Unkempt outside yard appearance—infested with flies inside the house, poorly screened porch area, lacked maintenance/repair on screen door.

This property was great. We really enjoyed the lay out for our family. It was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well organized. Super close to the beach and the pool was very quiet and well kept. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay. Place was great for 5 women. Only complaint is lock code was too long. Never could remember it. It also gave us allot of issues. Some times it took us 4-5 tries.
We are looking to stay there again next year on our girls annual trip

The villa was comfortable. Great location. Minutes from the beach. Close drive to Charlestown. Wild dunes harbor course in great shape and fun to play. In the area again would definitely rent same villa.

We were there for the weekend and it rained…. Condo was fine for hanging out and catching up

We contacted Vacasa within an hour after arriving and FOUR different times within first 24 hrs of stay to let them know our toilet was missing a part & didn't work. Kitchen sink was backed up w food/water entire stay. Maintenance NEVER came. Couldn't use kitchen sink. Forced to spend hundreds of dollars eating all meals out. Kitchen smelled from backup. Vacasa promised maintenance would arrive within hour. No call, no maintenance. Called back FOUR times. Promised would be fixed in morning. At checkout Vacasa said "we have no maintenance working weekends and your plumbing issues were not considered urgent, so sorry" We spent over a thousand dollars for 3 nights. Never again

Our family of four enjoyed the spaciousness and convenience of the condo. We could walk to the beach or pool and made quick drives to IOP restaurants in just minutes. The kitchen was well organized with labels and offered newer appliances. The laundry room was right by the entry door and made clean up after the beach easy. We didn't have any neighbors while there, so no noise complaints either.

Property was nicely decorated and roomy. Bedrooms were larger than many that barely seem to have room for furniture. Had some books and games for kids. TVs in bedrooms. Floor plan was good. However it is a three level with kitchen/LR on on top floor so bringing in lots of groceries required multiple steps. There are also about 4 steps to get into first floor of unit. We love Wild Dunes locations because of neighborhood vibe. Safe. Friendly. Pool was good and included shallow pool for toddlers. Kitchen/TV area is large and open. Lots of cabinets. Screened porch and three open balconies were great and allowed for some personal down time away from others. Large screen tv in LR. Couches were comfy. Beds were good. Baths were very nice. It’s not real close to the beach—more than a few blocks. We rented a golf cart which gave us speedier beach access and also enjoyed driving around each evening. Two overflowing trash bins were not emptied from prior occupants so we had to wait 2-3 days for someone to come empty those. We also had to buy our own kitchen trash bags and extra paper products as there weren’t extras. Vacasa was great to keep in touch with us and made check in and out very easy. Would definitely stay there again. We had 3 adults and three children under 4 that stayed for the week. Also, there’s no better beach than IOP!!

Great spot on a great resort. Close to the beach, close to pools, and close to golf. The house was clean and everything worked. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back

Very good except for the performance of the dishwasher. Also, when someone is staying for a month, you may want to consider having the cleaners visit at least once. Decor is a little worn and dated.

Clean and comfortable home on IOP within walking distance to the beach and on a golf course. 2nd time renting this condo and would definitely repeat.

Overall a very nice unit located near the beach access. However, there was no indication in the listing that there would be no garage access nor was there 1 ceiling fan in the entire unit. We rent every year and have never experienced a locked garage, this greatly reduced storage. Ceiling fans, or lack there of, should be listed as that impacts the thermostat setting and overall comfort level day and night.

Perfect for a girls trip. Lots of stairs if they are a problem for traveler.

The villa location was convenient to the beach and bike path. Our villa was to come with access to tennis courts and swimming pool. We picked the unit to have access to tennis. The tennis courts were unusable and didn't look like they had been maintained in months. When I contacted Vacasa about this, I was told we could call the local rec center off site to use their court. No effort was made to make accommodation at one of the many courts within the resort. Vacasa needs to actively get out of the office and check facilities of the properties they represent.

We loved this place and would definitely go back! Plenty of space for our family of 4 and I liked being on different levels. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the screened in porch. Short walk to the beach and pool. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quieter beach vacation. Right on the golf course but we didn’t use it.

Conveniently located to the beach. Comfy accommodations for the 5 of us. Could definitely use some paint touch up in some areas. We’ll stay there again some time.

I have rented this house more than 5 times...I've lost count. We enjoy the house and the proximity to the beach. My children rent Fairway Dunes 5 so we get to spend a lot of time together. I'd like to book these 2 houses every year is there anyway we can be assured of that knowing we can only book for the week the 4th of July falls on. One little complaint about the house is the pots and especially the pans need serious updating. And the top cover in the master bedroom should be replaced. It's been there for as long as I can remember.

