Professionally decorated, freestanding, 4 bedroom/4 bath pristine beach house designed with family and friends in mind. Enjoy the beach and lovely views of nature when you stay in the best of both worlds at West Beach and the Lagoon. This newly built home sleeps 8-10 with 2 on the sleeper sofa and has an open floor plan with the first floor containing a full bath and a sleeper sofa and the upstairs featuring two kings, one queen and two twins. Each bedroom plus the living room has a TV and includes fast fiber network for Wifi and a DVD player in the living room. The cottage comes with a highchair, baby-gate for stairs and pack-n-play as well as a beach cart to wheel all your beach needs easily for your use. The brick paved streets in the quaint community lead to beach access via the city boardwalk and a public pier. Take pleasure in your morning coffee on the front porch while gazing at the sugar white sands and sparkling water of the Gulf of Mexico directly across the street or escape on a morning paddle on your SUPs or your kayak while seeing all the natural beauty of the lagoon. The beach is about a 5 minute walk on front beach street side and a 4 minute walk on the bike trail winding by the lagoon on the back side. Lagoon Pass has pay to park and a public restroom is conveniently located there where you will feel safe playing in the calm, shallow water. Splash with the kids at the private community pool or fish off your kayak if you bring one in the lagoon and then ride just minutes to many local award-winning seafood restaurants, outlet shops, zoo and golf course. For my fellow sports fanatics the sports channels are on the dishnetwork! Dream features a full washer and dryer and kitchen with meal preparation amenities as well as a propane grill. You will have your choice of 12 cup coffee pot or single-serving Keurig machine for your vital morning java. No extra paper products are supplied. Garbage picks up twice a week on Tuesday and Friday. The carport includes an outdoor beach shower and a closet for your beach supplies. This closet includes beach chairs, sand toys, a beach cart and 1 longboard as well as an umbrella and stand. Now close your eyes and imagine the cool gentle gulf breeze, smell of salt water, and peaceful sound of small crashing waves. Why West Beach in Gulf Shores? Relaxing and quiet with little traffic and yet plenty of fun family activities nearby, such as Waterville, OWA amusement park, dolphin tours, the brand-new Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and restaurants. Property just as it looks in pictures. Fit all 10 perfectly loved that they included stuff for my 2 year old to be able to use such as playpen to nap and highchair. Super clean and not long walk to beach.

The pictures of this property were nice but not until you arrive and actually see the location it exceeds expectations. It is the perfect location off of the beach but yet can see the gulf and sit on the porch and watch the waves. The beach house was exactly as described and Misty the host had everything we needed so we didn't have to bring extras. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and allowed us to come back and relax after a day at the beach. The private community pool was an added bonus for the kids who were able to play when the ocean was a little rough. The downstairs storage had all the beach toys and chairs and multiple wagons to take to the beach. The outdoor shower was the best thing so we could wash the sand off before going into the house. Misty was very quick to respond about the checking process and also followed up around checkout time. We plan on making this a yearly rental for us it was a Great Time.

As there were 10 of us, we needed a large place. This cottage has plenty of room and everything needed in the kitchen for cooking. Good location for getting to the beach and shopping. There was a closet full of things for the beach. It was very comfortable and fun for all!

This was a wonderful property to stay in! We were able to accommodate three families and felt like we had plenty of room. The property was clean and stocked with lots of kitchen supplies. We made breakfast every morning and lunch. The beach was close and not a very far walk. They had wagons, towels, etc to take to the beach. It was nice that the property had a pool so after we got back from the beach it was nice to go and swim too. We will definitely stay here again!

We had the most amazing time at Misty’s gorgeous home. Located in a quiet community a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of touristy businesses, we enjoyed the pool area, relaxing on the ocean view deck, and stretched our legs on the short 5 minute walk to the beach. The home is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Misty communicated quickly with us when needed and was very welcoming. We would definitely like to return.

My family and my sister’s family immensely enjoyed our time at the cottage. The listing was exactly as described, if not better. Our kids’ ages range from 21 months to 21 years, and the accommodation was perfect for all of us. We definitely appreciated the baby gear on hand so we didn’t have to haul it from Arkansas, and the amount of beach toys/umbrellas was perfect. The kitchen was fully appointed - we cooked everything from chocolate gravy to ribs while we were here and never lacked a utensil or dish. Plenty of seating, entertainment, and privacy for all of us. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a week and had a great time! We loved having each access to the beach and a close walk to the cottages pool. More than enough space for our family of 4, grandparents and an uncle! Close enough to the restaurants but also far enough away if you are looking for a quieter time during your stay. Will definitely look to book here again!

This condo is perfect for a family vacation. We had family coming from 6 different states for our yearly vacation. This place has plenty of space for us to be able to hang out to talk and play games and also to sleep. Misty was quick to respond to all communication throughout our stay. Only suggestions would be to have some hooks on the outside for hanging wet towels and suits to dry, more seating outside on the deck and maybe some curtains/blinds for the downstairs. Nothing that is a deal breaker and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect. Close walk to beach and public bathrooms between house and beach access as well. House was super clean and updated and fully stocked with everything we needed without feeling cluttered. It was comfortable and homey and just perfect. Misty was also incredible as a host. Misty was the greatest host. The house is decorated so beautifully and is set up so well for 2 families. With 2 master bedrooms upstairs and 2 rooms for kids with adjoining bathrooms, it couldn’t have been a better lay out. The pool was steps away from the home and was so nice. The lagoon access in the back made for beautiful runs, sunset watches, and fishing. The walk to the beach was about 5-7 minutes, which can be a lot with kids and your stuff.. but there’s also parking at the beach access, so we drove daily. I would definitely come back!!!!!!!

This is a great property with plenty of room & extra perks with beach umbrellas on-site, beach chairs, really anything you need. I plan on staying here again. Great pool area, it has its own gas grill. Really a great house. The only draw back is it’s a fairly long walk to the beach, but it’s manageable. You really can’t go wrong with renting this place.

This house is right across from the beach with a 3 min walk. It is in the perfect location near restaurants. The house was beautiful and clean !! Every room also had a bathroom which definitely came in handy. Would definitely recommend!!!

Misty hosts a beautiful property that makes you feel at home. Nice layout with plenty of room to spread out, but also a good flowing space for family meals and game nights. The pool was a great alternative to the windy beach days and still allowed us to soak up the sun. The beach was just a short walk across the street for quick trips (sunrise and sunset) and the path behind the property was great for packing up the wagon and carting all we needed for longer beach stays. We also enjoyed walking along the path in the morning as opposed to the road, much more peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!
