Beautiful setting on the golf course. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was terrible. Water was green and furniture could use updating. Quiet neighborhood with respectful neighbors. Overall resort feel made the stay very nice. Easy accessibility to amenities golf, bike rental etc.

Great house and location for the Convention we attended at Wild Dunes. The fitted sheet on one of the beds wasn't fitted and caused fits during the night. The mattress in the other bedroom needs to be replaced. Too many springs. House was comfortable & met all our needs to a T.

This house was perfect for our guys annual Golf and Oyster Festival weekend. Great quite location overlooking the 5th green on the Links course. The price was cheaper than other comparable homes in the area too. We arrived on the island after 9 pm and were able to get the check in information from the mailbox as explained by Vacasa along with our parking pass to enter the Wild Dunes Resort gate. Short walk to the beach, less than 5 mins to the public access. Overall no issues and would stay here again.

We went to Charleston to deliver Christmas presents to our grandkids. Pelican Bay 42 was perfect for our trip. Family came to us one night and the place was large enough for us to have a game night, and plenty of bedrooms.

The property was just as advertised, very clean and organized. However I will not be going thru Vacasa again. I booked thru them in September and the second weekend in December, and never had an issue. This time after I booked this house I get an email to ID myself, so I went thru it but it wouldn't work. So the next day it said it canceled my reservation. I tried to get a hold of someone at Vacasa, which that took almost an hour to do. The guy on the phone said it was canceled but the lady on the email said it wasn't. We get to the office to get our envelope to get into the house, and all 11 other envelopes had the code to get into their homes except ours. Since the office was closed do to the holiday, I get back on the phone. Luckily somebody was headed in the office and she finally came out with our codes. It took her awhile. I don't get the ID part, I've never done that with any other place I booked with. Once you make reservations and they take it out of your credit card and send a confirmation why do I need to ID myself. My name on the reservations and my credit card where the same name. So no more Vacasa for me.

It was a nice place and very comfortable. We did not realize it was in an area of mostly vacation rentals, but fine. Very quiet and a 5-minute walk to the beach. Nice bike path around the area.
There were 2 things I thought could be improved upon and that is to have a few spices in the cabinets and some aluminum and plastic wrap. My big complaint was that my bedroom windows were the only ones in the entire house without blinds where someone could see into the bedroom day and night (as there was a house next door with 4 windows looking into the bedroom). The owners need to install solid drapes.

We loved this home and location. So glad we chose to avoid the Charleston hotels, and get a a wonder, roomy home instead. Watched people putt on the golf course while sipping coffee on the screened porch, then walked the beach! Wonderful! Be sure to visit Sullivan Island for meals.

We enjoyed our stay! There were 4 of us and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and the screen porch was delightful!

The neighborhood pool was disappointing though. It did t feel clean, and the water in the pool was so cloudy that you couldn’t see to the bottom. Sadly, we did not use the pool all week for that reason.

We had a good time at pelican bay 42. The house is in a good location for short walks to the beach and the view out the back porch over the golf course is nice in the evenings and very relaxing. The beds and bedding are fine but could be updated. Same for some curtains as they aren’t adjustable and don’t allow for light to enter two bedrooms. Warning that the driveway is also a little steep and with no street parking required our minivan to be very careful entering and exiting to avoid scraping. Checking in and checking out was easy with Vacasa.

Nice place to stay while we attended a family wedding. Easy access to beach and other areas of interest.

Place is great in many ways (access to beach, quiet) stayed in same area previous time. Unit is equipped with pretty much all you need except with one thing...comfortable beds, was pretty firm to sleep on to the point of uncomfortable.

Spotless house, well equipped. Loved the coffee, starter packs of dishwasher detergent, soap etc…the only complaint is that the linens/mattresses/pillows were pretty dreadful. Those could use an update for sure! Or bring your own and maybe that would help?

What a great place in Wild Dunes. Just across the street from the Beach House and so convenient to the Beach. Have no hesitation, this property is maintained to perfection with the kitchen & dinning area all wide open,,,,very nice!
ENJOY, WE DID!!

nice place, fairly clean on the surface but needs a complete cleaning including behind furniture, under beds, wipe baseboards, etc. These homes are not inexpensive to rent, so I personally expect more. Overall a good experience.

Great location, great time!
The kitchen had everything you could want to cook/eat but it would be nice to have a cupboard maybe in the kitchen closet to store our food. Exceptionally clean and loved the screened in back porch. Needed more wash rags and dish rags, but the towels, complimentary personal items, and laundry/dishwasher were great! Would like to have seen TV info and complete checkout procedures laid out. Isle of Palms is beautiful and this neighborhood was great.

Would not stay here Again
The unit need to be updated. Smelled like mildew when we entered and we had to air out the house when we got there. Television was almost unwatchable, beds and pillows uncomfortable. Carpets were worn along with most of the other furnishings.

Very happy with property. Remote from traffic, yet close to beach for walking. Property was as advertised. Very bright and by golf course. Only 2 of us and had one family member visit for one weekend as well. Would choose this place again.

Negative / Vacasa failed in communication
The check in process was terrible. The staff at Vacasa was the absolute most unprofessional rental company I have ever utilized. The communication regarding to check in process did not exist. No pool foods were issued and the email sent from their manager provided no response from my email complaint. I will most likely not use VRBO in future rentals after my horrible experience. Best regards.

Beautiful, Clean, Relaxing........Fantastic Home!
Everything you could ask for in a vacation home. Throw your beach chairs and golf clubs in the car, pack some shorts and a bathing suit, and get ready to relax! The pool and beach are a short walk away and the screened in back porch is a wonderful oasis for reading or just watching the golfers. Close to Charleston and GREAT Antique and consignment shopping!

Pelican Bay 42
Great resort home inside Wild Dunes!
Very easy walk to the beach! The green for #5 on the Links course just a few steps from the screened porch.
The home looks great in the photos but it is small. 3 double beds total and the rooms are very small so I suggest no more than 4 people max in this home.

Girls' Weekend
Cute house near the beach--great fit for our group of 4 friends. Spent a long weekend there celebrating our 50th birthdays. The house was perfect fit for us. Just a short walk to the beach. Community was very quiet. Only complaint was the checkin process was not clear, but we did figure it out and got in the house. Had a great time!
