The "Maison 107" welcomes you in the heart of the protected village of Saint Georges d'Oléron, 2 mins walk from the market, shops and café terraces, 10 mins by bike from the sandy beach of Plaisance, the port du Douhet and the Saumonards forest, by the cycle path.
The house, designed by an architect on an old farm building, is ideally fitted out and nicely decorated for convivial holidays, with family or friends. The large living room overlooks a large landscaped enclosed garden, a welcoming terrace for your lunches and dinners, a swimming pool and its wooden beach suitable for napping.
Linens, books, CDs, DVDs, games, but also deckchairs, barbecue and outdoor equipment ... everything is available to make you feel at home at "Maison 107"!

we had a wonderful holiday in the villa at st geoges d'oleron. the pool was fabulous for our grandaughter and the beaches were within easy reach. every member of the family was highly delighted with the accommodation and we all agreed the island is a location to revisit in the future

We had a great holiday. From the moment we arrived.we were greeted by a lovely French lady who showed us round this lovely home . The pool was lovely to cool down from the hot sun . And the house had everything you would need .

The house is very spacious and comfortable and the pool area is wonderful. Our teenage son and his friends loved the lights in the pool and made the most of some night swims.
We did find that the top rooms get very warm as they have skylights and it’s unwise to open windows because of the mosquitoes.
We also thought that we’d rented the whole house for a week, however, one of the double bedrooms was not made up on our arrival, despite it being a 4 bedroom house and a party of 4. We were also asked that only one bed in each of top rooms should be used. Perhaps this is standard in rental properties, but I’d expected to be able to use all available beds if I was renting the whole house.
Also, be aware that at the end of your stay you will need to empty both indoor and Outdoor dustbins - so I’d recommend that you bag everything up very securely so you don’t have a smelly car like we did when you leave!
St Georges itself is a lovely low key, quiet village and feels safe and friendly. There’s a supermarket and a restaurant and that’s about it, so it wouldn’t suit those seeking a lively nightlife. However, it’s perfect for a relaxed beach holiday.
There’s plenty of beautiful sandy beaches to explore within a reasonable distance and it’s a perfect place for biking.
For a busier vibe and a trip out to Fort Boyard, we would recommend visiting Boyardville. Aim for the morning as it does get busy.
Overall, we had a fantastic week in St Georges and thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Isle d’Oleron

Bien placé et très agréable
La maison est bien équipée agréable et bien située. Nous avons pu nous balader à proximité. La piscine est parfaite. L’étang à proximité est idéal pour les enfants et les grands avec le restaurant la guinguette. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Belle découverte de l'Ile d'Oléron au départ de cette maison magnifique. Tout était parfait, de l'accueil par les propriétaires charmants et attentionnés, à l'emplacement au calme, l'aménagement, l'équipement, la propreté de la maison sans oublier la piscine chauffée idéale lorsque la météo n'est pas au rendez-vous. La proximité des plages est également appréciable. Une adresse à recommander !!!

Maison très agréable, spacieuse, bien équipée. Le jardin est clos de mûrs, ensoleillé et fleuri. La piscine est chauffée. Les pistes cyclables sont toutes proches.

Beaucoup d'espace et de calme, maison très bien équipée, 4 chambres vraiment spacieuses, un immense séjour et le jardin avec terrasse et piscine font qu'on a vraiment beaucoup d'espace même quand on est nombreux (9 maxi)

Très bon séjour sur l'île dOleron
Nous avons passe un très bon moment dans la propriété. la maison est située à côté de la place principale du village qui contient l'essentiel pour les courses et deux restaurants de bon rapport qualité prix. Les moules du Zest sont excellentes.
La piscine de la propriété est très bien chauffée et dans un patio qui coupe le vent, de très belles fins d'après- midi en perspective !
Préparez vous aux moustiques la nuit et prévoyez une prise ou des crèmes -;)

Maison spacieuse, dans un village au calme, extérieur côté piscine très agréable. Le seul point concerne la protection de piscine très difficile à remettre, même si plus facile à enlever. Mais à part cela, tout s’est très bien passé!

Maison et piscine très agréable, bien située sur l’île d’Oléron. Le gros plus, le ménage, la fourniture du linge de lits et serviettes comprise dans la location. Parking facilement accessible. Maison de village très agréable à vivre, très bien entretenue, très propre, très facile à vivre. La piscine est très agréable et le jardin de ville très joliment fleuri et arboré. Aucun vis-à-vis.
Très belles prestations, trois salles de bain ( dont deux très grandes) pour quatre chambre : très appréciable. Belle cuisine donnant sur salle à manger et salon. Plan très bien étudié donnant une impression de lumière et d'espace.
A trois minutes à pieds du centre du village, des commerces et de l'église magnifique de Saint Georges !
Un dernier mot pour les propriétaires charmants, confiants et très accueillants. Une location sans aucun défaut pour des vacances sur l'île d'Oléron. Tous est facile, maison et environnement. Bravo !

Maison, bien située dans le Nord de l’île, très agréable même pour un séjour en hiver avec une pièce à vivre spacieuse. Nous recommandons le saumon fumé de « chez Annie » en face de la maison. Propriétaire très disponible et accueillant.

Très bonnes vacances : maison idéale pour passer des vacances tranquilles, 4 chambres, 1 grandes pièce à vivre, un jardin parfait, une belle piscine, très proche du centre de village de Daint-Georges.
L’équipement est parfait pour les vacances : bbq, lave linge, sèche linge, wifi...

Super Haus für zwei Familien auf sonniger Insel
Das Haus sieht von vorn (2 Parkplätze direkt davor) eher unscheinbar aus. Was danach kommt ist aber toll und mit viel Charme: 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder, Küche mit allem ausgestattet, Wasch-, Spülmaschine - also alles, was des Urlaubers Herz erfreut... Und natürlich der beheizte Pool! Zwei kleine Punkte (etwas hellhörig von Ober- zu Untergeschoss, Handtücher mitbringen oder buchen) können den positiven Gesamteindruck nicht trüben. Erholung pur in einem geschmackvoll renovierten Haus auf einer sonnigen Insel!
Fußläufig ist der kleine Ortskern in 5 min. erreichbar. Corona-bedingt hatte einiges geschlossen, aber ein nettes Restaurant/Bistro und ein gut ausgestatteter Lebensmittelladen reichen. Fahrrad besorgen (netter Verleih in Domino) und die Insel erkunden. Strände und Orte sind über gut ausgebaute Fahrradwege in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Kontakt mit dem Besitzer und der Concierge war äußerst freundlich. Beide waren sehr um unser Wohlergehen bemüht.

La maison est vraiment parfaite pour plusieurs personnes nous ne sommes pas les uns sur les autres, calme , les équipements sont présents ( cuisine équipée , barbecue, piscine ....).les petites attentions en arrivant et partant font que ce séjour est réussi

Superbe séjour sur l'île d'Oléron
Christophe et son épouse sont charmants et très arrangeants. Ils nous ont même accueilli une journée en avance pour nous faciliter l'arrivée. La maison est très fonctionnelle et bien placée. Le jardin est vraiment agréable avec sa piscine, son barbecue, la végétation variée, les terrasses... Nous avons fortement apprécié notre séjour et recommandons fortement cette location à St Georges!
