Lovely old large Cape home walking distance to Riley’s and Loop Beaches, the Restaurant, the town grocery, the playground, the library and so much more in this lovely town. View of the harbor and a large yard for family gatherings! Have stayed here many years… this is what the Cape is all about!

Great old house, plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 child. One bedroom has AC, but the others have fans. Owner/property manager is easy to work with. Short 15 min. walk to a little beach, 2 min. drive to another larger beach. 15 min drive to large state park beach. We hope to come back next year.

This is a rambling old New England house with all the quirks and charm that makes them so special. It is extra spacious with 4 different types of living rooms , three areas designated for dining (eat in kitchen, dining room table and sun room), 4 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus outdoor shower which makes it ideal for multi-generational family vacations or as a co-rental with another family. Maddy was very responsive before and during our stay. It is a great value too - thanks to homes and hosts like Maddy, a week at the Cape is still affordable for families like ours! We look forward to coming back.

Charming home!
We loved working remotely in this charming historic home. It’s full of interesting art, books, and is clearly a very special place. It isn’t completely updated, but we loved the outdoor shower, the sun porch, and all the rooms that were perfect for gathering.

just to be clear
Big house. Great Location. Great light. Nice views
Looks like renovated last when Eisenhower was President . Truly. All bathrooms have a tub with feet and are very old and unrenovated. Only one has a shower. That should be an easy addition.
Electric not updated so kitchen appliances plug into a computer power strip with three prongs.
House is 6/10 mile from loop beach but no beach pass. Only house in twenty years without one. Lots of dropoffs and walking. Id rather be further away but with a beachpass. TV is basically a small monitor on a desktop.
Couches and furniture are all very old and worn. House reminds me of what college students rent for spring break on the cheap.
If you rent just be aware of what you are committing to.

Quiet Cotuit Vacation
We were very fortunate to get this rental on short notice after we had to cancel our trip to Rhode Island, due to Covid restrictions. The home is very spacious. The location is wonderful and very quiet. The yard is large. There are small beaches in walking distance. The home has a much loved and rustic feel to it. The owner was lovely to work with and responded promptly to questions.

Lovely spot in Cotuit
We had a very nice two weeks at the house. It is in a great location for experiencing Cotuit. Close to market and larger shopping areas. We could ride bikes to multiple very nice beaches and walk across the street and down a path to the harbor where you could sit and watch the boats go by. The house is very large and we had ample room to spread out. You can tell it has been well loved and enjoyed over the years. The house, kitchen and bathrooms in particular, have not been updated but if that is not a concern you will enjoy your stay! The owners were very nice - responsive and accommodating.
