About this house rental

Sit and relax in our beautiful home located on 3.5 wooded acres while watching deers, birds and wild turkey or enjoy beautiful Castle Rock Lake and State park which is 0.5 mile away.
25 minutes from Wisconsin Dells.

The evenings can bring a bonfire in the fire pit and star gazing which will truely take your breath away.

3 decks are waiting for you..Using a security entry keypad, your peaceful retreat begins. You will see the hallway and specious living room with secional and 3 seat sofa, flat screen tv , and cable if you prefer the relax while watching your favorite shows.
From the dining room you can view the forest and have a peaceful meals with your family and friends as well as enjoy the woodfire burning stove.

The master bedroom features King bed with Serta Mattress and sofa that opens to twin bed. The master bathroom has big bath tub and shower. In the walking closet you can find crib for your little one and high chair.

The second bedroom features Queen bed with Serta mattress and beautful view of a trees.

The third bedroom features 2 twin size beds.
The sofa in the living room opens up to a queen size bed as well.

One deck has a gas burning grill and patio set and the other one features comfy conversational set, for having a morning coffee.
Don't forget to bring marshmallows because you have a fire pit that you can use.

Please go and check the garage ! You will find there bikes for your use, ping pong table, fooseball table, badminton , dart board and many ride-on toys for kids.
You are 3 minutes away from beautiful Castle Rock Lake and Castle Rock State Park so go ahead and enjoy your bike ride over there . Great fishing spot is just 3 minutes away ! There is coupe boat lunches in the area .
ATV routes right from our place.
If you like horse and pony rides- there is Red Ridge Ranch just 10 miles away !
In less than 5 minutes there are couple great restaurant - Portofino Bay Restaurant with beautiful lake view , Dirty Turtle with life music , delicious hamburgers and sandy beach and Shipwreck Bay with the best pizza and ribs in town.

Please no unauthorized pets - the pet fee is $50.

The property is as advertised. Master is a queen with a pull out twin and en suite his and hers sinks with a tub and separate shower room. There is another shared bathroom for the other two rooms: Queen, 2 twins. The garage has a good amount of room to hang out in. It's in a good location on the lake, not far from the park or night life. The biggest drawback to the place is mosquitos. This property is in the middle of the woods, and while the home has space around it, the mosquitos made being outside mid-July impossible. Also, just one thing to note that maybe only surprised me is that the yard is all in the front, there really isn't a backyard to speak of. So the picture of the fire pit area is actually the front yard. That said, its very secluded in general. We would stay there again because we used the garage as our "outdoors" space.

Very beautiful setting and extremely peaceful and quiet. Very nice home clean and spacious with an abundance of windows for viewing nature. We were greeted several mornings by a deer and her fawn and they stayed with us for a few hours grazing and laying in the shade. It was great!! Rich & Anita

Stayed with some college friends and our dogs. The house and location were perfect for us! Very comfortable, and we enjoyed the "up north" feel. Within walking distance of the lake! I highly recommend this VRBO!

This property was just what my family and I needed to get out of the city for a few days. The neighborhood and property is extremely well kept and very inviting. Staying here in mid October to see all the beautiful Fall colors was breathtaking! My family and I have stayed in numerous properties in the area, but this is the first one that truly made us feel at home.

This was the perfect spot for our annual women's weekend getaway. The kitchen was huge and my sister's wanted some baking lessons during the weekend and with the open concept, we were able to work in the kitchen and not lose a minute of the conversation with the others. The living room had space for us to set up a card table where we did puzzles. We didn't use the outdoor space, but it was large and well maintained. Thank you, Katie, for answering all my questions timely, so I knew just what was waiting for us and what I needed to pack extra! You were a great host.

The house was perfect! Plenty to do with the toys, games, and a variety of bikes for the kids. Everything you need in the kitchen, and in a awesome location. Beds were very comfortable and sheets nice and soft. Wish we could stay an extra day. Highly recommend!

We completed our second stay at the House Under the Stars and it was just as wonderful as the first! The location provides the right balance of country isolation with shopping opportunities nearby. There are also several lake and park options to visit with tons of activities.

Upon stepping into the home you were greeted by a burst of cleanliness and beauty!!! This cozy home is gorgeous inside and out and so family friendly!!! All kitchen supplies toiletries and general housekeeping items were just fingertips away! My puppy and I loved taking scenic walks to the portifino bay neighborhood just minutes away! The front yard was so huge we were able to set up a volleyball court for our kids to enjoy! I would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a secluded getaway.

In all my years of renting vrbo’s I’ve never given 5 stars for cleanliness. But this was on the cleaner side. We really enjoyed staying in a quiet, clean, and peaceful place. They had everything. We payed ping pong and Fuze ball. Each night. Saw deer each morning and heard turkey’s too. I’d stay again.

Beautiful property in perfect location- close enough to Dells to enjoy but far enough away to feel like perfect snowy Christmas getaway. Many activities and games on property and a perfect place to make cookies. Everyone was happy with there accommodations and would love to return. Property is well cared for and clean. Host quick to respond with any questions. Only complaint is walls are thin as far as sound so hard to sleep in with large group. Otherwise it was a perfect stay

Just got home from a 3 week stay at this property and have nothing but fond memories! The location was perfect for our adventures, deer and turkey roam the land, it was extremely quiet at night, the boat launch is only a mile away, all in all it was very relaxing. Cell reception is a bit sketchy as is the DISH TV, but the owner was quick to respond when we let her know. This is a very excellent rental and we plan to go back!
