About this house rental

Perfect place for a Lake Getaway. Escape to the Lake and enjoy the serenity of nature in this cozy 3 bedroom home. Sleeps 8+ Anchors Away is nestled in the woods on a large lakefront lot. Plenty of rooms to relax and enjoy the waterfront views. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, just bring your groceries and beverages. Relax on the balconies that overlook the water or swim & sun on the brand new 2 story boathouse. Neighborhood launch so you can bring your watercraft with you or rent one from our local marina. Life truly is better at the Lake.

Main Level:

Master bedroom with its own balcony that overlooks nature and the Lake. Master also includes a private on-suite and closet.

Large living area makes for a great place to entertain and share stories with family or friends. When not entertaining this area makes a perfect place where you can just sit, relax and unwind or even read a book,

Sunroom has ample sitting areas with a dining table. Enjoy all the wonderful views of the trees, nature and of course the Lake out any of the windows. 2 Doors lead out to 2 different balconies.

Kitchen has all the essentials for cooking and comes with an eat in table. Go out the kitchen door and enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony listening to nature and enjoying the lake views.

Lower Level:
Features a large open entertainment area with large screen TV and Wet Bar. Full bathroom is also located downstairs. Entertainment room also has two french doors that exit to a covered patio with sitting areas. Enjoy the views of the yard, boathouse and Lake from this area.

2 of the bedrooms are downstairs. The first one has a queen size bed along with a pull out sofa and access to the lake from the room. The second bedroom features bunk beds with full size mattresses, TV and direct access to the backyard via a french door.

Outside:
Brand New 2 Story Boathouse. Easy access from the house. The bridge from the house takes you to the upper level of the boathouse. Enjoy spectacular views of the Cove and Main Lake from this level. Chairs and lounges gives you the opportunity to entertain or relax and refresh while in the open air. Take the stairs downstairs and enjoy making beverages or light snacks from the large bar area. Also has a nice size dock that brings you closer to the water. Relax or jump in, either way its an awesome way to spend your days and nights, Ladder provides easy entry and exiting from the lake and several dock cleats and bumpers around the perimeter of the boat dock allows you to tie up your boat or jetski while enjoying your vacation.

I can't say enough great things about our stay here! From the lovely home and decor, well appointed kitchen, amazing deck and patios, to the incredible boatdecks (2 story!) with everything you could possibly need to have fun on the water. This home did not disappoint in any way. The owner was so pleasant and easy to communicate with. We had such a a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

Everything was just as planned. The house was amazing and the boat house was even better. We had kids with us and they absolutely loved swimming off the dock. The location was great. It’s in a cove but right at the point so not far down. We really enjoyed our time and plan to be back!

Nice a house and dock. Only downside was Wi-Fi and cell was very poor. Could not stream tv half the time. Had zero cell signal most of the time. If you want to get away to nice house and a really get away and disconnect this is your place

Beautiful property on a quite part of the lake - SO peaceful we felt like we were the only people on earth. Wonderful stay!!

Very nice location. The house is beautiful and has wonderful open floor plan. The dock/boat house is awesome. The neighborhood boat ramp made it easy to put our jet skis in and out of the water. We found a binder in the kitchen. At first glance, it looks like a copy of the power point provided by the host prior to the trip with general info like door code and where to take the trash. After a couple of days into our stay, I flipped through the binder and found list of rules. One of which stated no fishing from boat house. This is probably something that should be part of the listing. The main reason we go to lake is to fish. Overall, great place and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay at the lake.

If your looking for a stress and worry free house to rent for a summer vacation at LKG, this is the spot. Beth was so nice and easy to work with! She even left us a s'mores kit and glow sticks for the kids. The house has everything you need and it is very clean. The dock is fantastic! We brought our own MasterCraft with us and my parents rented a pontoon boat. We were able to tie everything up with no issues, plenty of room! Thanks again Beth! We had a great week :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Gaston Getaway. This property was ideal for hanging out at the boathouse, which was fantastic, especially the new power awning. The property owner is clearly investing in renovations which we enjoyed. The only hiccup was the beds... we were informed in advance that the beds would not be made but sheets were available; this wasn't quite as easy as expected since sheets weren't centrally located but rather spread through the house. The view of the main Lake was fantastic and worth booking this rental. Also to mention, there was plenty of parking for the crew and a boat ramp inside the community which was extremely convenient. We hope to rent again, thank you!
