Welcome to the lake! Watch the beautiful sunrise from this adorable lakefront cottage on Forest Lake. Clear, shallow shoreline (normal levels around 2-3 feet at end of dock) make a perfect location for water games by the shore! Enjoy recreational water sports on the lake with your own boat or rent one at Your Boat Club just down the road. Take a leisurely stroll to downtown Forest Lake, where you can find bars and restaurants. Cottage sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 Doubles) and includes 2 bathrooms (1 full, 1 half). Pack ‘n Play available for the little ones. Kitchen and dining area is fully-equipped to enjoy home cooked meals. Sunlit four-season porch includes a sectional sofa for lounging, a flat screen TV, and a table for games and puzzles. Family room includes another sofa, love seat, and flat screen TV. Amenities include two flat screen TVs, AT&T live TV streaming, wifi, air conditioning, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. Plenty of parking available in the driveway. Enjoy outdoor living with a Weber grill on the deck, plenty of patio seating, and a fire pit (perfect for roasting marshmallows by the campfire). No parties/events, no loud music/noise, no smoking/vaping on the property, and no drugs. Please respect our neighbors' privacy and contact us directly with any questions. Spent three days at the lake house and had a great time. the place was very clean and updated nicely!
Really enjoyed being only three blocks from the city of Forest Lake since we walked down there at least three times. Also there is a great coffee shop close by.

This property was just as described, actually better. The space was updated, open with large rooms and kitchen with several seating areas. The 3 season porch was such a bonus overlooking the lake and spacious for all to gather. A fire pit with chopped wood, perfect for s'mores, lots of out door seating and space. Loved it! Meg was great to work with always prompt in messaging.
I thought the book on the entry table with "our story" was nice.
We would definitely recommend this lovely lake home.

Exceptional property
This property is great for children. Clean, clear, sandy bottom lake that is shallow enough for small children all the way to the end of the dock. The host was outstanding and made sure our stay was event free. I highly recommend this property and will stay here again.

Wonderful Lake Place
This lake place was just wonderful. Pictures are accurate, everything very clean. Really well equipped, including for example, those little holders for the ends of corn on the cob, a new tube of antibiotic in the first aid kit, fresh batteries to install in the remote control, and a battery powered drill (and Phillips head attachment!) I needed to make a small repair on our boat And plenty of fresh, clean towels. The lake itself is low this year, so the water on the side and end of the dock is just a little over a foot deep, perfect for small kids!

Comfortable. Found whatever we needed in a clean comfortable family friendly close to town lake place. Everyone enjoyed our weekend. Close to park with fun equipment for children. Lake was shallow enjoyed floaty toys. Kids caught sunnys off dock.

Cozy, clean and well-equipped. Everything as advertised, and more! Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Having plenty of towels, AND beach towels was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable and the lake views can’t be beat. Thank you Robinton family!

Excellent, special, lake vacation choice
We were very impressed with the owners because the property was cute, clean, very well supplied, surprisingly roomy. They cared about their tenants. Great beach, lawn, dock, BBQ, kitchen size and supplies. And cleanliness. I could go on but let me say it is a great choice in a very nice community with boating and park facilities. Easy peasy cabin living.

We came to stay/isolate with our family after not leaving our house for 6 months. With “cottage” in the name, we were surprised at how spacious and comfortable to house was. I think the rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures.
The furniture was very comfortable, including the beds, and the ambiance was very peaceful. Lots of little touches that felt luxurious (Henckles knives, soft towels, pretty furniture).
The lake had a sandy bottom and was quite shallow for a long ways out. Good for young kids to play though my eldest child wished it was deeper for swimming & jumping in off the dock. I thought it was perfect.
We were grateful for the close proximity to the twin cities while experiencing lake life. We had everything we needed and didn’t leave the property at all (Aldi delivered groceries and there were lots of food options on doordash). One thing to note for other families coming with small children who bring lots of things- I do wish we would have had a wagon to bring stuff from the car to the front door.
I would absolutely love to stay at this property again in the future. Thank you so much!

Family get away
We stayed for 5 nights with our grown children and two young granddaughters (3-1/2 and 8 months) and we had more than enough room (9 total with the children). The cabin is so clean and beautifully decorated just how the photos show it. Meg was always quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. The lake shore is perfect for little ones, sandy and fairly shallow for quite a ways out. Our 3-1/2 year old granddaughter didn’t want to leave! I would recommend the cabin for any age group and we would definitely stay again, thanks Meg and family!

Great place!
Our family stayed here for 3 weeks while our place was being renovated - needless to say, we had the time to use just about everything. The bedrooms are comfortable and the living areas spacious. The sunroom was a favorite with my kids, as they could watch TV, play games and still have some space from us. Owners are very responsive with any questions. Can’t go wrong with this place!
