Kids first plane ride, trip to Texas. All had a blast! We loved the house! Very unique to us. The kids could not bring much on the plane, but the house offered so much to keep them occupied and entertained!!

We were there working but the house worked for us perfectly, loved it!!

House was great - they probably could use a few more bath towels, but other than that it was a very nice place and nice neighborhood and close to the Fort Worth Stock Show

While the house is in a good area, and holds a large group comfortably, I would not stay at this home again. When we arrived the house was still being cleaned and they let us know they were not expecting us, the host was out of the country and difficult to communicate with. She did reply stating she had messed up and was not prepared for our stay. As a result we checked in an hour and fourth five minutes late while waiting for it to be cleaned. The house is not exactly as pictured, broken shower, and the back yard was pretty much unusable. When I reached out to the host about this, I got a snarky reply. Communication between the host and management company was a confusing mess. The house has potential but with the issues we ran into I cannot recommend it.

The draw for us was 3 baths. That is hard to find

It was all and all perfect for us!! Close to all the happenings in Fort Worth. The house we loved. All the games were great! We enjoyed them! The country feel our family likes!
Our only complaint would be the parking. I’m not a good enough driver to get my suburban in the driveway. We were all able to walk the hill that was there to get into the, but I wasn’t clear about that when I rented this property. So I’m so thankful I left my mom at home!
We would certainly rent again!!

no complaints. The owners were there finishing up their cleaning when we arrived at 3, however they were extremely nice and still allowed us to come in while they cleaned. The house is old- however I really liked it, made me feel like I was at grandmas house lol. 10/10 would recommend this property!

we needed a plunger, because one of the toilets got stopped up overflowed didn’t have a mop, and they don’t leave out enough for toilet paper. You have one roll of toilet paper we had eight guest and two children, trash bags. We had one extra trash bag, but we had about five bags of trash.!!! in the back spare bedroom it’s in addition to the house, it rain, real bad, and all the water came in from the window under the porch got the curtains, and the curtains were all wet!!

We were in town for a wedding on the TCU campus. This house was the perfect size for our group of 7. The decor was fun and the trails next to the neighborhood were great for a quick run!

Glass in patio door was broken….both trash cans overflowing…back commode ran during the night so I turned the water off….no soap for washer or dishwasher although the instructions said to run them both before we left….slow drainage in hall sink….broken glass in driveway….patio and backyard need attention….instructions told you what to do if this or that doesn’t work…..roads under construction…..priced way too high for quality of house and area….

Weekend Getaway
This property was extremely fun and felt like home away from home.

Easy, clean home
Very eclectic home, which was fun. I felt like you could sit in each room and notice something intriguing about the decor which was fun. Everything was clean and the team responded to any questions immediately. The far bedroom definitely is colder than the rest of the house but not a deal breaker. Uber XL’s to the stockyard we’re only $17 during the week and jumped to over $55 on the weekend, so maybe a consideration for location if that’s a concern but overall the price for the stay was great regardless!

A Walk back
Very 60-70ish, stove was gas ,did not work properly ,had to speak to owner, was addressed, still a hazard. Towels were terrible, a few up dates and she would have a great place to stay.

Absolutely wonderful experience
The house was what we had hoped for, plus some. We had 3 families staying there, and there was plenty of room. The home is eclectically decorated; it’s like staying in a vintage store. It was right up our alley, and we would definitely consider staying there again if we come back through Ft. Worth. 5 stars!

Had a great stay! We were in town for the bassmaster classic so didn’t really spend much time at the house other than to sleep. The beds were all nice and house was very clean. Thank you for everything!

Funky Little (House)
The location was excellent for us and our needs for a family event near the Ft. Worth area. Quiet neighborhood, easy access and two great restaurants nearby: Salas Limon and Lettuce Cook-both worth your patronage.
Pros on the Property
-Common dining and living area great for groups and games
-Location
-Number of beds for guests
-Backyard although it rained all but one day of our stay
Could be Improved
-Cleanliness-granted we heard we were the first guests since Covid19 lockdown-just woudl have been nice for a quick clean-we found spiders, cobwebs, dust, brown water in the hall bathroom shower upon turning it on.
-The bedroom in the converted garage-the mattress was like sleeping on concrete-no worse!
-Funky shower in converted garage bedroom, basically a wash tub with a shower handle you had to turn on and off to wet/rinse-and the water was hot all the time.
-Dead batteries in the TV remote and a smoke alarm began chirpping just after we entered. Property contact Jessica said she would contact owner-never responded back. I had to buy batters for both.
-Not enough towels for all guests-we had eight-there were seven towels.
-Animals of some sort in the walls/ceilings, we would awake chewing and rumbling noises in late night early evening.
-Mirror in hall bath not attached to wall, fell and broke, almost hurt my granddaughter.
The above things aren't so awful-just need attention. Take care of these and the property is a solid one for your family.
