Good lord. The layout of this house is excellent. Was very hard to tell from photos but the master is on it’s own wing while the doubles and queen are on another wing. Huge windows in the living room host an incredible view of the marsh. The porch is amazing-found ourselves using it more than any other room of the house. Saw dolphins late in the afternoon-tons of egrets and herons. Minor problems but Vacasa was quick to help. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great house and location!
Thank you!

Great location with a short few minute drive to store, restaurants and less than a 10 minute walk to the ocean.
The view from inside the family room and back patio was amazing.
I would definitely stay recommend this home!

This house had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and private. The views are beautiful and plenty of amenities.

Enjoyed our Easter weekend in this home. Great place.

The house is very comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are big and updated. Easy walk to beach and views of the Kiawah River change everyday!

Loved the views of the marsh from the living room and the screened in porch was a haven for our girls weekend starting the day with coffee and ending it with wine and cheese, lovely indeed!
4.4
Beautiful location on the marsh with large windows to enjoy.
Check in was delayed twice (late notification), AC was broken for 1st evening and most of 2nd day (93 degree temps). Inside was nice and clean but outside (front and back) could definitely have done with a good clean.

There is a wonderful view of the river from the living room and master bedroom. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Quiet and peaceful!

We came for quiet serenity for a writers retreat. The house was beautiful, well equipped for all our needs and more.
The scenery from the great room was mesmeric. We did not use the sunroom as it was chilly but I think in the spring summer and fall that would be a lovely place to hangout with the white wicker and even a table for tea.
Overall we would definitely recommend this house for a family retreat or a friends vacay.
We loved it!!!

A mom with three teens doing a working vacation. This location had all the space we needed. I only gave it a 4 star review because the hot water was not working at a 100%. If you are wanting to know if it looks like the pics. NO, it looks better! We will be back.

The view is beautiful. However the house is dated for the cost. Needs updating.

Vrbo was not much help in resolving the issues. They refer you to Vacassa. Vacassa does not answer the phone in the US, you get someone in a 3rd world county cannot make a decision. I would avoid Vacassa properties.

This home provided exactly the environment we wanted for our girls’ getaway. The views out on the back porch and the screened-in porch were amazing and so incredibly peaceful. We loved sitting out there with our coffee or glass of wine and visiting. The area was beautiful and very safe. We did NOT mind the 40 minute drive into Charleston at all. I would warn any future guests that if you are susceptible to mosquitoes you’ll want to bring some bug spray because they or the “noseeums” were pretty brutal and I was eaten up by the end of the stay. But I didn’t bring bug spray and knowing that we were staying on a marsh, I should have. That was the only downside. The communication and instructions made it all very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location. Major ant and roach problem in kitchen. Had to spray nightly. Ants all over counter tops. A/C in Master bed and bath did not stay cool.

Wonderful stay. Would highly recommend. Used to care only about the beach but now I realize a waterfront marsh/river view is even better. The sights and sounds of wildlife, including dolphins passing through daily, along with the every changing landscape of marsh tides, make every waking moment in the home an enjoyable one. Screen in porch and spacious open deck are key, and wall to wall windows are key. The home is very comfortable and up to date enough, though those looking for totally upscale and brand new may be slightly disappointed. Hardwood in main area is old, but I don't look at that as a problem--after all, people are coming in from the beach and so new pristine flooring wouldn't make much sense. However, bedrooms and bathrooms were very up to date and master bathroom especially new, expansive and well appointed--with view of marsh to boot! I felt like it was just right. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining. Even had an electric tea kettle. Also loved the access to extra boogie boards and carts and the outdoor water source to shower off. We had already purchased a pull cart with hitch to bike our stuff to the beach, but perhaps the carts they provided would have worked for that. Only about a 5 min ride to the boardwalk. Also location has easy access to shaded bike/walking trails, but even running along the neighborhood roads was pleasant with all the trees, lagoons, and wildlife. Check out the Marsh View Tower very nearby and the trails that extend from there.

My wife and her identical twin turned 60, and their sister also shared the same birthday. We all stayed in the house on the very interesting marsh side on the perfect spot. Things are always changing with the tide in and dolphins feeding, and the tide out and other critters eating. Days were filled with riding bikes on the shaded bike path out to the ocean course or the other way to Freshfields. Or biking directly across the island to the most perfect beach access. Nights included cooking in or going for dinner and drinks in Charleston, one of the best cities in the country! Utopia.

The layout of the house is nice with lots of living area. The MBR is in a separate part of the house from the other 2 bedrooms; that is a nice feature. The screened porch is wonderful with awesome views. The kitchen is well stocked too. It was a wonderful getaway!

The house was perfect for Easter with our adult kids. Everyone had their own en suite bath. The kitchen is well equipped making meal prep so easy. But the best was the panoramic marsh views!

Great for our family Thanksgiving vacation. Used the new grill to make burgers. House is well-located, 30 minute bike ride to Freshfields and 10 minutes to the park. Kids loved biking and exploring the marsh tower at the end of the street.

I booked this house for a family vacation to the beach at Kiawah Island, SC. The house was spacious enough for the 5 of us and could have slept 1-3 more comfortably. The back deck had panoramic views of the marsh which were fantastic and the high point of the house. I docked this rental 1 star due to the beach accessibility. There are multiple boardwalks on Kiawah island but they don't really have parking available. The house is just far enough that it would be a pain to carry all of beach gear (chairs, umbrella, cooler). We ended up having one person drop everyone off with our beach equipment at boardwalk 10 and then take a bike back to the beach. Not a big deal but in the future we would likely book a house that's closer to the beach. Recommend the spa at the sanctuary as well as dinner/drinks at the ocean course (Ryder Cup bar or Atlantic Room).

It was a great location -- on the marsh, near the beach, close to shopping, and just 30 minutes to Charleston -- and all that city has to offer.

We spent 6 nights in this roomy house for a family reunion and it was perfect for our needs. There is ample space for everyone to stretch out, abundant light pouring in from the large windows, and amazing views of the Kiawah River and marshes. The kitchen is well-equipped and the screened-in porch is delightful. We received timely communication from Vacasa and all worked out very well. We highly recommend this house!
