Wanted to explore St. Louis and this place was PERFECT for our two small families. So cozy, close to everything we wanted to do and super welcoming.
4.9
We met our adult son and his family in this perfect place for us. The layout of the rooms gave everyone privacy and we didn’t even hear the cries of the baby. The pack and play and the high chair was partially why we chose it. We also walked to the zoo and felt safe walking the neighborhood after dark and early in the morning. The kitchen was very well stocked. We hope to stay here again.
4.9
We used this home for a graduation weekend visit to St. Louis. The combination of King size bed in the master, and 3 more queens across two other bedrooms gave us flexibility for an evolving group. There were basic amenities in the bathroom and kitchen, a helpful guidebook with neighborhood tips, and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again.
4.9
The location was very close to the zoo. You could walk, but is a hike.
The beds and pillows were the best I've enjoyed at a VRBO.
Overall very clean. The kitchen didn't have left over odds and end from past guest. The kitchen had just what was needed without too much.
4.9
Great dinning room and living room for family activities. Bedrooms are spread out allowing greater privacy. Only one parking spot but street parking is usually available.
4.9
This property was ‘as-advertised’, impeccably clean, comfortable beds, what appear to be all new appliances and plenty of household items to make it an easy stay.
Although ‘Dogtown’ is an older neighborhood ( read about it in the notebook below the TV) , it has a charm. A handful of restaurants and taverns are located within a block or two (try Sugaree’s Bakery on the corner!).
All in all, a very comfortable house and a great location.
4.9
In general, the location is great. Walking distance from bars and restaurants, and even the Zoo! I appreciated that they had a crib and high chair for littles as well. However, it felt like we were staying at a Hostel. We were provided with a rationed number of towels (that were scratchy and thin). Which, we didn't really need anyone because both mornings we stayed there we didn't have hot water. We ended up getting it fixed by afternoon, but it wasn't reliable when we needed to shower in the morning. Additionally, the oven seemed to have issues as it put out excess heat on the stove top and had hot spots inside that set off the fire alarms (faulty wiring it seems).
In general, it worked as a place to stay, but wouldn't be somewhere we would book again.
4.9
Absolutely perfect for our quick 5 day Holiday family gathering! The house was located in an absolute wonderful area with excellent restaurants/bars/stores etc within walking distance! It had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable!
4.9
This property is definitely a place to sleep, mostly clean, but way way overpriced. Ended up more than $500 per might with fees etc.
They won't give you the address until you rent, probably because it's in an old neighborhood where the houses need some TLC. Off street parking for one car only, which left me worrying about the cars on the street. In the end, they were fine.
The first issue with the house was an unpleasant smell upon walking in the door. Tried opening windows (which were dusty), and that helped a little. But it never really went away.
The kitchen floor wasn't cleaned well as my slippers picked up some sticky stuff.
The beds were clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen and supplies. Living room furniture was garage sale quality and uncomfortable. Bathrooms and showers were good.
Patio furniture was dirty and had to be cleaned before we used it.
We made it work, but I would look elsewhere next time.
4.9
I love this house! It's so organized, love all the labels and notes. Great location. Plenty of space. Literally the only problem was these silly curbs on the side of the thin driveway. I saw some scraped cars in the surrounding area and we had to be perfectly aligned to go out! So, be careful or park on the street!
4.9
This property was in a great area, well maintained and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend !
4.9
Great house and location. This is the third year for us to reserve home. Only gave it 4 star this time as the code to enter the home didn’t work. I arrived at 9pm by myself and waited for approximately 30 minutes for a response. Other than than the home and experience was wonderful!
4.9
From communication with the owner/rental company, to fluffy clean white towels, to a super relaxing space, to beds and bedding that were heavenly, to being walking distance from a great restaurant, this VRBO blows the top off of it. (An extra shout out to the young woman who was cleaning when we arrived early; for her kindness and helpfulness in guiding weary travelers.) The only downside of this honest review is that now someone else might book the week we're coming next year…
4.9
We stayed for an extended weekend to attend a wedding. Location was perfect for our needs....easy access to highway 64 and 44. 3 nice bedrooms and plenty of space to play games and eat and relax between events.
As a bonus, each morning I took a short walk that included a walk through the STL zoo before everyone woke up!
I would stay here again.
4.9
This was a great little house in the middle of all we were doing...Zoo, dinner on The Hill, Hoka Festival of Miles race at St. Louis University HS. Floor plan was very good for both privacy in bedrooms and gathering in family/dining room.
4.9
Loved the place for it location, cleanliness, and accommodations.
4.9
Cute neighborhood, and a very short walk to many things we enjoyed while there (coffee shop, restaurants, grocery store). Even if you need to get into a car to get around it is super easy to access main roads, but tucked in the neighborhood so it's fairly quiet with the occasional loud car. We were there the week before St Patrick's Day, but they were already preparing, and it seems like this would be a good home base to experience the holiday. The photos on the listing were good at distorting reality a bit, and it would probably be worth mentioning that the house was built in 1900. The house has character, and is not a new, modern build. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
4.9
Cute three bedroom house in dog county area with easy access to forest park, the hill, and Missouri botanical garden. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen adequately stocked for basic cooking needs for visiting families. Grocery store within a block and a half and local community full of great food options. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.
4.9
This was our first trip to St Louis and it was great! This house was in a great location! Forest Park was very close, the Hill was too and Union station was about 10 minutes. The Dog Town neighborhood where the house is located was great! There is a cool bar, Seamus MacDonald’s, a pizza place, liquor store, a well equipped grocery store, a bakery, just lots places, all walking distance to the house. The house was great, clean and comfortable. The rooms were all good size and even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen was fully equipped. It’s a great house to rent and would sleep 8 adults easily. We had difficulty with the internet and TV (we’re all 60+ and a little challenged😁) so we sent Kristin, the owner a message and she responded with help right away. Thanks Kristin for sharing your house-St Louis is really a cool city, we’ll definitely be back!

