About this house rental
This totally renovated house across the street from the beach in Westbrooks West Beach community. This large, 2500 square foot property, located down the beach from Water’s Edge Resort, features 3 story living, all custom decorated, by RLF Home, with the finest new amenities and furnishings.The renovation, complete with new roof, hurricane windows, trek decking, wood and marble floors, all new bathrooms, lighting, kitchen appliances, heating and cooling systems. Enter the first floor living room with 2 club cars, leather loveseat and gas fireplace ,dining room with large table seating for 8, breakfast bar seating for 2, brand new kitchen and appliances, opening up to a large family room with comfy sofa, loveseat and oversized chair opening to large outside trek deck.There is also a lovely powder room as well.The second floor consists of 2 bedrooms, one with twin trundle beds sleeping 4, the other an elegant queen wicker sleigh bed and beautiful bathroom with tub/shower and washer dryer. Outside the bathroom is a bright enclave with desk/stool and mirror perfect for doing online work or simply putting on your makeup. The piece de resistance is the third floor master suite featuring a landing with twin size daybed, an entry room with a chair and a half pull out twin sleeper, and slider to an outdoor ,double walk down deck overlooking Long Island Sound outfitted with lounger and chairs offering sun all day. The elegant bathroom features large walk in shower with teak bench and farmhouse lighting over elegant vanity and heat lamp. Enter the huge master bedroom with king size 4 poster bed, elegant velvet settee, armoire with tv and marble top bedside table. Huge closets with bathrobes and two outside decks make it a perfect space to overlook the Long Island Sound or interior marsh. Perfect space, for a group to spread out and not be on top of each other and enjoy the beach across the street or from the many outdoor areas. The house has 3 bedrooms privacy for 6 adults. One of the second floor bedrooms has twin beds with pull out trundles perfect as a kids room or a couple with 2 kids. Not recommended for 8 adults looking for privacy.The house is half of a 5000 sq ft duplex with full time occupants on the other side. This truly is a must see custom renovation villa. Walk down to center of town for coffee at Julie’s Cup O’Joes, breakfast at Cristy’s or Turtle Cafe and dinner at Cafe Routier. Westbrook is truly a special place for special people. Come and be amazed. Sorry no pets.

Our family absolutely loved our stay in Je t’aime. Plenty of bright, airy space for our family to relax. So close to everything. Super clean and well stocked. Everything we needed and more. Very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views from the balconies. The property manager was very kind and professional. Would love to stay here again, next time we’re in the area. If you love pancakes or corned beef hash, I highly recommend giving Cristy’s a try. It’s so close to the Villa.

We enjoyed the beautiful spacious home for a family vacation. The stairs were tucked away so our toddlers ( there were 3 2 yrs and younger) couldn’t get to them easily while on the main floor. The views were spectacular from the many balconies. Great time had by all.

This was our second time staying at the house and it was just as wonderful as the first! The house impressed us all over again! Our family also enjoyed the quick access to the beach, especially with younger ones in tow! During different points of our stay, someone could be heard saying "when we come back here next time..." Clearly we enjoyed our time at the house! Thank you, Robin!

Very clean, great set up for kids (ages 3-11), beach is two minute walk. Gas grill and first floor deck is a positive, ate outside 90% of the time.

Not a good stay.
The family that owns the property had a loud chaotic party & never told us this was happening. Ruined what I had hoped to be a quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay for my 60th birthday. We had to cancel plans for a dinner party at the rental the night of their party & go out to dinner because of their food truck, beer truck, porta potty, and loud obnoxious generator running. Not to mention all the people coming and going. I was embarrassed because I had touted a lovely, quiet, small intimate dinner for family & friends. Renters have rights too, we should have been made aware of this large party going on when I made the reservation. According to someone I spoke with, they told me they have this party every year! It’s planned far in advance. I’ve had been communicating with the host. Not a word this was happening.
When the porta potty was delivered on Saturday (the day of the party) the delivery guy came to our door, banging it at 8:30 am, they were wondering where the potty goes.
We were peacefully having coffee when we heard the banging. Absolutely ridiculous. I will also be reaching out to VRBO. Hosts need to be reminded guests have rights too, just because we don’t own the property, we paid very good money to stay there.
I can look past a few of the other things with the house but this was beyond.

