Le décor, la piscine le personnel
La literie, la baignoire, loin d’être à la hauteur du tarif demandé…

The pool area was great
No air con in teh dining room, jacuzzi did not work. And the bathroom jazuzzi filled with water but never drained. The guests had to stand in stale water for three days.

Very nice property off of Marrakesh. The villa was spectacular. Yet what made our stay nice was the top notch service by Hamouda and Bouchra who took our experience beyond the extra step. Highly recommend staying here.

Sehr gute geschmackvolle neue Ausstattung.

Some of the staff were very nice and tried to be helpful : the young Mustapha (not the responsable) and Sofiane were very kind and helpful compared to the rest of the employees.
Instead of the 5-star hotel we had hoped for, we found a business that could not even begin to meet these criteria in terms of facilities or service. The staff, while visibly trying, were at a loss due to the apparent lack of training and professional leadership.
The food is awful and expensive; We payed 88e for 4 miserable plats that they called tajine;
The hotel is approximately 15km from Marrakech city center instead of the 11 km stated on booking.com. From the asphalted main road, two approx. 1 km long mud tracks lead to the hotel. Due to this secluded location, one is dependent on the taxi services of the hotel.
The price of taxi services of the hotel is 50 euros to go to the city and come back. Compared to 200-300 euros when you take a taxi by your own in the city; The hotel is clearly taking a nice commission here.
So if you reserve one week at the hotel, assuming you go only once in the city (which is not frequent), you need to consider paying 350 euros just in taxi services of the hotel. This is something to think about before making reservation.
The internet was almost inexistant in the room (we were in room 6);
We had a cut of electricity and water, when I was taking a shower; I had to clean my self with a bottle of water.
The food is awful; We are used to morrocan cooking as we have moroccan roots; the 4 "tajins" we ate were a disgrace to moroccan food; On top of this, they asked 88 euros for it, when the actual price was 40 euros; They barely apologised for their mistake; A computer mistake according to them...
As mentioned earlier : Only 2 persons gave us full satisfaction : young Mustapha (not the responsable) and Sofiane; Rest of the employee should take example;

Breakfast was excellent, the villa was very spacious, private and comfortable. The private chef experience at the villa was wonderful. The grounds were very beautiful

Limited amenities outside of the pool, slow bar/restaurant service

It was excellent stay with good decorated high standard of room, linens and towels are very clean, aminities are good quality, very friendly staff.
It is not bad but I have to say the road conditions near by property like 1 km is average only

- Calm and tranquility is amazing to have when away from the streets of Marrakesh.
- We were upgraded to a private pool villa for free.
- The garden was beautiful and brings peace of mind.
- The streets that lead to the resort are not paved.
- The interior design and amenities of the villas do not deserve a 5 star rating.
- From the wet outer walls, I can tell that the villas have major water leakage issues.

We loved the view from our room, you could see the Atlas Mountains from your room. The neighborhood was also very peaceful. Although the breakfast and diner was disappointing, we did like the staff that was quite friendly
the pool was icecold (about 14 degrees I think). On Booking it said that it would be 23 degrees. Unfortunately, even though the weather was great, the pool was cold. You could not swim for more than a couple of minutes. When we asked to heat it, they said that they would start the heating in a couple of weeks
The diner was expensive (if you compare it to a good restaurant in the city of Marrakech); and the portions were very small. We both lost weight. For example: if you ordered a chicken tajine, you got 1 small chicken breast and that was it
It was very far from the city centre (about half an hour). You would think that there is a shuttle, but there isn't (even when on the phone, they tell you that there is a shuttle). It cost about 40 euro's to go and to go back.
They have their own taxi driver tho, and when you want to go to the airport (which normally costs about 20 euros), they want you to pay double (so book a taxi beforehand)
the breakfast was limited, except for the last day (what a coincidence)
the wellness was not for free and was double the price if you compare it to Marrakech
the matrasses were hard

Staff very friendly and helpful. The general manager, Mustapha, dealt with any queries very quickly. Very comfortable and clean room. The spa is amazing. Swimming pool relaxing and lovely shady areas in the gardens. Day trips organised into Marrakesh and the Atlas Mountains - which was a fantastic experience.

