Penrhyn was clean, cosy and welcoming. It's very close to beaches and coastal walks (minutes away by foot) Kitchen

A lovely cottage with everything you could want. Very comfortable and clean and a great location at the edge of the village, short walk to shops and pubs, but straight on to the coast path the other way. What more could you want?

everything was fine. Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. Just bad luck with the weather. We had good walks all over Anglesey.

Great location and perfect with split level living as gave teenage son his own space too. Cottage had everything we could possibly need and more. Very comfortable and clean with nice quality crockery and accessories. The service from Coastal Cottages was excellent with lots of additional information on the area provided too.

The cottage is in a beautiful location with easy access to lots of coastal walks, beaches and coves all within a few minutes walk. Very peaceful but close to the high street if needed. We didn’t need to use our car all week. The cottage itself could do with a deep clean and this is what would stop me returning.

Very nice property, with all utencils and eqipment necessary. Well situated to all local amenaties. Could possibly do with a deeper clean, many visible cobwebs and dead flies in windows that were there on day one.

very comfortable lounge suite and a bed which we highly rated for comfort.
we were surprised by the nice goodies a variety too many to mention.
The location is great with views of the sea and a few yards to the coastal path and yet convenient for the village.
I would recommend Penrhyn cottage for a small family during the long holiday season and excellent for a dog.

We were delighted with Penrhyn cottage. Superbly well equiped with a view to the sea and a pleasant walking distance from the local facilities. We arrived to find wine and milk in the fridge plus biscuits and snacks. we only had four days but wished we could have stayed longer.

Holiday at Penrhyn Cottage, Cemaes Bay
This is a lovely cottage with all you could want to make your stay perfect. It is in a great location right near the coastal path. There is a sea view from upstairs. Unfortunately we didn't see any wildlife in the sea during our stay but plenty of bird life around. The walk down to the village and beaches is very short, just a slight hill back to the cottage. We don't have a dog but it is a perfect place for anyone who does... the owner has catered well for the furry friends. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival and even an honesty bar should you not be inclined to venture out to the shop/pub. All in all a great place for a relaxing holiday.

Spoilt by last hour
A very pleasant stay was spoilt by a cleaner calling at 9:05am to start cleaning when the contract stated 10:00am !!!
Tarnished an excellent holiday.

Beautiful little cottage
Beautiful little cottage in a great location right on the Coastal Path so perfect for walkers. Close to the beach and only 5 mins walk to the High street where there is a fabulous butchers, a chip shop and a convenience store. The chip shop is highly recommended.
The cottage has off street parking right outside, free WiFi, TV upstairs and downstairs, washer and dryer and an outside line. All the equipment you need in the kitchen. A lovely little seating area outside. The host left us some wine, milk and snacks which is a nice touch. There is also an honesty bar which is handy if you wanted some wine but didn't want to walk to the shop. Lovely sea view from the upstairs lounge. Can't fault it which is why this was our third visit.

Great cottage. Great location
Great location. Cottage had everything you needed. Nothing negative to say. Clean and cosy. Will definitely be going again.

Peaceful Penrhyn Cottage
A beautiful cottage which is deceptively spacious, in a idyllic and very peaceful area. The cottage was very well equipped and clearly well looked after. Plenty of room for our family of four and two dogs. Dog friendly with a fairly secure garden (low front wall but does have a small completely secure fenced area too) and spare leads, bowls, etc.
Cemaes Bay is a very quiet area with a beautiful sheltered beach, perfect for paddling, paddle boarding etc. Has everything we needed with a couple of shops, takeaway, chippy etc. The cottage is two minutes walk from the beach and coastal path, with a lovely sea view. Everything you need for a real get away from it all break, would highly recommend.

A week at Penrhyn Cottage
What a fantastic little cottage, perfect location right next to the coastal path and just a few minutes walk to the 2 beaches. The cottage has everything you need and more and the welcome Prosecco, cakes, chocolates, butter and dog treats were such a lovely treat. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable and relaxing, well equipped, lingering dog smell.
One disappointment was the lingering dog smell, we are not dog owners and have stayed in other dog friendly holiday rents without the dog smell. Perhaps the owners should ask if a dog is coming then a more extensive cleaning of the carpets etc. could be undertaken for none dog owners. Would not recommend this for none dog owners.

Brilliant cottage
The cottage has everything you would need, it was clean and fixtures were to a high standard. The location was excellent very close to the beach but in a quiet road.

Great place and location.
Great place to start your walking from in both directions along the costal path, very quiet location but only a short walk to the village centre . Would highly recommend.