This property served all of our needs. We had prompt responses to any/all inquiries and felt like we had all the support we needed.
Thanks again. Jake.

Enjoyed our stay.

Any time we travel we always try to stay at a VRBO and this property was hands down the best experience we've ever had. Management communicated quickly and was only a text away if we needed anything or had any questions. The house was stocked with all the little things that you need and was very convenient - coffee filters, extra toilet paper, Tupperware, cooking dishes, laundry detergents / dishwasher tablets, board games, a floor fan, extra linens and towels, trash bags, etc.
It's located in an old Irish neighborhood and within two block area you have multiple restaurants, bars, bakery, ice cream shop, and grocery store. It also felt very safe and we felt comfortable walking around the area.
If we come back to St. Louis in the future we will definitely be staying at this property again!

This house was perfect for our family of 7. The location was perfect. We walked to local restaurants, coffee shops, the grocery store and the zoo. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again!
4.9
Very convenient to zoo and store, and easy to get on highway too. The place is well equipped and clean

Perfect home base
This cute little house was just perfect for our needs. Great restaurants close by and easy walk to the zoo. A/C worked great as it was much needed! The only thing they could improve upon is a comfier couch and more seating in living room area, as that was the only area with a tv. Would recommend for groups of 4-8.

A Perfect Stay
Our group of six could not have asked for a better experience. Check-in and check-out were seamless, the house was immaculate yet completely comfortable, the central location in the city was perfect for our plans, and the neighborhood itself was a joy to spend time in (big props for the proximity to Fields Foods, Felix's Pizza Pub, Alibi Cookies, and the Zoo). Communication with the host was efficient and friendly. Thank you for sharing this home with us! We'd love to come back someday.

This VRBO is located in well kept neighborhood. The exterior of the place is tidy and the patio area is welcoming. The interior is surprisingly spacious. All 3 bedrooms had large closets and comfy beds. Ceiling fans in all the rooms especially the bedrooms. Bathrooms were well stocked as was the kitchen. Each time we entered the home, a "clean" smell greeted us. It is located near restaurants, bars and a grocery store all within walking distance. I'd recommend this VRBO to all my friends.
