Frühstück war ok, ansonsten v.a. die Lage

Altes Federkernbett, dreckiger Duschvorhang, alte Armaturen, spartanische Ausstattung, selten Personal vor Ort, Sky Werbug, aber Kanäle ohne Signal, Schreibtischlampe defekt…

In die Jahre gekommen aber sauber, gemütlich und funktionell

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind alt aber gemütlich und sauber.

Duschen in der Badewanne birgt das Risiko des Ausrutschens. Eine Antirutschmatte wäre hier sinnvoll.

A little tired now but good value for money and a nice breakfast.

It's a good location, close to the old town. And a really nice breakfast with decent options despite being quite small, in the rustic and very pleasant breakfast room / restaurant. It is also well priced.

The hotel just looks a little tired these days and with the restaurant being closed now (post COVID) lacks some of the bustle and community of a hotel. This didn't bother me too much on this occasion as I was travelling with three other colleagues, but had I been travelling alone, it would have been less pleasant.

Lovely hotel in excellent position. Lack of reception staff a problem.

Very good breakfast. Excellent hotel with large bedroom and good facilities.

It was a nightmare trying to book out - sent to their sister hotel and then back again - wasted nearly an hour! Not good enough.

A little charmer in Wetzlar

Good location for the bustops and short walk into Wetzlar center. Good decent breakfast. TV reception was limited and poor signal.

Reception was closed throughout my stay and check in was dealt with at the neighboring hotel 50m away. No bottled water in room, no safe.

Overall for the price it was a decent stay.

In the middle of old town Germany--just lovely. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Room was comfortable and fairly spacious.

Check-in was at the other hotel, so going back and forth with luggage is not easy. Old carpet in the rooms and even a bucket in the hallway for leaky ceiling. Could use some updating.

Great location in the historic center on walking distance of everything. Lovely breakfast, personal and warm atmosphere of a historic but comfortable family hotel.

Definitely again!

Cute little hotel in the historic part of Wetzlar. The hotel was in a historic building. The breakfast was decent, Restaurant not opened yet due to Corona.

The staff was nice and helpful. Parking was directly in front of the hotel available and in the garage. The location was lovely!!

Good location and quirky if not modern or the traditional charm I was after. Did the job.

Our room was an apartment on the top floor, which had a separate bedroom (twin), small kitchen, toilet, mezzanine bedroom upstairs (twin) and a spacious lounge area. I saw the pictures and the bed arrangement in the apartment suited our group well, Breakfast was included and plentiful. Fairly close to town centre, just 5-10 minute walk down the hill.

Found the back entrance of the hotel fine but needed to navigate to the front, which took a little time (perhaps some more signage?). I had also hoped it would be characterful but in actual fact it was a bit dated. The furniture was mismatched and pretty well used. Although we hadn't expected to use the kitchen much, I doubt whether it would facilitate much self-catering for an extended period. Reception closed at 19:30 and did not re-open until 11:00 on a Saturday morning, which sounded like could be difficult to access help if needed.

Real characterful hotel with excellent breakfast.

Real character hotel in medieval Wetzlar. Receptionist rang us to check we were still coming! Good size room. Excellent breakfast including cooked items. Adequate parking.

Only downside no kettle but they did provide a thermos.
