About this house rental
We found this property in 2017 and knew the location was special! NEWLY RENOVATED 4000 sq feet, three floor home, perfect for family reunions or a week with friends! Five bedrooms, each with own bathroom. Loft with ping pong table/TV/sectional for kids (sleeps 4). Fully equipped kitchen with adjoining family room and formal dining. Four king beds and one queen. Huge kitchen with lake view as well as three bedrooms with lake views. Two bedrooms on second floor offer gas fireplaces and a wood burning fireplace in main floor family room. Laundry room on first floor and an additional laundry unit on second floor. Plenty of parking in front driveway (6 vehicles or RV parking).
House includes clean linens, towels and basic toiletry items (hand soap, shampoo and body wash in each bathroom). House will be stocked with a day's worth of supplies: coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. Our little guests are important too; house includes one pack n play. Two bedrooms on first floor, two bedrooms on second floor, second floor also has queen pullout. Third floor loft includes a queen bed bedroom with bathroom (no bedroom door), a single and double pull out plus couch and two rollaway mats. Kids will love the ping pong, games and books upstairs! First floor bedrooms include TVs, enjoy the TV in the main family room and one for the kids in third floor loft. Access to Netflix/Apple TV. Back deck is large and perfect for outdoor dining in summertime. Staircase down to private beach/firepit and private dock.

This was our second visit to the beautiful Ponderosa lake House on Payette Lake. We came back because it’s such a fantastic place for friends and family to spend time together. The house layout and furnishings are perfect for our group. The house is very clean and well stocked. The views are amazing and the access to Pondersa park, just steps from the property, make this a special location. We love the new dock, it worked well to park our boat and just hang out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It’s a great place!

What an amazing property! We came to McCall with high expectations based on the description and pictures. I can honestly say being in the home was even better and far exceeded our already high expectations. We loved the location within Ponderosa State Park and its access to trails and the water. The home’s layout is perfect for families and accommodations were first class. The home was spacious, clean, tastefully furnished and provided a lot of room for both privacy and socializing. Cooking is a big part of our family's get-togethers and the Lake House kitchen was a sure delight to cook and socialize in. From the commercial-quality cooking and food prep appliances to pots, pans, dishes, and glassware to the large kitchen island with seating for six, there was nothing we lacked for putting together and sharing great meals.
The Lake House dock is well maintained and was easy to approach and moor our boat when it wasn't being used. The property's large sandy beach and the sandy lake bottom made for enjoyable lounging, beach games and swimming.
This is a special property. We will return in the future.

We had such an amazing week at this property, no one wanted to leave when our stay was over! The house is beautifully decorated and having your own sandy beach and dock to use is super convenient if you have water toys. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was plenty of space for everyone. The view from the deck is breathtaking especially during summer sunsets and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Great memories were made and we hope we can return in the future!

Home was beautiful & beautifully decorated. Very cozy & yet tons of room. Master bedrooms were awesome & the beds were so comfortable. The only recommendation I have is more bedding in winter just because it was super cold when we were there but we didn’t want to crank the heat up either. Owner was super nice & and we loved our stay. Would love to rent in summer to enjoy the deck, dock, & lake.

It was so nice to have our own dock along with a sandy beach area for the kids to play. The house is so well done and has everything you need. It sits in the Ponderosa Park which gave us easy access to hikes for the kids and the opportunity to view wildlife. 🐿️ 🦌 🦅

Ponderosa State Park has long been one of my favorite destinations. To experience it with this kind of luxury was a dream. The house is beautiful, and so well laid out. With three families each couple had a private suite, plus kids upstairs in the bonus room / queen room. Plenty of towels and dishes. And I can’t say enough about how amazing the beach is. Perfectly sandy and soft even out into the swimming area. The dock easily accommodated two boats plus a sea doo. We definitely hope to return!

This house is perfect for big families. Each big bedroom has their own bath, beautifully updated, huge kitchen, great deck and the sandy beach was so key! The dock was great for our ski boat. We cannot say enough nice things about this house.

