Excellent property for 1-2 persons in Spello - charming and central

La Corta di Spello was an excellent choice - I could not have been happier. The property has 3 rooms and I stayed in Rosamarino, the 2nd floor. The property is in the center, few steps out the door and there are restaurants and bars/cafe). It is convenient to everything, very well kept, cleaned/maintained, Fabio was super responsive (I informed the cleaning lady about the slow drain and a few hours later, Fabio showed up to fix it), Cleaning is scheduled daily but I did not need it but the cleaning lady checked to see if I needed anything. The mini apartment is cute, well maintained with guest needs kept in mind. Enough space for 2 pax. There is a washing machine and I loved the skylight in the bathroom. The apartment has good natural light, fan in the kitchen and AC in the bedroom. There are are lovely rooftop views from the kitchen and bedroom.

Not that I didn't like but just a heads up to manage expectations: 1) this room is on the 2nd/3rd floor so bear in mind luggage up the stairs 2) i had to get used to the front and apartment door key locks. 3) church bells ringing at certain times (on the hour) daily 4) can be loud when neighbors are walking and talking nearby Be forewarned, when I arrived at the Spello train station, I did not see a taxi in sight....so you may need to walk from the station to the property...Easy and not a bad walk into the historic center depending on how much luggage you have.

Very nice accommodation, nice stay :)

The accommodation was very nice, near to the center and just like we expected :) The room was big and the bed was comfortable. You can also make a coffee in the room and some little snack is prepared for you. We stayed only one night but we enjoyed the stay :)

The only small issue was with the check in. We were waiting outside and nobody came on agreed time, so we asked the cleaning lady (it seemed she didn't have any instructions that we should come at that time), but she gave us the keys and we needed to confirm by phone that the room is correct. Anyway, everything was solved quickly, so no big deal :)

Definitely recommended!

This was such a great small room in the perfect location to explore Spello on foot. Fabio and his brother Mirco were the perfect hosts. So warm and accommodating.

A darker curtain or shutters could be installed on the window over the bed. It got very bright, very early!

Centrally located in a quite area.

The apartment was centrally located but still in quiet area. Instructions by the owner were clear to follow.

Exceptional

Check in could be improved. It was only by pure luck the the waitress at the restaurant i had lunch in, told me that the owner of the restaurant had the key for the apartment. There is no sign on the door of the apartment saying so. Otherwise all good and Marco's restaurant is great. He even made risotto for me even though it is not on the menu
