This home is exquisite! Would definitely book again!

Beautifully presented! Very homely feel. Large fully equipped spacious kitchen, living & dining room. All bedrooms had heaters and electric blankets. Nice spacious bathroom and laundry facilities. Very enjoyable stay! Wish we were booked for 2 weeks not 2 days. Definitely home away from home. David & Bec our hosts were amazing!

We had a great stay in Armidale at the Beardman. It was central, clean and as described! We will definitely stay again.

Perfect for a family

Location was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. The renovation internally has been very well done.

It was super-hot while we were there with no A/C in the bedrooms which made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep.

Superb

The location of The Beardman is excellent. Very convenient to pubs , restaurants & supermarkets. The house is lovely and well maintained. David was very pleasant to deal with, I definitely will recommend it to others.

Loved the location & the home was so spacious & comfy, great for a family. Everything was spotlessly clean & we had all that we needed for a weekend stay, boardgames were a nice touch. Lovely little place, would definately recommend staying here.

Not much to complain about, maybe a king size bed in the master, that's about it

The property was in the perfect location! In walking distance of shops and restaurants. It was comfortable and warm! The parking was great! We had a lovely stay.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. It was lovely.

Perfect

Very well looked after house, clean and comfortable. Heating provided which was important as Armidale gets so cold at night! It was perfect. The host was extremely responsive and pays attention to fine details.

The hosts did a great job to ensure their guests stayed in a clean well maintained house.

It was in a good quiet location and was very well maintained.

The back door was hard to open & close, one of the power points didn’t work & there was a hazard with a power board off a power board under the bed in the main bedroom.

House was really clean and welcoming. And the owners were very friendly and easy going. David accommodated our large family without hesitation which alleviated any stress.

Very comfortable, roomy house that has everything within walking distance of town centre

Beautifully appointed. Had everything we needed. Close to everything. Quiet. Comfy beds. Appreciated milk in fridge after long drive!

Maybe extra blankets in the cupboards for those that need them

A great family get away

Great location for discovering Armidale on foot. it felt spacious for an ‘in town’ location due to parking for the car on gated grassy lot at the rear. House was comfortable with right balance of cosiness Vs spaciousness for a family of 4 (2 teenage sons) Facilities were well considered: kitchen incidentals like oil, bin liners and cling film; entertainment social/board games and novels; bathroom toiletries in nice big bottles (not silly little hotel one use bottles that make you feel embarrassed for the environment); bedrooms nicely decorated and electric blankets - bliss in winter

Smallest bedroom needs to be used by heaviest sleeper as it is next to the bathroom and there no insulation in the walls so noise of water flow, vent fan is LOUD. There was only a TV provided without dvd or internet connection. This was a blessing for us as it forced the teenagers to join in card games.

Best place to stay in Armidale!

Comfortable, spacious, and located only a few minutes walk from the shops and the Welders Dog (best pub in town)… what more could you want?! The owner/property manager David was very responsive and helpful.

Great place to stay to visit Armidale and surrounds, with plenty of space for everyone,

The house was lovely, lots of space and very clean. Walking distance to get food. It was nice to have biscuits and milk supplied on arrival and especially good to find maps and information in the house as we arrived on the weekend and couldn't get to the visitor information centre.

Some of the bedroom blinds allowed the light through, waking the occupants up very early.

Great location. We could walk everywhere. Property clean, great heating. All amenities appreciated. Thankyou for the milk. Will definitely stay again
