Friendly welcome
Family Room was 2 bedrooms, a huge lounge room and bathroom - plus a lovely undercover patio area available for guests use. Comfy beds and an even comfier lounge.
Peaceful property just out of town
Loved being able to cool off in the pool at night
Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely host, Kay. We were welcomed like old friends.
We attended a wedding nearby and it was the perfect location for that (Kay was even nice enough to drop us off and offer to pick us up after)
So convenient for 2 nights being able to relax
Lovely little personal touches in the rooms.

Stayed 1 night as visiting Crow's Nest next day. Good location not far from centre of Highfields which had several choices of restaurant for evening meal. Studio accommodation was clean and comfortable, with nice large shower and a bath (not used but looked inviting). Continental breakfast provided and cooked breakfast available for reasonable extra. Accommodating host was lovely to chat to, so would stay again if out that way again.
Small area to sit outside of studio but we were told we were welcome to sit on the veranda of the main house and did so for breakfast next morning so that made up for it.

Our host, Kay and Jeff were super friendly. We stayed at Forest Lodge over New Years and Kay kindly picked us up (after midnight) from a location nearby so we didn't need to worry about transport.

Lovey hosts
Lounge seat was a little uncomfortable but it didn’t distract from the lovey home / comfort on everything else.

They were so accommodating and so sweet for having just me in such a massive place (5 beds). Breakky was delicious! Place was so beautifully furnished.

Quiet area on the edge of town.
Bed pretty comfy
Nice big space though for two people.
Pleasant hosts who left us alone.
There were no pens to fill out the breakfast menu and we didn't have one so gave that a miss.
Place was cold, air con not up to warming the large living area.
small shower, not enough towels. Couch older and not that comfortable
4.5
The rural setting, the spacious rooms, the beautiful layout, the comfortable, warm bed. And their hospitality.
Parking was a lovely walk away in good weather, but a little awkward when packing up the car holding on to an umbrella.

Forest Lodge is a beautiful BnB, beautiful spot. Handy to Toowoomba, but with a country feel. Beautiful bed, lovely breakfast.
There was nothing about it that we could possibly complain about.
