Everything. Our daughter liked a big bathtub and feeding ducks in the lake.
Nothing at all

Beautiful location and facilities. Immaculately clean and fresh. Clive the owner very friendly and informative.

It was located in a delightful setting and very close to Hunstanton Golf Club, which was important to us. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was bright and airy and very comfortable with a good en-suite shower. There was free parking on the property and we had a good continental breakfast with plenty of choice.
Nothing.

Great place near beautiful seaside!
Parking is on premises just in front of the building.
The hotel manager is very pleasant and helpful person who provided all necessary information, assistance, directions, etc.
The rooms are big enough, beds are comfortable, sheets and towels are exceptionally clean. Room had tea/coffee and a TV to spend the late evening.
Breakfast was fulfilling and tasty and had a selection of cereals, fruits, eggs, pastries, jam, etc.
This is a renovated old pumping station building with a small pond with lots of hungry ducks who become friendly once you start feeding them with bread crumbs. These ducks can swallow any amount of food.
Higly recomment the place whether you are striving for the seaside recreation, golf or just having a break in your long journey.
Nothing really.

Fantastic location very close to the beach, excellent accommodation & rooms, very thoughtful service from the owner and a great continental breakfast with plenty of choice.
The fact it rained on the second day but hey ho thats the UK for you!

Lovely building and location , The lake was unique and loved the ducks
The paintwork was a little tired in our room.
Thought the breakfast room was too small for self service

The continental breakfast was good with a wide selection. The host was welcoming and informative. Information on local walks was appreciated.

A good sized, comfortable room with views over countryside. Unfortunately the owner (Clive) had just tested positive for Covid so was unable to provide breakfast, but we ate in local eateries and Clive refunded the cost of this. He kept in contact throughout to ensure everything was OK.
Nothing to dislike!

Beautifully done clean airy
Nothing it was great location

The location is beautiful within easy walking distance of places to eat and the beach. We booked a family room at extra cost which was huge - the windows overlooked the old pond ( refurbished and looking lovely).
The host allows gusts to come and go as they please , which is great.
A hot option for breakfast. Privacy blind at both sets of windows - the smaller window overlooks the terrace opposite directly and could do with an option between curtains closed and on view to all!. The lights were all on constantly overnight out in the hall - perhaps sensor lights should be explored.

We liked the location and the superb, peaceful view from room 4 (an excellent, large ‘family’ room). Host Clive was very hospitable. We enjoyed a good Continental breakfast each day.
We hope to return in the near future.

Modern build in old style. Very close to beach and country setting. very comfortable, clean and large room. Parking available on site. very good breakfast. Just a bit difficult to find as very small sign could do with a large sign closer to roadside.

I liked the fact there were no cooking smells! Many breakfast alternatives offered.
Good location, everything very convenient and local shop well stocked.
Given friendly, informative welcome by the host (Clive).
Enjoyed the added space of the garden attached to the room and large sitting room.
Very peaceful to watch the wildfowl on the pond. Spotlessly clean.
My husband was slightly disappointed it was a Continental breakfast but then we knew that before we went!
There were absolutely no other issues.

We loved our stay at Lakeside and Clive went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
We had a text when we were en route to let us know our room was ready early and he was there to greet us on arrival.
He then gave us a tour of the lovely house.
It was the pool table that sold it for us :)
The continental style breakfast was lovely.
We would definitely stay again.
Nada!

I enjoyed the breakfast plenty of choices

On arrival, we were greeted by the owner who is very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a tour and lots of information about the area and how we could find the local attractions. I especially liked the way he spoke to our two six-year-olds; he included them in the conversation and that means a lot to me, particularly as one of our sons has autism and so seeing the new environment and being spoken to will have helped him to settle in.
We stayed in room number four and it is amazing. The room itself is very spacious with lots of facilities. There’s two televisions - a smart TV and a (non-smart? Stupid?!) TV which we didn’t end up using really as we were more than happy to watch the ducks in the lake instead! The room has double doors with a Juliet balcony and the views are stunning. Our children adored watching the ducks, even over playing on their tablets if you can believe that!
The bathroom in this room was so amazing that I have arrived home incredibly disappointed at the prospect of having to go back to using my own bathroom. The bath is massive and comfortable. The room itself is huge - a definite bonus when you’re trying to wash the whole beach off two kids. The bathroom, as with the rest of the accommodation, was absolutely spotless. Lots of toiletries are provided and they smell lovely. Plenty of big, fluffy white towels were available.
The breakfast was really nice. Lots of options including pastries, toast and a choice of. accompaniments, many different kinds of cereal, fruit, yogurts, cheese - and many more. There’s fresh juice in the fridge and hot drinks are brought to you on request - we were offered a hot drink pretty much immediately after sitting down. The coffee was beautiful and served in a mini-cafetière which is a nice touch.
I didn’t get any mobile signal at all so the free WiFi was definitely useful.
I genuinely liked everything about our stay.

I would repeat all the positive comments made by previous reviewers.
Nothing to criticise. We were happy (and actually quite relieved!) not to have a cooked breakfast, the choice of fresh fruit was particularly good, and the breakfast room was beautifully presented. Perhaps some interesting bread rolls or baguettes would have been nice in addition to the sliced supermarket bread (provided for making toast, of course).

We had a great stay at the Lakeside. Beautiful property and surrounding. This is the best Bed & Breakfast we've ever stayed. Clive made us feel so welcomed. Room and other facilities are spotless. Location is perfect for us. It's not too far or too close to the main Hunstanton Town Centre. You can enjoy lovely walk to the Lighthouse and old Hunstanton Beach which we prefer and it only takes you less than 5 minutes to drive to busy part of Hunstanton. Check - in time is very reasonable at 13:00. Check - out time is at 10:30 which works out well with breakfast time. We will definitely return on our next visit to Hunstanton.
Maybe a bowl of salad to go with cold meat will be nice 😊

Fabulous B&B from start to finish. Arrived with my 2 granddaughters who loved the place, they've never stayed in a B&B so were excited. Clive welcomed us and was very helpful by giving us info of the area. The room was comfortable and the decor lovely. Breakfast was perfect, travelling with children can be tricky but there was something for everyone. Clive gave the girls bread each morning to feed the ducks in the lake, they loved that. Location was perfect, the beach very close by and a lovely old pub. Definitely will stay there again when in Hunstanton.
Absolutely nothing.

This was our second visit and this time we stayed for an extra night. Just like our first stay we couldn’t fault anything. We stayed upstairs this time in a room with a balcony and we had the most beautiful room with a view despite the weather! Clive is a wonderful host and nothing is ever too much trouble. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely peaceful location. Room was pretty, immaculately clean with a view across the fields and had everything we needed including a great range of instant drinks. Shower was also excellent. Breakfast was superb - fantastic choice to suit most tastes. The property and its lake and garden is just delightful and the host was extremely friendly and helpful - couldn't do enough to ensure we had a perfect stay. Would definitely recommend and return.
