Highly recommended

Angela was very welcoming and the perfect host. The accommodation was bigger than expected, over 2 floors and had everything we needed. Situated behind the owners home and it felt secure behind the electric gates, easy parking close to the front door of the property. A lovely continental breakfast provided to the room at a time to suit you. Thanks for a lovely stay Angela

Exceeded our expectations in every way.

We had an amazing stay at Old Croft Stables and would recommend it without any reservation. The property is absolutely beautiful outside and in and is furnished and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The host, Angela, could not have been more helpful and went out of her way to provide information and assistance. The breakfast was delicious.

Genuinely can't think of anything to improve our stay. Every detail was perfect.

Charming, friendly and helpful owner. Nice Georgian house. Apparemment very spacious and well decorated, full of books. Very quite. Nice view on a meadow. Good continental breakfast. Bed confortable. Sleeping room very spacious and bright. Pleasant local pub nearby. Easy parking on the premises.

Perfect Stay

This was a great place to stay. It was spacious, had all the facilities you would need and lovely views from the window. Our host was wonderful and extremely welcoming, and even brought us warm pastries in the morning. We would definitely return.

Excellent hospitality, nothing to dislike at all. Absolutely fabulous.

Angela was a fabulous host and couldnt be more accommodating. The decor and cleanliness of the property was outstanding. Felt very welcome and lucky to of found this wonderful accommodation for our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are in the area.

A home from home

Perfect location for visiting Kedleston Hall and Derby. Easy to find. Plenty of secure, off-road parking. Friendly owners. Huge apartment, homely & cosy. Very quiet. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast. Lovely local pub within 5 mins walk serving super food.

Stunning apartment and brilliant host

Our stay was brilliant and definitely exceeded expectations. The property is huge and beautifully decorated, and Angela was incredibly welcoming and helpful (she even ironed my boyfriend’s shirt for him!). We were attending a wedding at Kedleston Country House so the location was perfect for us.

Charming , comfortable and clean

Real character , felt luxurious . Our hostess was so welcoming and helpful but we had complete privacy .

The main bathroom was accessed through the second bedroom . There was a separate toilet but downstairs. No cooking facility just a kettle

A great find!

Absolutely love this property. Everything about this place was great, lovely setting in the countryside with great views, very quiet and pretty as a picture. From the minute we got there and were greeted by Angela, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Very spacious and clean with a lovely breakfast in the morning. And very good value for money and definitely worth a visit.

There was nothing to dislike with this property, just perfect.

A must stay, will most definitely be returning and looking forward to it. Highly recommend.

Everything about the Old Croft Stables was outstanding. I couldn't give one bad mark on it. The owner of the apartment was so lovely and couldn't do enough for you, the apartment itself was beautiful. Even down to feeling secure with electric gates to the drive of the apartment.

Loved everything about our stay at Old Croft Stables. Wished we could have stayed longer.

gorgeous place, lovely hosts and will definitely be back

So amazingly stylish, full of quirky objects d’art, books and movie posters. all put together with such an eye for detail. We loved it!!

Comfortable, cosy home from home, will definitely revisit if in the area again!

Really cosy and comfortable home from home. Breakfast was a lovely bonus. I can't believe how good value the accommodation was compared to a city hotel and much much nicer to stay in for a wedding nearby. Angela was a great host.
