was lovely, the property was spotless in general and let me mention the bed and the shower. It was one of the best beds I’ve ever been in. SO so so comfortable and HUGE! Super king bed, I reckon. And the shower. Literally the best shower I had in my life, no exaggeration.
Also, wasn’t expecting anything for breakfast but there was some plain croissants, slices of bread, jams and butter, some fruits, milk and juice and a coffee machine.
4.7
Its a lovely guesthouse, very close to town, great room & great facilities with very lovely staff. Would definitely return! Thank you for a very comfortable stay.
Nothing, its a great place & I enjoyed my stay.
4.7
Good location, big room & spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee + continental breakfast available.
Nothing. Thought it was ideal for our two night stay for a wedding in killarney.
4.7
Big room, beds, and bathroom. Good croissants and other baked goods, coffee/tea, and fruits provided free of charge in the morning. Facility is newer and very clean, and the one-person staff is nice. Short walk to downtown area.
Note that the front desk is not always manned, as the receptionist also does other chores; so you should inform her of your estimated arrival time. Room cleaning is not provided unless you ask. These comments are meant to be informative and not negative opinion.

The shower was awesome, huge, and there was plenty of pressure and hot water. The location was a short walk to the main street and close to some good shopping and restaurants.

Todo en general y el trato en particular.

Our rooms were ready when we arrived. We were traveling with 2 other couples and our rooms were all located together.
Rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast items in the morning were just right.
Excellent location and value.
The hotel is not air conditioned but fans were available.

The Birches was a newly renovated building which was done to an excellent standard. Everything was new and modern and clean. The continental breakfast was better than average, It included bagels, rolls, cereal, yogourt and fruit. The location was terrific... within walking distance of the train station and a 5 minute walk to town and the National Forest. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
4.7
Great rooms - well decorated and impeccably clean
Extremely comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom
Plenty of wardrobe space
Beautiful breakfast room/ lounge area well stocked with teas/coffees and lovely breakfast selection in the morning.
Lovely hosts who are always available
I couldn’t fault anything
4.7
As we were not really expecting breakfast we were very pleasantly surprised by the provision of croissants, bagels, yoghurts, fruit and cereals together with tea, coffee and fruit juice in the residents' lounge. The room was well equipped and the shower was really powerful and lovely and hot. The location was excellent - literally a few hundred metres from the main town but in a lovely quiet area. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and very close to Ross Castle in the National Park and to Killarney House and Gardens - both of which are well worth a visit.
It was very hot in the bedroom even with the window open (it only opened a couple of inches) - there appeared to be an air conditioner switch in the room but it did not work. An additional shelf and hook in the bathroom would have been useful to hang clothes and to put our toiletries and toothbrushes.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Birches in Killarney with our 5 years old daughter for 2 nights, and it was a truly delightful experience. The ambiance was serene the room was immaculate, the staff (David & Monica) was great welcoming the breakfast room is lovely and self-serve you kind of feel at home, and everything about the place exuded charm and warmth. It's a gem in Killarney, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience. I can't wait to return! 10/10
Nothing I observed or I can think of my experience.

The location was perfect. So accessible to Killarney literally a five minute walk. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was sufficient. The shower head was awesome.
Our only critique was that some of the appliances in the kitchen were new to us so maybe some written instructions on how to use them might be helpful especially for those of us in the US.
4.7
They did not clean the room automatically- they said we should have put out a sign to clean ! 😂
The opposite to the rest of the world ! No sorry or anything

Monica who checked us in was quite pleasant and helpful with information. Free parking and location proximity to downtown Killarney.
Lugging three flight of stairs with two pieces of heavy luggage. The room was quite noisy with both inside and outside noises. This is a budget hotel with no air condition, safe, fridge or the usual amenities found in hotel with this level of pricing (had to request shampoo). Breakfast was quite limited.
4.7
Really friendly staff, very clean, very spacious room and big bathroom. Very modern and comfortable.

Everything
Traffic noise in early morning
4.7
It is just outside of the center of the town, but in walkable distance. The room is big enough to open both of our luggages and the bathroom is big enough. Both rooms are clean.
I wish each room has a hot water kettle, so I don't have to go to the public room to get one cup each time I need it. There was no real breakfast but a few pastries. We wish there was a shelf in the shower, so we can put our shower gel, shampoo and conditioner on the shelf when we had our showers.
4.7
Very clean, modern facility. Large rooms, good bathrooms. Very close to town center, yet far enough away not to hear the noise! With carparking too!
Finding out I couldn't book them for my next tour group, because they've been contracted by a major tour company for the whole year! 😓
4.7
Quiet. Clean. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

The owner was very helpful and the rooms/bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good... pastries, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea. The location was also really convenient and within easy walking distance of local restaurants.

This was definitely one of the most comfortable places we stayed in our 10 days in Ireland. The whole place was spotless and bed was by far the most comfortable and shower had best water pressure and again was spotless. Sad that we only had one night here. It was a Monday night and we could not hear any noise from others staying here. Very nice selection of breakfast items in the morning, and we would absolutely recommend this place! What a gem!

Modern room and building with exterior car parking for free. Well located, at 5 minutes walking distance from everything. Super clean, one of the best during our trip in Ireland. They also had a light breakfast available, self-service in a community space. A really nice surprise, totally recommend!
4.7
Flexible when flights were changed. They had a nice continental breakfast available with breads, croissants, scones and yogurt. Great location, easy walk to Killarney center. They gave great restaurant advice.
Perhaps add tissues to the room.

Nothing at all negative.
