About this apartment rental
Wake up in a bedroom steeped in woodsy charm via exposed wood beams, a timeworn wooden dresser, and a driftwood-framed mirror. Rustic-chic touches in a cozy living room unite with a kitchen’s modern flourishes forging a radiant, lived-in atmosphere. This first floor apartment of a two unit 1830 farmhouse can be rented on its own or with the upstairs unit. Booked as just the first floor, it is completely secluded with its own private entrance.
ALL NEW cozy, designer decorated, original VT farmhouse entire first floor apartment. King bed that can be split into twins and a full bed. Full kitchen, living room and bathroom.
3 acres, swimming hole, wifi, cable, TV, laundry. Very easy to get to towns and skiing.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A/C window unit in kitchen living area only. MOST places in the area (except the main resort) DO NOT have A/C. It seldom gets past low 80s usually in the 70s and there is a wonderful breeze. There are free standing fans if needed as well.

3 acres, swimming hole, wifi, cable, TV, fire pit, charcoal grill, laundry. Very easy to get to towns and skiing.
* We live in NYC, but have caretakers up there for any in person issues
The house is set on 3 acres of secluded land. Sugarbush Resort and Mad River Glen’s respective ski slopes are within a 10-minute drive away. In the summer, walk to the private swimming hole behind the home or hike the trails at Mt Ellen.
PEAK WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS = Higher Nightly rate. New Years Eve week, MLK, Presidents' Day and fall foliage weekends (last weekend of sept and 1st and 2nd weekend in oct. ), Fourth of July, Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend)
PET RULES - Please read prior to booking 🙏🏽
We are happy to welcome guest’s pets who are behaved and don’t shed. There is a $150 additional fee per pet (per week, for longer stays), and the following rules must be strictly adhered to.
1. The pets cannot be left alone in the apartment unless secured (locked) in their kennel (cage)
2. The pet is under no circumstances allowed on any of the furniture, including beds
3. We reserve the right to keep the security deposit if we find out or if it is evident that our rules were not respected
4. Please bring your own hair removal tool, lint roller, etc, and maintain the cleanliness of our home
Due to my allergies, we have to unfortunately be rather strict with the rules, but we've had great guests who are very understanding and respectful, which enables us to continue to allow pets. Thank you for understanding and please reach out with any questions 💕
We LOVE our VT retreat and hope you do to! Please treat it with love and respect. All we ask is you strip the sheets before leaving, lock all windows and the door and make sure the lights are off.

This was a nice apartment to stay overnight in Vermont. The VRBO app itself doesn’t provide you with correct details regarding WIFI, but the owner was great about assisting us with this. This place is very clean, provides quality linens and paper products.

This house is in a great location, close to town but far enough that it feels remote and quiet. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean and had plenty of towels. The cozy living room with smart TV was so comfortable for binge watching a show at the end of an active day. The swimming hole was a terrific bonus if you are just a little adventurous. We would recommend Scrag and Roe in Waitsfield for anyone looking for an excellent meal. We hope to stay again soon.

The place is clean, beds are comfortble and communication with property manager was impeccable. Check-in and check-out cannot get any easier. Lacks a few cooking supplies. And if you’re a light sleeper, the house is by the road, so it could be a little noisy. All in all, a great place.

This was our 2nd stay at the farmhouse and it was just as good as the first. We love the small details in the house that make it so welcoming and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in this delightful farmhouse on a two night getaway. It was clean, adorable and perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend!

Nestled in the historic heart of Vermont is a gem of a farmhouse, which effortlessly weaves the rich tapestry of yesteryears with today's modern conveniences. Our recent stay in the 2-bedroom apartment exceeded all expectations. It was a cocoon of comfort, exuding a cozy and romantic ambiance, yet offering all the modern convenience we've come to rely upon.
The farmhouse's strategic location alongside the iconic Route 100 in Waitsfield was a dream come true for travelers like us. It served as the perfect base for our day trips, both north and south, unlocking the vast scenic treasures of Vermont. Yet, the allure of the property itself was equally compelling. Spanning expansive acreage and with the gentle murmur of a river as its backdrop, it was the epitome of tranquility. Many a time, we found ourselves caught in the dilemma of exploring the state or succumbing to the allure of a good book, ensconced in the serenity of our temporary quarters.
A special mention must be made of our host, Yiselle. Her warmth, attentiveness, and prompt responses enriched our experience. It's not just a stay, but an experience, thanks to her.
In a world where genuine hospitality can sometimes be elusive, this farmhouse in Waitsfield stands as a testament to what an authentic, heartwarming stay feels like. We're already looking forward to our next adventure there!

Very spacious. Lovely location. Had a problem with hot water first night. Repairman came out next morning, but this threw us a little late on our sightseeing.

This is a gorgeous, well-kept home in the heart of the Mad River Valley. It's a short-drive from the center of both Warren and Waitsfield. In an area with limited lodging options, this modern and design-friendly home was a welcome stay.

Responsive owner and caretaker, great comfort and charming decor, clean, bright, sufficient kitchen stock, extra touches like toiletries and coffee, overall first rate. Could hear footsteps upstairs from unit above but not voices so did not interfere with our enjoyment of the property. Love the area and Sugarbush great skiing!

Cozy country farmhouse
This farmhouse can be a bit noisy as property is directly on the main road…
Various noise including road noise. But bedroom with sound machine to filter out some noise. This ground floor apartment is very cozy, clean. Only issue was dishwasher not working and wasn’t fix during our 3 nights stay. All else okay.

We stayed for New Year’s weekend and had a wonderful visit. The location is key. It’s close to the mountain and restaurants. The property was well stocked and outfitted with top notch amenities. It had a true modern farmhouse feel. We will be back!

Nice stop on summer road trip
Easy access (door lock didn't work but alternate access instructions were provided ahead of time so no issues). Kitchen reasonably stocked - but beware of small coffeemaker (4 cup). Appreciate the nice washer and dryer. Easy access to town - grocery, restuarant, gas - about 2.5 miles.

I wanted my granddaughter to have a pleasant place to stay the night before moving into her dorm. She and her mom enjoyed this house, which is spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable.

A Slice of Heaven
Great location close to skiing, hiking, restaurants and shops. Right on the river which is nice to swim, tube or fish at. Kitchen is well equipped and house is very comfortable. Owner or caretaker is very easy to get in touch with.

Summer fun for the family.
Our family of four stayed in this beautiful home for one night on our trip north on hwy 100. We took advantage of the local shops and restaurants but the highlight were the morning hike on long trail and the dip in the swimming hole.

Spring Ski Trip
Overall, this place was very nice and matched the description. The only complaint I had was that we were never given a check-in code and had to wait two hours outside after the check-in time. The host was very hard to contact because no numbers were given either. The only way we got in the apartment was by stopping the person staying on the top floor and luckily they had found a contact number inside.