We enjoyed our stay at the villa and look forward to returning again. The property is very spacious, clean and the views are spectacular. The interior design is amazing. Everyone room is so beautiful!! The hosts are very welcoming and promptly respond to inquiries. We highly recommend this villa.

This home was so beautiful! Decorated to perfection, lots of space for families, and stocked with all the necessities. Excellent view of the water from upstairs. Large spaces for gathering both inside and outside. Our family all agreed this was the best rental we have ever stayed at. Communication with the owner was easy, response time was quick. We highly recommend and hope to be able to come back!

Enjoyed weekend with family to celebrate 100Y/o bday. Wanted space for family dinners and relaxing conversation and board games. This home checked all the boxes. Very neat and clean! Great entertaining space and fully stocked kitchen. Bedrooms comfy. Beautiful views and sunset from multiple balconies. Enjoyed walk on beach and exploring at low tide. Close to BigY for last minute items.

We booked this home for two families of 4, including 4 children ages 2-5 years. We loved the open layout, roomy kitchen, and easy, safe walk to the beach. Hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. It was perfect for our needs and we would stay here again!

This was my family's first time at the house and hopefully it won't be our last! We had an amazing time! The house is absolutely beautiful and honestly, the pictures don't even do it justice. From the decor, to the layout, everything is so thoughtfully planned. We were a family of six and had more than enough space without feeling we were on top of each other. The house itself was very clean and well stocked with anything you may need. There is quick access to the beach, which was wonderful with kids in tow. Before arriving, the hosts were very helpful, answering questions and always available to communicate with. Upon arriving, we appreciated the information the hosts left (contact info, house details, local recommendations, etc). Those small details helped us feel very comfortable and at home. This is most certainly a beach house my family and I would love to visit again!

This is our second visit to this property. The house is beautiful, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners respond immediately if there is an issue. While the beach across the street is not large, during the week we have it almost to ourselves.

My buddies and I were thrilled with this beautiful home. We gathered to celebrate our 60th birthday year and more than 40 years of friendship. The house was wonderfully appointed and a short walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Comfortable beds/bedding and lots of space to gather inside and out. We LOVED our week and look forward to being back there in the future.

Beautiful property!!
The house is absolutely beautiful and well stocked with all the essentials. We were a family of 8 and there was plenty of room for everyone and we didn’t feel we were on top of each other.
We all had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.
I would note that it’s really a 3 bedroom given that the daybed is outside the master suite, and while it would be fine for a teen or small children, it doesn’t really offer privacy for an adult. Other than that one small detail, it was perfect!

Beautiful home!
This house is exactly as pictured. Extremely clean, well laid out, and plenty of space. Other pros: showers have great water pressure, Robin is easy to reach and quick to respond, beach chairs and a wagon are available. The beach situation isn't exactly as I expected but in looking at the listing again, it's my fault for not noticing. The beach just isn't as big as I anticipated, but during low tide it was incredible to be able to walk out to a giant rock island and the low water is the perfect spot for kids to play safely in the water. There were some flying ants on the beach, but they didn't bite. Overall, it was a great stay in a beautiful house and we'd go there again!

The owner was incredibly accommodating as we needed to check in a bit sooner due to an overtired little boy which we so appreciated. The area is lovely and we found it very easy to get around. Wonderful getaway
Some girlfriends and I escaped the city for a weekend and this house was the perfect spot. Immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated, close to the ocean, gorgeous open layout--it was a wonderful spot for a long weekend. We will definitely be back!
