Great location on the Benton sands estate, where we have stayed in other properties a number of times. Access to the community pool is excellent for the kids. House is very well equipped but in need a of a refresh/declutter and external tidy up. House internally and externally would benefit from some pest control due to spiders given the location to the bush (other properties we have stayed in the area seemed to have managed this). The locking of room doors and signs is a little unwelcoming. Overall location trumps for this property.

The home was very clean, spacious and a perfect size for the group we had.
It’s in a quiet area and very close to the child friendly beach.

Wonderful property.
The children’s bedroom with two beds was very warm.
Maybe a more powerful fan needed.
Apart from that ( more tea towels needed only found one) well equiped kitchen.
Great proximity to the beach over the road.
We would stay again

We loved staying at the house in Callala beach with our two dogs. The house had everything we needed, is immaculately clean and is just a stone's throw from the beach. The owners were very helpful and responsive and did everything to make sure we had a good stay. Thank you

Great location, basic beach house
Most of the cupboards were locked in this house so it felt a bit unwelcoming, but it’s a nice house in need of some maintenance. Owners are very responsive. Great for pets.

Great Location, many thing to do
We had a good time and had christmas with family. The owner is very quick to respond to us when the wifi was down. Very close to the beach and family of 5 with our 2 dogs love the place. It was raining for 2 days and it was too cold to swim at the beach. The place has a large TV and we manage to watch a few movies and relax. The community pool is good for a swim as well. Will come back.

Very poor and rude customer service
Raised some concerns during my stay and the person who replied to me was rude and his reply absolutely nonsense
Shame to have these kind of people in the tourism industry

Bitterly disappointed with the filthy condition of this property. dirty oven, dust and grime all over the furniture and kitchen benches, tattered and dirty lounge, cobwebs and spiders in corners and on light fittings, stench of cheap air freshener, untidy and overgrown garden and back yard. Totally misrepresented in the advertising. We drove 4 hours from Sydney and was forced to return because of the unhygienic state of this property. Avoid at all cost. The owners were rude and aggressive and refused to take responsibility for the state of the property. The photos show a 4 bedroom house with a indoor swimming pool with water views. (It really is a small rundown/unkept weather cottage with a communal pool down the road).

Relaxing quiet break
Wonderful week at Sublime Sands. Fabulous clean home that provided everything we needed for a relaxing 6 days. My only suggestion to improve would be to provide a bit more wardrobe space in the master bedroom for those staying longer than 3 days. Otherwise a 5 star stay.

As soon as we got in the property we realised that it was very dirty. We decided to give it a bit of a clean and enjoy my husband’s birthday weekend. We tried and tried but it was disgusting. The balcony was full of spider webs like it hasn’t been clean for months. We couldn’t even sit on the outdoor seats due to spider webs all over the table and the seats leading all the way to the trees about 2-3 metres away from the balcony. Under the table spiders were coming out. We decided to even clean the balcony and still hoping we can make it a good weekend. While grabbing the hose to thoroughly give the balcony a clean, my daughter screamed because she got bitten by a spider while she was on the couch. That’s when we decided to leave the place and email the owner. When we emailed, we never asked for a refund but to contact us to discuss. Never heard from them until today. It has been exactly 13 days. I would definitely not recommend this place. The minute they take your money and make you sign the agreement, they don’t want to know you. I know I might not get my money back but I can definitely save others from putting their money on this property. Not only how dirty this place is but also how disgusting service from the owners. If I had a choice to give them half a star I would. 1 star is too much for the owners and their dirty house.

Terrible place. Very dirty full of spiders in side and outside.

Callala Breeze was lovely!! Highly recommended.
We had our family and dog stay at the property. It’s perfectly situated so close to Callala Beach which is dog friendly.
The amenities in the house were in excellent condition. Great dishwasher, oven, etc as well as washer/dryer and vacuum cleaner.
Please note when you rent the property that you must bring your own linens and towels including hand towels and bath mats.
I’d you want use of the whole property you’ll need to make sure you book the right number of people as the bedrooms all have locks on them so you can’t use them is you haven’t let the owners know.
There was Olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper but bring your own tea and coffee.
The heated pool that belongs to the community was lovely and right off the beach.
The owners are very dog friendly and with the location of the house and the care taken to get really great appliciances and such, it’s a really great place to stay. Highly recommend
