A quiet mountain property provided our family just the right getaway. The house is comfortably laid out with all necessary amenities. Enjoyed our trips to Black Mountain and Asheville.

Very nice place to take the family. Close to everything

We visited for our spring break so our kids could climb at nearby Rumbling Bald. The location was terrific as we love going to Chimney Rock, Black Mountain and Asheville, and the cabin was convenient to all. Very clean, comfortable, and loved the amenities like hot tub and pool table for rainy days or after a long day of climbing.

This property was exceptional. One of our favorite vrbo's and we stay at a lot!
The location was great. Tucked in the mountains.
The house was exactly what was advertised. Plenty of space for our family of 6. We loved all the board games that we were!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed all that Ashville has to offer. Hiked at Chiimney Rock, played golf and visted Grove Park Inn. Wonderful accomodations with plenty of size and privacy. The home was also well marked on the road so easy to find. Thanks for a wonderful Christmas!

Peaceful stay with all of the amenities you could ask for. Nice, clean and cozy yet there was plenty of room for all 6 of us to roam around. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to sit outside on the screened in porch with no bugs bothering us. Just a beautiful cabin, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay outside of Asheville and not have to drive too far to get there or to Chimney Rock which was a very enjoyable day for wine tasting and lunch at Burntshirt.

We loved our stay in Black Mountain! The house was nestled in the trees and gorgeous. Lots of room for a family 11 to spread out and have their space. The porch was my favorite- nice rocking chairs. The rooms were great too with comfy beds. We loved the pool table. The grill worked great! S’mores were a nightly affair in the fire pit. There is zero signal for cell phones and very limited/slow wifi but that made unplugging and enjoying the vacation even easier! Chimney Rock/Lake Lure is just 15 min away and Black Mountain is 20 min down. If you are looking to truly unplug and spend time in the beautiful mountains, this is a great house.

We had a great time at this cabin even though it rained most of our stay. It is larger than it looks, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was one of the better stocked kitchens with respect to cookware and small appliances compared to other rentals we have stayed at. The Owner was very responsive and quickly resolved some minor issues we had at the beginning of our stay. Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely return if in the area again.

This was a wonderful place for a family gathering. My family came together to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. It was a wonderful surprise to arrive at the home and have a birthday cake waiting for her. I just happened to mention the purpose of our trip in my reservation and the owner/property manager provided this as a very special personal touch (in addition to a beautiful bowl of fruit).
The home was great for our family. It was large enough to offer space for us to spread out. The was an abundance of beds, dishes, towels, blankets, etc. such that we never felt like we were in short supply. The main room provided a great place for us to gather for games and conversation each night. The amenities (esp the pool table and hot tub) were great entertainment for the young and young at heart. The location offered easy access to Asheville, Black Mountain, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock. We went on an outing every day -- rented a pontoon boat and had a day at the beach at Lake Lure, tubed down the Green River, enjoyed the soda shop at Woolworth's and the pinball museum in downtown Asheville, experienced lots of cool animals at the Western NC Nature Center. This is just a taste of what is available in the area for multigenerational families.
I will add that the owner was very responsive when I asked a few questions in advance of our trip. She called upon our arrival to make sure everything went well. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the property for Easter weekend with the goal of attending the sunrise service at Chimney Rock. The house was perfect for grandparents and two families with little ones. There was a high chair, pack n play, and overall light sockets were hidden from view and little fingers. The home is close enough to town, but also felt secluded. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table, and the fireplaces. My niece has already declared we need to come back every year!

This cabin was huge! There were only 2 of us there for most of our stay, but this place could easily host multiple families!! Very well stocked with everything we could need. We really enjoyed the porch. Only thing was the wifi didn’t really work but that made it nice to disconnect from the world for a few days! We would definitely stay again!

My family and I just stayed in this beautiful cabin. We had a fun and relaxing time. Loved sitting on the back porch just sitting and enjoying the view and hearing the creek. Listening to the birds chip…just so relaxing. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. The host provided a huge variety of games and went above and beyond for us even providing snack and fruit. Loved the wood burning fireplace too. My son and daughter in law loves the hot tub! We all enjoyed playing a few games of pool. My other son is a reader and enjoyed the little den downstairs - a great place to read.. This place was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin with unique features. Cozy and comfortable while the weather was quite chilly.
All our needs were met during our stay and the owner and manager were very accommodating when we had questions and making sure we were happy!

It was our first time in a cabin! We loved it ! Thank you so much ! we were welcomed with fresh fruits, snacks , coffee. Very welcoming host .

This property is a wonderful "needle in the haystack" and did not disappoint. I was looking specifically for a mountain house with a wood-burning fireplace *and* a hot tub -- a rare combination! Rebecca is a reasponsive and welcoming host -- from the lovely fruit basket and snacks that greeted us, to the well-apponted kitchen and bedrooms, to her quick responses to our questions about the house and surrounding area. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures (and it doesn't look small), and we enjoyed the huge screen porch with the sunrise view. Basement game room was a lot of fun -- playing pool while watching the World Series! Be prepared for about 20-25 minutes of curvy roads to get to Black Mountain or Chminey Rock/Lake Lure -- but it's worth the effort. Quiet, peaceful. comfortable place to unwind -- we would definitely stay here again.

The house is very large and accommodating of a family much larger than ours. The arrival gift of fruit and snacks was awesome, and enjoyed by all. Beautiful country with hikes great for the older folks as well as the toddler. Games, including a pool table were enjoyed by all as was the hot tub. I highly recommend this VRBO!

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, slept a lot of people comfortably with plenty of linens, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! Would stay here again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we LOVE this place! The accommodations are perfect for a large or small group (we’ve been with both). It’s big enough for 15 people but cozy enough for 2. The location is great for us because we have friends in Black Mountain, Old Fort, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure and this cabin is a short drive to all of them. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family booked the cabin for the weekend to attend the Fair in Fletcher. When we arrived, fresh fruit was on the table waiting on our arrival. Check in process was super easy. The owner called us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was ok and let us know if we needed anything at all to give them a call. The cabin was very clean and spacious. We had 4 adults, a 5 year old and an infant with plenty of space for more people if needed. The hot tub was very nice after walking the fair all day. We will definitely be booking this cabin again.

The driveway was steep. The house was great. The whole family really enjoyed the house. We had 12 people and had plenty of room.

Perfect cabin
We decided to change up our normal vacation to Vermont and choose something closer to home for complete relaxation this year. This cabin is perfect! It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you would need. The porch is huge and it’s shaded so no matter how hot it is, it’s enjoyable to sit outside. Our kids loved running around and playing games in the basement. There are plenty of beds and space for everyone. I was also happy to see a high chair and pack n play upstairs which is a huge help for little ones! We were also left some snacks when we arrived which was such a nice surprise after a day of driving and hungry kids. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to anything you need. My son accidentally broke a candle holder and she was more than understanding and kind about it. We tried not to leave the cabin too much but we did really enjoy the beach at Lake Lure.

inches of snow. Our house was very gracious and worked with us. We recommend this cabin very strongly.

This cabin was just as described, and accommodated our group of 8 perfectly! There was every single kitchen/cooking/baking item you can imagine...Even a turkey roaster which was ideal since we were there for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the porches tremendously, admiring the beautiful mountain woods. Very clean, as others have described; comfy beds in spacious bedrooms, and super friendly and communicative hosts. We had a blast playing (badly) at pool, enjoying the hot tub, and gathering at the wood-burning fireplace. If you are looking for a quiet place to decompress or to take a little break from life's chaos, you will not be disappointed with this cabin.
