Probably wouldn’t do it again and will be very cautious of any self check-in or airBnB arrangement

The room that was photographed and advertised and booked had a double bed and a view across to the Cathedral. But when I arrived this room was not available. No one was present at the property and it was a self-check in. I used instead a smaller room looking out on a busy road. I think this mishap would be worth offering me a discount as the room that I booked was not available to me

Passable

It was nice and quiet.

The shared toilet was disappointing, I traveled for work and I had to leave at a certain time, someone was using the shower and I had to wait 20 minutes. Apparently the you are not allowed to watch tv to avoid any noise. It’s a bit outdated.

Nice big room comfortable bed

No tv. No handbasin in room , had to use a communal bathroom shared between three double rooms on the floor below if wanting to wash hands or get water. It was not the proprietors fault but if you did not have car transport tge bus service was only 4 times a day ,non existent at weekends. Left after 2 nights at age 85 could not .put up with the constant need to go up and down to bathroomvery disappointing Certainly not a good choice for infirm or elderly visitors but in fairness I believe they have two single room on the ground floor

Pleasant

I liked the view out the window and Jennifer was a nice host

I was expecting a private room but it did not really feel private because the walls were really thin and the crack under the door was rather big, which resulted in me hearing the person in the room next to me snoring at night etc (just like in a shared bedroom) and I knew that she could hear everything I was doing as well. Furthermore the floor makes loud noises everytime the person in the other room stands up/walks…

whilst it was a late booking and not particularly expensive I still expected a little more interaction with the host. al

not a lot

room was tiny no kind of servicing of the room at all. glad we we’re only there 2 nights. ran a bath water was luke warm same as the shower

Good place for quick visit!

Excellent host, lovely room and good location. Worth a stay and would do so again.

Bathrooms did not lock which made me feel a little uncomfortable, but none the less was absolutely fine and had a good sleep.

Perfect central accommodation for a short stay

The room had amazing amenities; tea, coffee, kettle, towel, clothes hangers. Great main bathroom, comfy beds, plug sockets next to the bed and strong Wi-Fi.

The windows could’ve been cleaned a little more

it’s location was perfect for us and the price extremely reasonable. the property was clean well equipped. peaceful and very comfortable.

Disappointing

Location, hot shower.

the single room is tiny, likely a previous treatment room, with a folding bed with a soft mattress and little space. The garden view is through a dirty window over an unkempt garden and the meadows further off. Not sure when it was last vacuumed, dusted or cleaned of cobwebs. the whole house (it's a private house, although it was called Heart of Worcester when I booked) has the same untidy feel about it. In addition, it was an ice-box. There was an electric heater in the room, but the rest of the place was freezing, toilet and bathroom included. The shared toilet was not clean when I moved in and it was not cleaned during my 2-night stay, despite the welcome information in the room stating that it's checked daily. Cannot comment about the other rooms, but I would not recommend the single room.