Superb
This cottage was the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in, literally thought of everything! Was a very quiet place with beautiful walks from the doorstep. Lovely garden. Could not have asked for more and we will definitely be back, did not want to leave!

Everything you could wish for and more!
Beautiful clean and comfortable cottage close to the beach and right by the coastal path. The owner obviously takes a real pride in making your stay completely relaxing with lots of little thoughtful touches like the chilled prosecco awaiting your arrival.I hope to go back soon and will be recommending to family and friends.Fabulous!

An enjoyable week.
The cottage is ideally located for access to the coastal path and the view from the upstairs lounge is beautiful. The owners have made very good use of space available especially the garden seating area. I can’t think of anything “missing” from the equipment provided, the hot water bottles and blankets were a nice touch. Although the various heating units did seem to have a mind of their own and I think that having a fleece quilt cover in the downstairs bedroom was a mistake.

An absolute pleasure staying there it was spotless beautiful place and location deffo will be staying again

An enjoyable and comfortable stay
We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The cottage is well and thoughtfully equipped and in a good location.. There is a pleasant view of the sea from the sitting room which is located upstairs. The downstairs is very compact and a little dark but we were staying in the autumn I'm sure during the summer months with the doors open it would be lighter and feel airy.. We would book Penrhyn again.

Beautiful cottage and location
I originally was going on my own but my sister and neice joined me. The cottage was perfect it was ideally suited for dog walking and paddle boarding and exploring Anglesey. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again, I would feel very comfortable staying there on my own. It is very well equipped and very cosy and beautifully furnished.

A very well appointed cottage in a wonderful location
We had a lovely 2 week stay in Penrhyn Cottage during August 2020. It is very well appointed with everything we needed. There was a generous welcome pack waiting for us including a voucher for the local butchers in Cemaes, a bottle of wine and other goodies. The cottage was very clean and appropriate precautions to manage Covid risks were in place. We could walk out of the door and be on the Anglesey coast path in a couple of minutes which was great for both long and short walks. It was a short walk down into the village of Cemaes so we had the benefits of the village as well. The scenery in the area is stunning. Would recommend this as a place to stay.

The Perfect Spot for a Relaxing Break!
We loved our break at Penrhyn Cottage. Our small family consisted of 2 adults, our 9 year old daughter and 2 GoldenDoodles!
On arrival we found a wonderful welcome pack of goodies; welsh cakes, bottled water and even a chilled bottle of Prosecco (which went down really well!) and milk etc. There was a money off voucher for the local butchers and tea/coffee/sugar too.
All of this was very unexpected but very welcome!
Everything has been provided in the cottage and the location is just superb. Cemaes village is just a few minutes walk away.
There's a lovely sea view from the upstairs lounge and there are a pair of binoculars for you to use.
This cottage is 'extremely doggy friendly' with a spare walking lead, pet bowls and a little tin of dog treats too!
The nearby coastal path is ideal for doggie walks, it's right on the doorstep!
We can't fault this lovely cottage and hope to return very soon!

Cosy cottage in great location
Penrhyn Cottage is cosy and welcoming and in a great location in Cemaes just yards from the coast path. The cottage had everything we needed - so many useful and thoughtful touches and some lovely local goodies when we arrived. The owner was extremely helpful and responded promptly to any queries - especially in the new circumstances after lockdown. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Sea View Sanctuary at Penrhyn Cottage
Feb 2020. What a wonderful cottage. Beautifully renovated but still nice and quirky. Some nice homely touches. Comfortable, warm and clean. Everything you need right here. Very well equipped. They’ve thought of everything, even crockery EYs for eating outdoors in fair weather. Electric radiators very easy to control to the right temperature for you. Views of the sea from the living room window. Having the telescope and binoculars available is a great idea. Spent ages looking at sea birds and the rolling waves. Very quiet locality. Walks along the coast right from the door. The cottage was lovely and warm to come back to after a long blustery and rainy stroll along the coast and Cemaes Bay. Amenities/ shops / chemist/ chippy walking distance. Only two of us stayed but easy room for four. Beds very comfortable. Extra blankets if you like extra warmth. Would recommend this cottage and come back again.

Everything you need and more
Pleasantly surprised by this lovely cottage which is in a great location in quiet surroundings. The cottage is well furnished, clean, tastefully decorated and cosy. All the appliances worked perfectly and we had a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the red wine and cava, plus the cake and biscuits, very nice touch. We had a very relaxing stay and we hope to return soon.
