About this house rental
Jen's Beach house - a perfect location to take a holiday break right on the beach in Augusta...
This good old fashioned holiday home is situated right on the beach between Flinders bay and the Colour Patch. The house has a queen bedroom with ensuite, second bedroom a double bed and third bedroom 2 single beds. An open plan kitchen/ding/lounge area and a second bathroom and w/c. Walk out onto the north facing porch to sit and enjoy the view.
In winter whales playing in the bay are clearly visible as is the new Blackwood River mouth. The beach is only 50 metres away and it is also a lovely walk to the crystal clear waters. Walking is one of the joys of Augusta and the sealed footpath from the house into the town, the beach, and the delightful river foreshore is enchanting.
Whales are not the only attraction in Augusta, the local pod of dolphins are seen cruising the river and the beautiful grassed picnic area at The Colour Patch. The comfortable house is light, spacious, and very functional.

This property in Augusta was perfect for our family stay. Within a minutes walk from the beach, ocean view from the front veranda. The house was well presented and comfortable to use. We will be back. Thank you

Exactly as described, this is a typical holiday home - not fancy just the basics. One house from the beach. Very relaxing.

Nice but dated
The house had a lot of cobwebs inside the 2 single beds were very unstable the couches had boards under the seats to stop them sagging making them hard.the house is quiet dated as far as kitchen and bathrooms.
But I will say it was well equipped and a great location

Great location, house needs some work
This little house is in a wonderful location- it overlooks the beach and the front patio gives a wonderful vantage point.
Unfortunately our stay was made a little tricky by the fact we couldn’t park on any of the lawns (which was not outlined in the online listing), every bed creaks and groans from the slightest movement and are very uncomfortable. The fridge is so old- fresh vegetables and fruit did not stay fresh in their for long- its froze everything twice in our three week stay. Their are spiders everywhere.
The property agent was so easy to deal with but we wouldn’t book this house again without confirmation the beds had been replaced at the bare minimum.

Great get away
Explore Augusta is correct.
It's a great town with plenty of adventures to take part in, from climbing the tallest lighthouse in Australia to catching a vehicle ferry to Molloy Island, or watching the waves crash on the rocks or beaches.
We want to go back and try all the things we found but didn't have the time to do.

Great little place in amazing location
Absolutely loved our stay at Jen's Beach House. The fabulous location by the sea, and the great front patio was perfect for long lazy mornings and relaxing afternoons. The interior is a bit dated, but who cares? Ocean views, walking distance to a lovely local restaurant, just a couple on minutes drive into the town centre. Would recommend, and am looking forward to staying here again.
