Spacious and bright

Spacious home with great outdoor areas and two living spaces! Ideal for families looking for an open and light filled house near the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The house is nicely styled with a beach house look and the furniture is comfy. A great place to relax!

One of the bedrooms has an open roof to the living room. Not a huge problem for us but it does let a lot of light in the early morning.

a most enjoyable holiday with friends in a modern comfortable house with everything you need in it. highly recommended

it was very clean and comfortable with great views. nice indoor and outdoor furniture a great backyard for the doggies.

the king size bed was a bit soft so you rolled into the middle and the dishwasher didn’t work, everything else was great!

our holiday was lovely but the house needs attention. somethings you wouldn’t know unless you stayed yourself for a few

kitchen ware needs updating as everything is chipped and damaged saucepans past use by date. mattress in master bed very uncomfortable, sages in the middle and very lumpy major clean needed, including cobwebs everywhere and on windows, dust. Very bad for allergies. sliding door from kitchen to backyard doesn’t lock which is a major safety and security issue. toilet cistern in main bathroom doesn’t stop. toilet seat in en-suite is lose and needs repair fly screens need repair or replacement . vacuum handle broken, collapses in use. Black mould in main bathroom again health issue disappointed on arrival, lawns needed mowing and backyard was very untidy.. so much so our little dog couldn’t use it. ceiling light cover in kitchen about to fall off and full of bugs

the linen and towels were in very poor condition the vacumn cleaner didn"t work and the doona covers and sheets were very stained

Superb

Plenty of room and ambiance

No toilet brush. 1 tea towel between 6 of us. Hinge off on pantry, kitchen light fitting not very secure flickering.

Nice views, comfortable property

Comfortable property that was pet friendly with a fully fenced yard and no extra pet fee's. The house was very spacious with a huge kitchen. The couches and lounge rooms were very comfortable and a nice fireplace. The bedroom was very cold and although a heater was provided, it was a bit small for the space, but that was about the only small downside.

excellent house for three or more guests, value for money and very well presented, a walk down the road to the boardwalk

the multiple living arrangements, cleanliness, dog friendliness, comfortable and private rooms

the garbage bins were full from previous guests and the bins fell over from fullnesses when wheeled out before we left spilling old stinky garbage. we had to manage our garbage to the tip ourselves

Great holiday home.

Easily accessible, accommodated our whole family well. 2 lounge areas worked well with our kids. Very accessible to make meals at home. Walk along the boardwalk near river to the shops. Great laundry facilities.

The 4th bedroom was open the the lounge area and not quiet. I would relocate the kids to a back room next time. We did have a neighbour come and visit us during our stay advising he wanted to check the property out to see if it was suitable for renting himself, we politey declined.

Exceptional

House was everything we as a family needed. Clean and tidy, amazing views, great space for family of 5 with dogs. Will definitely be back here at Pelican Lake House.

To the previous tenant/holidayers who stayed before us had not picked up after their dogs and not taken bins out or just filled them up to top. Luckily had sister in law up at same time but stayed other end near short point, had room in their bins.

beds very comfortable, plenty of space for our six guests. never ran out of hot water. beautiful big kitchen

bins full on arrival..we vacuumed twice...pipes banged when toilets flushied, Floors needed mopping.
