Stressful and disappointing.

Location Good. The room itself was lovely, very clean and quality bed linen, quality soaps in the bathroom, lovely scented diffuser, good tea and coffee provision

We were emailed the directions to the car park (which is not obvious) very late in the day so we had to find a car park in the city first then navigate the car park. The entry code didn't work and we spent ages trying to get in to property which is not managed. After a considerable time the code was reset and we were able to get into the building. The TV didn't work. The shower wouldn't turn on eventually in the morning we got it to turn on only to find we couldn't turn it off. Although many emails were sent (and answered to be fair) no contact number was available except for the cafe below which was closed and therefore not manned. It was the most stressful overnight stay we have experienced. . It is more an air bnb. which is not what we were expecting. By the time a member of staff had arrived at 9am in the morning we were packed and left. The staff member was very pleasant throughout but sorting the issues were obviously not satisfactory and they weren't sorted during the time of our stay. It was extremely stressful. This was a last minute planned de-stressor which did not go to plan.

Overall it was OK.

Location was good for the town centre. Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

There was a problem with the front door key when we arrived at 3 p.m. so we weren't given one. I was told that one would be placed in the key safe by the time we returned at 10 p.m. and I would be sent the code by text. By 4.45 I hadn't heard anything so phoned twice as had visions of returning to the property and not being able to get in and no number to call for help. The room was cold at 10 p.m. when we returned but heating came on in the middle of the night and it was very hot. The TV didn't work and we spent half an hour having to retune it and all the channels.

Super comfy bed and good facilities, nice and quiet but close enough to walk into the centre.

Lovely clean and spacious rooms with a super comfy bed. Good sized shower and bathroom, and tea and coffee facilities. Lovely décor, what can i say really nice rooms. Access was easy went emailed door codes to get in main door and room door. No parking as such but just short walk away is a public car park and reasonably priced. Far enough out of town to be quiet but a comfortable walk to the main shopping/tourist area. Café downstairs if needed.

An enjoyable and unique accomodation experience, we would be happy to stay there again

Location excellent, parking option was great. comfortable beds and spacious for a family. Nice modern and clean accomodation. Heaps of close great restaurants to choose from as soon as you walk out the front door.

On the last night of our stay they had hired out the cafe below for a private event and had a very loud DJ playing until 10.30.

Breakfast in Fred's cafe was probably the best I've ever tasted - they even make their own baked beans, Delicious. The room was beautifully decorated with everything you could need for your stay, including a fridge with fresh milk and tea and coffee making facilities.

It was immensely difficult to find the car park which we had to book into in advance, and when I phoned for directions, no-one answered. We had to park initially in a city car park and then explore to find where to go. Not helped by the major road works outside which caused long queues. I am disabled and have a mobility scooter and although I had spoken to someone prior to arriving and agreeing that I could manage stairs, was not anticipating the fact there were step from the pavement. This meant I would have had to walk from the car park, which is a long way away, and I didn't know that in advance. The cafe was closed so we could not walk through it to the car park. As there is no meet and greet it makes you feel a little on your own. The noise from traffic is very loud, so sleep is disturbed. The mattress on the bed slopes on the edge, so it feels like you are falling out of the bed. Overall the cost is very high, especially considering that breakfast is not included and the walk into the centre is quite long.

Exceptional

We arrived early morning had a problem by accessing the door entry. I contacted them and was swifly given instruction where by we could enter. Had a nice cup of coffee in the morning by mrs Annika from the house really recommend this place great stay clean and good service! -spacious -clean -staf is excellent in doing there job and make you feel home.

Great stay

The place was very clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. It is very well situated, just few minutes from the High Street. There are many restaurants around, and the coffee shop downstairs offers very good food. I can highly recommend it.

Spotless room and great facilities in a good location.

Great location. Room was spotless with great attention to detail and some lovely high end tea/coffee available. The fan was a much needed extra and the bathroom was gorgeous. We liked the fact there was just a code to enter the property too.

The only negative for us was the bed and pillows. For our personal taste they were just too soft.

Disappointing

Warm welcome 🙏 on arrival and Fred's bar was lovely, great food (had all day breakfasts). The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated and it was classy.

The really hot room, where did the heat come from, had we got a hot water boiler /tank adjoining our room? We had one of the front room's overlooking Foregate Street. I accept that because of the age of the property installing air conditioning may not be possible but the room needs more than a fan to keep it cool. The room needs secondary glazing as even with the windows closed it was impossible to sleep. The noise from the passing traffic was unbelievable.

our room was very nicely furnished and decorated

our room was at the front of the building overlooking a very busy road. we couldn’t open the windows at night because of the noise so it was very hot even though a fan was provided. the weather wasn’t especially hot - about 22 degrees during the day. glad we weren’t staying during the heatwave.

Very pleasant and comfortable short stay.

Nice clean modern property sat above a lovely cafe where you can access an excellent breakfast, coffee, snacks etc. Good reserved parking at rear of property. Short walk into centre and station. Excellent restaurants near by. Lovely staff who were very helpful.

Admin error on arrival as two other guests thought they had booked the room and had same access codes. Check in procedures need to be much clearer or reminder of codes etc re-sent nearer arrival time.

Fantastic find in Worcester

Our room was fantastic! Access codes were provided so there was no contact with staff to enter or exit. Being tired and hungry, I overlooked information they had provided in the room and emailed them several times. (Sorry!) I received quick replies to all of my questions. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and I wanted to stay longer. The room was a real value. The little restaurant downstairs run by the owners was a real find. We had a fantastic breakfast there. The staff were wonderful.

The bathroom light was on a sensor/timer. The light stayed on for a few minutes after leaving it. It just took a bit to adjust to but not a problem.