Good Location
Our family stayed here during Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. There is a short walk to the beach and plenty of space to walk and ride rental bikes. The townhouse was clean and we discussed returning another time in the future.

We enjoyed the visit. The layout of the unit was a bit unusual but not a big deal.
Very nice unit except for unusual layout with kitchen and living room upstairs and bedrooms right off entry foyer.

Can’t wait to come back!
We had the best time!!! The property was perfect for our family. We have 4 children ages 1-11 and the location to the pool & beach couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved riding bikes around the resort, playing board games provided by the property, and we loved the relaxing atmosphere of the townhome & Wild Dunes. We were so sad to leave! We are looking at booking again & having a longer stay. Spent the car ride home planning our next trip! Thank you for making your property available for rent. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Great location
Location was closer to beach than we anticipated which made our stay very enjoyable. The king size bed was super comfortable. The couches, dining table and chairs could use some updating. There were wasp nests on the decks and several people in our party have a bee sensitivity so we did not use the decks as much as we would have liked. Once we reported the issue though a person promptly sprayed the nests. Overall our stay was very enjoyable.

Walking distance to beach
We enjoyed our stay and really liked the short walk to the beach and pool. Kitchen could use some things if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking but otherwise great property and stay!

Great location
Loved staying here for almost three weeks. I had visitors in and out all three weeks. Dishwasher needs work and part was ordered I think, but not repaired during my stay. Had to wash dishes each day but not all meals were eaten at condo thank goodness. Love Wild Dunes and surrounding areas on IoP.

Layout of the house just right
Kitchen was a favorite room on the second story which had a lovely view of palm trees. Stayed as a family with 3 kids plus grandparents. We walked to the beach with the kids, even carrying our 1 year old. Shopped at Harris Teeter 12 minutes away. Plenty of breakfast/lunch places to eat. Evening restaurants tended to mean a longer drive (30-40 minutes) for our family and affordable options. Quite clean I thought!

Perfect for a girls getaway!
Three of my friends and I stayed at this property over the weekend for a church virtual conference. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was also lovely-lots of trails, sidewalks and beach access close by! We were able to easily go into Mt. Pleasant for dinner one night (lots of great options) but also spend a lot of time in the condo. We also enjoyed chatting with your semi-famous neighbor!!

Quiet and clean
Although we weren’t on the beach, we were close enough to hear the waves. Especially at night. And you can get a glimpse of the ocean from the kitchen window . It felt very private, there’s a big tree behind the condo. Thank you.

Great property!
We had an amazing time staying in this property. It was very clean and cozy. Steps from the beach and in a great community. Twin bedroom and king bedroom on on the main level when waking in and then 5 steps up to the queen bedroom and about 10 steps up to the kitchen/living room.

Lovely place, not clean, needs some repairs
We have stayed here before and love the location. It was not clean, however. The draperies in the master bedroom fell, revealing multiple holes where someone has tried to re-hang the rod. Small area rugs were in need of cleaning, and more thorough vacuuming needed (under beds and dressers especially where there was trash). Kitchen floor needed to be cleaned as well as countertops. Dirty dishes.

#3 Fairway Dunes
We have taken the family to Wild Dunes for over 10 years now. As the family grew in size we moved to different locations. Now we are in2houses in Fairway Dunes. We have rented #3 for a few times now and enjoy the house.

June 2020
A very convenient location near the beach, but quiet and allows some privacy with a tree in front of the porch. We like the layout with enough space for everyone and the convenience of a laundry room and some other spaces to keep the beach gear. There are some steps and the driveway is elevated but it was not a problem for us at all. Vacasa's office at Isle of Palms was very helpful and quick in responding to some minor issues. We enjoyed our stay!

Blissful vacation
Clean, well appointed, roomy home is right across the street from the beach. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the 3 decks and screened porch. The resort is beautiful with nicely landscaped paths to the beach and lots of walking/biking paths. We rented bikes from the resort for $40 for 3 days (other options available.)
We stayed during coronavirus pandemic during phase 2 of reopening so the pool was closed understandably but the beach was very nice and not crowded at all, even on Memorial Day weekend. Tours in Charleston were not running but a lot of restaurants had patio or spaced out seating inside - we called ahead and made some reservations. Groceries stores were stocked and not crowded. The condo was very clean and we felt at ease.
The only thing that we were not aware of from the pictures is the number of stairS the house has - it is a tri-level and there were also stairs going up to the front door. It was a lot of stairs for my in-laws but they managed. Not necessarily a bad thing but a factor for some when choosing what to rent.
It truly was one of the nicest condos we have rented and we would love to rent this condo again!
