Loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Absolutley loved our stay here! So friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room and a lovely place. We were close to everything we wanted.

Chic and elegant stay in the center of Loule

The location. It is spotless clean and has a sense of old style elegance but with a modern twist. Breakfast brought to the room what a treat. Amazing staff.

The pillows were the only thing I could fault and this is a personal taste not an issue of the hotel. I don’t like memory foam pillows I find them super uncomfortable.

Loved our stay! Will be coming back!

Loved the stay in Loulé at downtown Loulé. The communication with the hotel was great and the rooms were really nice, each one with their theme. The location was central and we managed to find amazing places to eat in Loulé and it was a good place to stay because we also wanted to visit the wine yard “Quinta da tôr” which was nearby. If you have the chance, take the opportunity to take a few days from the coast and go up to the mountains and visit Loulé.

The only thing was that the bathroom was not completely separate and did not have a door. Otherwise everything was perfect

Toilet was not clean from the former guests. There was no notice during the booking process that the only window is to the hallway.

Comfortable, clean room with friendly, helpful staff.

Breakfast was simple but good value. Liked the pantry area where you could get water, teas and coffee for free.

The entrance is a bit difficult to find. Very discreet to the point of missing it. More clear instructions would be helpful. The stairs were fine for me with hand luggage but could be an issue for someone with mobility problems or heavy luggage.

Really good place to stay in a lovely town.

Location was great in the middle of the town and parking was easy enough on the street. Bed was very comfortable with high qualty bedding. Breakfast served in the room was really good.

The bathroom was very open plan, which is fine if travelling alone. The different floor levels around the entrance to the room; the bedroom area and the bathroom area were a bit challenging, not easy to see the changes in level especially when just woken up!

Great location right in the centre of Loule. Parking on the street, but it was no problem. Our room didn't have much of a view, but a nice little balcony to sit out on. Also great to have a kitchen where you can make coffee/tea or a snack if needed.

We had such a comfortable night’s sleep here and would absolutely choose Downtown Louie again!

There was a lot to like about this boutique hotel. First of all, the location was great! Just a block from the main Mercado and so close to lots of little shops, cafes and restaurants. Great! As for the room itself, the bed was so comfortable. It was a supportive memory foam mattress with extremely comfortable bedding. In fact, I asked where I could get one of the comforters used on the bed, I loved it so much! Not only was the bed and bedding comfy, but so were the pillows. A win-win-win in comfort!

Just be aware that the hotel is up two flights of roughly 20 stairs each, with no elevator. So, don’t bring a heavy bag. Also, the shower for our room was on the wall around the claw foot tub. There was a curtain on only one side of the tub. We asked about this and we’re told the water could go onto the floor and we were given an extra towel. But I’m not sure that’s the best, since the water really didn’t seem to drain anywhere. It’s a lovely setup though - just a little stressful if you’re trying not to damage property.

Friendly staff, quiet property and comfortable room.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the shower is amazing. All new, clean and comfortable.

The floor in the shower was a bit slippery and the staff was very understanding when I provided feedback about this and said they would look into it.

Visiting Loulé

Location superb in the city centre close to the old city. Walk about 10 minutes to the bus station and to the city pools. Many restaurants and other shops and market in the area. The room was modern with bed and bathroom separated only by a glass. The room had only a window to the internal building stairs. It was quiet at night. Good wifi. The guesthouse is in the 2nd floor with no lift.

I think it's a bit expensive. Breakfast not included at the price of 10 €, I didn't have it.

Pleasant stay, lovely room, peace and quiet

Bruno is a gentleman, very helpful, pleasure to meet! Fantastic location, lovely, tastefully finished room. Clean and beautiful bathroom. Peace and quiet, perfect rest after busy day. Private and secure!

One free socket for charging in the room, additional one in the bathroom only. Breakfast fresh but limited and could be improved. Otherwise everything was great 👍

Comfort and character in central Loulé

Lovely room in a quirky old building. Super clean and comfortable with charming staff.

The hotel is on the second floor without a lift. No problem for us but worth noting.

This small hotel was lovely and rooms were modern and beds top quality. Breakfast room was well stacked with all pastries, Plenty drinks, coffee & tea

There's no elevator in the property which is a little difficult if you are on the top floor.

Convenient stay and nice change from regular hotels

Warm welcome by friendly host. Located in de centre of Loulé - close to the market - it is a perfect spot to explore the town. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. Nice breakfast served in the room and shared coffee- and tea facilities in a small pantry.

It is a bit difficult to find the entrance to the property, where the rooms are on the top floor of a shared building (there is a clinic on the other floor).