Winter Ski Week with Family
This is a beautiful property that we had rented in the summer for many years before it was sold to the current owners and renovated. We loved seeing what the new owners had done to the property. Beautiful place and perfect for a large family gathering.
Perfect in every way except the entrance over ice and snow was a bit tricky. We were able to walk just next to the garage after getting over the mound of ice in the driveway.

Spectacular!
This property is gorgeous. It could only be outdone by the surrounding lake and mountains! Every room has a view. The house is awesome. The kitchen is huge and so well stocked. The living area is warm and comfortable. The bedrooms are a great size and very comfortable; each with its own beautiful bathroom. The views are amazing. We had fires in the fireplace and on the beach. We ate inside in the beautiful dinning room and outside on the deck overlooking the lake.

Great place!
We had a group of 14 adult males staying for a week for our Annual Fantasy Football draft. The house had plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out. We have been doing our annual trip for over 20 years, and this was one of the best places we ever stayed.

Couldn’t have asked for better.
From host to facility, everything was ideal. Simply ideal.
Hard to resist the temptation to rate it a single star and wave my hand in Jedi fashion saying, “You don’t want to rent this place” in order to dissuade bookings and have better availability for my family in the future!
You won’t regret your time at this property. No way, ever.

The best place to stay in McCall!
I want to tell everyone about this house but i also don’t want anyone to know because it is going to get booked out! Everything about is amazing. Our favorite part is how insanely comfortable it is for the amount of people it can hold! Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is a game changer. From the kitchen, to the living room, to the dock, it seriously could not have been any more perfect for our trip. We will definitely be staying here again the first chance we can!

Amazing Property and Gorgeous Location
This home was everything described and more. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, roomy shared living spaces. The seating at the bar and dining room table was perfect for meals and card games. the bedrooms were large, and the bathrooms were amazing, very nice fixtures and features everywhere. A chef's kitchen with high quality appliances. Too many amenities to list, everyone in our group of 16 adults was comfortable and very impressed. We came to snowmobile, and the owner's were very helpful on talking us through how to park all the trucks and trailers to get everyone there. the view of the snowy lake was amazing, and the yard had lots of little winter visitors to enjoy! We saw deer, fox, and many species of birds each day that we were there. It is a close walk to town, and there are cross country trails right outside the door!

Beautiful Intimate Home
This home was absolutely perfect for a small intimate wedding! Thank you so much for building this beautiful home to help other make so many great memories! We can't wait to be back! So close to town, rooms are set up perfectly, deck is massive, and kitchen is wonderful to cook for 20!

Ponderosa Park
Beautiful property. Wonderfully appointed. Super clean. Great location on beautiful Lake Payette immediate adjacent to Ponderosa Park And trails. Could not have been more pleased.

The good: the house is great. The location is great. The beach is great. The bad: Once you leave the beach things become dangerous. I was warned the dock was in rough shape but it had nails protruding and boards that would sag when you step on them. The dock has a large rock in the lake right where you would park your boat. I asked if there were any hazards and was told no. I have boated all of my life so it was a surprise to me when I hit a rock where the owners said was safe. Other than the rock that caused a TON of damage to my boat we had no propane in the bbq, the garbage cans were all full upon arrival and the internet was spotty. I let the owners know about the issues and it was not well received. Lastly I was treated rather rudely by the owners saying I "complained" throughout the stay. I have never been treated this badly by a property owner. It is too bad. It is a great location but be careful with this one!

Wonderful home for a relaxing stay
We had a wonderful week with our family at Justin’s place. The house is beautiful, setting spectacular, and host was so accommodating. We were sad for it to come to an end. Highly recommend enjoying time here!

Fabulous lake front property.
We stayed at this beautiful lake front home the second week of August. The home is well appointed and very comfortable. The four king suites fit our group perfectly making the adults stay comfortable. The loft area was perfect for the teens but in our group. The property has a beautiful sand beach with a fire pit. The dock needs a bit of work, but we were able to have both our boats safely tied to the dock.
The access to town was easy as was access to hikes in the state park next door and tons of great mtn biking in the McCall area. Plenty of parking made it easy for multiple family vehicles.
The house was great. We had a ball in beautiful McCall and will return.
