The backyard features a deck for enjoying the sun or you can climb to the very top and enjoy a glass of wine during sunset and the never-ending ocean view.
Things to note: Parking is limited and there is no cable - Smart TV for streaming only. The stairway is narrow due to a stair chair lift (not guaranteed to be operational). There are no steps going to the very top of the backyard - you must "hike" to get up there.

This is a great house to stay while exploring and visiting Morro Bay or Pismo Beach. The house itself has a ton of character. You can tell it was someone's dream built to custom specifications. With large windows, three stories on a steep hill, a distinctive front and unusual interior. A single stairwell opens on to a cozy living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the 2nd floor (1st floor is the garage), a master bedroom, bath and kids' room (with bunk beds) on the 3rd.
There are some drawbacks to the quirkiness: the tv in the living room is at an odd angle that's hard to accommodate multiple viewers, there's a chair lift on the stairs that makes them a little cramped, and the furnishings and appliances are little dated.
Regardless we had a great time.

Filthy! Immediatly upon arrival we noticed grime and dirt in carpets throughout the house, dirt and hand prints on the walls. There is no way we were going to stay in such a dump. After trying multiple phone numbers for nearly an hour to contact the property management company to resolve the issue, we left. My fmaily and I were forced to try to find other local accomidations over the 4th of July Holidy, which none were availble within an accepatble distance. Ended up ruining our holiday vacation plans and we drove 3 hours back home! Finally had our money refunded, but nothing was offered to try and make up for ruining our holiday!

The view is great, however the upper deck is under construction and not very safe, the place was not very clean, the washer was squeaky/ noisy and the dryer didn’t work well, and the TV wasn’t mounted but leaned on a stool. Also, for a place that sleeps 6 there are only 3 coffee cups.

Easy check in and directions to property. Wonderful views of the Ocean! The easy drive to town was nice and the shops were fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed your time at the house. It was lovely to look out at the ocean from the living room and the bedroom. Cayucos was a great place to explore and enjoy.
We wish that the property was cleaner on our arrival. From bathrooms to the back patio, it would have been nice to have a place that's picked up, wiped clean and simply more inviting to enter.
Other than that though, it was a great vacation.

Nice view and weather
Poorly maintained. Trash and debris in patio area ( broken glass, weeds, wood with nails, table and chairs dirty. Barbecue not usable Not properly cleaned and sanitized prior to check-in. Carpets stained and dirty. Mold in shower. Walls dirty and scratched. could not park car in drive way without scratching car overgrown palm sticking out. That's why no refund policy

Dolphin House
Beautiful views and close to the beach!!! Walking to the beach would not take long except the walk up the steep hill would be difficult, so we drove. Back patio was full of spiderwebs but the upper deck was fun to laynout…but a little hard to get too. Overall it was nice! 😎

Wedding weekend
This house was exactly as described. The views from the living room, master bedroom and backyard deck are breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and silverware you would need. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels and linens are available. The parking is not ideal for a four door full size truck, but we made it work parking along the house instead of in the driveway. The back patio and succulent garden was a nice surprise. I definitely recommend making the hike up the south side of the yard where there are steps to guide you, and enjoy the ocean view and even sunset. The night lights are a great touch, with motion sensing so you don’t have to turn on switches when heading to the restroom at night.
The only issue was the shower head would not adjust and hold its place. It was either too high which would cause it to spray over the shower door, or the handle would tilt all the way down. And to adjust the water temp is hard to figure out. The windows are pretty difficult to open too.

Great location and amAzing views. A nice place to stay.
Easy check in. Beautiful weather so a nice time to be at the beach. House was comfortable for our family and an easy walk down to the ocean for a surf or a walk. It was great for a few days on out trip south.

Beautiful view
The house was great , however the driveway can only fit a small car. The front door sticks and was difficult to unlock. Upstairs bathroom window did not have proper coverings broken blinds .Could use some updating.