Perfect place to relax. Super friendly staff. Beautiful views and property. We slept very well with comfortable beds. The air con was working as expected. Hot water available. Great airport transfer.
If I have to point out something, I would like to have more options for breakfast as it was a bit limited.

Fay and I visit Marrakech each year and have enjoyed excellent hospitality at a broad selection of glam establishments in our time.
This year we're celebrating our 50th birthdays and wanted a private pool villa but with access to full hotel facilities. In short, no cooking, no cleaning.
I was overjoyed to discover this fabulous gem just 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the souks and so got in touch with the GM Mustapha Amalik. I knew immediately that I had found the right property for us.
Atlas Widan is a small boutique hotel with just 19 rooms and two pool villas. The love and attention to detail that has gone into the refurbishment of this establishment is second to none. Mustapha has curated a team of highly skilled individuals, each of whom quite obviously care deeply about the customer experience. The fact that 70% of the staff are fro the local village fills me with love.
We stayed in the two bedroom villa which comes with acres of well established gardens and lots of privacy as well as a huge pool. The chef was excellent and we dined like Queens throughout.
We have already decided to book for our trip next year and I am in discussions with Mustapha about hosting a small but perfectly formed work retreat here next November.

Wonderful facilities, gorgeous, quiet, peaceful.
Amazing staff. Special thanks to Simu for the happiness and all the funny jokes. And to Abd Hadi for thé early breakfast (6AM!!) and all the thoughtful attentions.
Being in a quiet place is a trade-off. therefore the city is a little bit far away.

A little far from the city but with a beautiful garden and stunning views of the snow capped Atlas Mountains. Exceptionally attentive staff
The Wi-Fi comes and goes in the rooms. Only one area of the hotel where it is constantly reliable

It was a beautiful property with gorgeous views of the mountain. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. This is a lovely hotel for a retreat from the city.

Very nice looking building and excellent pool area
The Hotel generally was cold, it was evident that the Hotel opened too early after the lifting of covid restrictions. The staff were not up to speed and needed training. The Hotel owner was very apoligetic and tried to put things right. We wish them well with their recovery from the pandemic.

Everything was perfect!
The meal was delicious.
The staff was helpful and welcoming.
The villa met exactly our expectations, maybe more.
For the price, it's an awesome adress, we all liked our trip in Marrakech
The two only things maybe was the distance with the center of marrakech.
And the bed for europeans people who have the habits to sleep on softer mattresses.

This place is amazing. Authentic Moroccan style and food. Perfect place for a relaxing get away. The service was outstanding. It is set in Beautiful grounds.. which adds to the ambience. Definitely give this place a try as I will be definitely returning the next time I’m in Morocco.
Thanks Mustapha and the team for making my birthday such a good one.
Nothing. It truly is a gem.

The staff, the facilities, the location, the food, EVERYTHING is just perfect. Moustapha went out of his way to accommodate us and made us feel so welcome. The free upgrade was amazing! The food is delicious and authentic Moroccan, and is served to you on your private terrace. You are made to feel so welcome! Thank you again. We never want to leave!
Nothing, this property has it all!

Very warm welcome. In these unfortunate covid times the place was a bit empty, which actually worked in our favour, as the owner was kind enough to upgrade us to a private villa.
the place is calm, new and beautiful...once the world is back to normal, this will be a precious little haven of peace near Kech
All good

Very nice property just outside Marrakesh. It takes 20-25 minutes to get to the city center. Huge gardens with amazing traditional Moroccan architecture and unique decoration. We were very pleased. We got upgraded by the owner as a courtesy from a standard room to an executive villa with private pool. We could not ask for more. The staff was friendly and ready to serve. The food was delicious and good menu variety. Everything about our stay was perfect! I totally recommend to couples. We will go back for sure. Also there is an amazing view from rooftop of main building!
Nothing!