A Bird's Eye View
Though narrow, it offered the most spectacular views. A nice main floor with just the right amount of kitchen was beautifully augmented by a back patio and deck to enjoy even more stunning vistas. Though stairs are not my favorite, the views and spaces were well worth it! The parking was interesting but this comes with the territory of close homes and narrow streets. Thanks for a lovely visit!

Beautiful Home
The House was Beautiful and area wasnt bad however the drive way was a bit small that anticipated and from the view of the pictures it looked like the beach was a bit closer the portrayed some angles made certain areas look a bit bigger than they actually are, had some tv issues on the last few days but loved the view in general and the back patio area was adorable overall was a good stay but unfortunately not the best house for our family trips.. but the home was beautiful and clean and very welcoming.

Great location but house needs TLC
We enjoyed the location and the views. The house was clean but very dated. Livingroom furniture and kitchen pots and pans should be replaced.

This listing is exactly what you will get!
The listing for this rental house shows you exactly what you will get when you rent this beach house. This house is across the freeway from the beach. We had our feet in the sand in less than 2 minutes. It is in a perfect location - so close to shops dining, and a quick 4 miles drive down the road to Morro Bay. We had beautiful weather the entire time. We rented electric bikes for the day in Morro Bay and we ZIP lined in Santa Margarita. So much to do! We enjoyed 5 nights in this house. So lets get to what you are really wanting to know. The house itself is definitely a worn but loved home. The floors are stained but over all the house was very clean. I recommend you bring your own house supplies. We arrived and there was no toilet paper in either bathrooms. (Well enough for one or two uses) But not for 5 days. The kitchen also had a very used dirty dish sponge for our use. The downstairs bathroom had watered down hand soap, thank goodness we brought our own with our own towels. We immediately went to the store to purchase the items in need. (Toilet Paper & kitchen sponge) The upstairs master bed was super comfortable. (We brought our own linens and bedding). We didn't use the spare bedroom at all but would be perfect for two adults or children as there are bunk beds in that room. Some of the windows were hard to open and even broke but we were able to open up enough to hear the sound of the waves crashing and we had a very nice breeze most of the time. There was ZERO noise next door - No construction was going on during our visit. Which we expect but were pleasantly surprised when there wasn't any noise. The neighbors were kind and friendly. The parking is very difficult. But completely doable for 1 vehicle and 1 vehicle only. The check in and out was very easy and fast.
My husband and I would most definitely rent this house again. We enjoyed our stay immensely and can't wait to return some day.
I don't think you will be disappointed at all renting this house. With that being said make sure you bring your essentials.

Nice View from large window
The view was nice, but the home had some problems. The parking is rough. Only one spot perpendicular to the driveway. There is no space to store your beach items (chairs, boggy board, wetsuit) out of the mist to dry for following day. The inside needs some TLC for sure; throw rugs are old and stained, couldn't get oven to heat without too much smell of gas; and the yard is in dire need of clean up. The patio is under construction and can not be used. Property management did bring us a BBQ on Monday, since we were unable to use the oven.
We love the Cayucos area and still made the best of our vacation.

Super location
This house is perfectly ocean adjacent. The home is a little dated and could use a deep clean (it’s very tidy) but overall just what we needed. The management company was super helpful and easy to get keys. Overall great. It only has one shower so if you have a big group plan accordingly.

The location really can’t be beat. The views were stunning and its so convenient to both SLO, Cambria, and Paso you can’t ask for more. That said, there are a few things lacking. The coffee maker didn't work (or we couldn’t get it to work but there were no directions), we had to search for towels, and there were none of the little extras I usually appreciate in Rentals like little shampoos or other items that might have been forgotten. Furniture and carpets had some stains but beds were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. Wifi worked well and was easy to log into. Great spot but we were a little disappointed in the lack of little touches. Oh! And beware the stairs! There is an electric chair rail that goes up both sets of stairs and it’s really difficult to haul up large suitcases.
