This spacious "Lloyd's Lodge" offers it all; close proximity to Fripp Island beaches, award winning Ocean Creek golf course, restaurants, tennis courts, wonderful views and a peaceful and serene resort with manicured grounds and community pools. It is perfect for larger families looking to escape the busy day to day tasks and enjoy a few rounds of golf, and large sandy beaches to unwind.

The large screened in back porch is perfect for morning coffee and after dinner drinks while you marvel at all the natural beauty and wildlife of Fripp Island. our stay was very nice !!! As far as the property the house could use a deep cleaning and a cabinet or shelf could definitely be added to the kitchen to have somewhere to put groceries. But over it was great !!!

Property was just as described in the listing. “Loyd’s Lodge” is a little older home but still has lots of charm. The golf decor was really a nice touch. The whole place was very clean from top to bottom. Only thing I would recommend is a bigger grill. There were 2 grills on site 1 was rusted through and the other was pretty much brand new but it was tiny and not a good fit for a home that sleeps 10. A/C was a 10/10 and keep the home cool even on a hot costal week. Very quiet on the back side of Davis Love drive. If you are looking for a nice quite Fripp Island stay i would highly encourage this property with its screened in back porch and watch the deer and gators come out in the morning and evenings. Super cool experience.

I Loved Fripp Island, It’s a Beautiful Island.
Everyone was Nice, and it was peaceful there, no loud music or cars! To me this is what a Vacation should be! I took Teenagers Never once worried about anyone’s safety this place is safe!

My family booked this property last minute for an Easter getaway, and thoroughly enjoyed the house! The location is great, and the lot is very spacious which provides a very serene experience, with beautiful views of the lagoon and golf course out back. The house itself is full of character, and very cozy, which is what I prefer when I’m staying on Fripp. The property management team was very responsive as well. I would absolutely book this property again!

This has a nice private location and yard. I appreciate the owners allowing my Golden Doodle stay during my family trip. The appliances are a bit old but they worked well. Look by the sink for all the washer and dishwasher supplies.

We were very comfortable in this home and our teenagers enjoyed everything that Fripp Island offers. The pools are great and the beaches with all of the access points make it easy to enjoy.
The Fripp Island management team were so helpful and friendly.

This was our first time at Fripp Island and we loved it! The house was very large and suited our family of 5 plus the kids' friends perfectly. I love the master suite upstairs- our own private area. Plenty of bathrooms for lots of teenagers. My one suggestion is to please update your appliances.

Wonderful vacation home
Beautifully decorated home with a full kitchen. Lots of room to spread out. Nice big screened porch with chairs, rockers, small tables and ceiling fans! Easily sleeps 8 but could sleep 10 if you put two in a double bed.
You do need to purchase amenity cards for those age 13 and over if you all want to go to a pool together or play tennis together, etc.
Beaches are easy access and are beautiful white sand beaches with few shells.
Fripp is a wonderful family vacation spot although young, underage kids can be a nuisance at night drinking and carousing in golf carts. I’m hoping security will nip that problem in the bud soon and restore the island to a quiet and peaceful resort.
We’ve been to Fripp many times and love it! We will be back!!

Adequate accommodations, not great but not terrible either
Overall the stay was nice but I would have liked for it to be obvious (instead of a footnote) prior to booking that the amenities are not included with this rental, they have to be purchased separately.
Future renters should be aware because this house is on a golf course - there could be damage to your vehicle! Don't let the golf cart trail, line of trees & creek between the golf course and the house make you think you're safe from poor players, my daughters car was hit & dented by 2 golf balls
Post booking - Communication was good although fewer emails with more content in each would be preferable
Good things about this house:
The air conditioning works great

big back porch with lots of seating
comfortable beds, couch & chairs
plenty of towels supplied
plenty of kitchen supplies (dishes, flatware, etc)
Every bedroom has it's own bathroom
Things that could be improved:
No powder room on main floor so you have to go through someone's bedroom to use a main floor bathroom or go to the Jack & Jill bathroom on the 2nd floor
The cookware is warped and doesn't sit flat on stove causing the food to burn in spots - I saw a previous review that mentioned this & there was a response that said it was taken care of but it obviously wasn't.
The carousel in the microwave doesn't turn, looks like the plastic ring under it is melted, also causes food to burn in spots.
2 of the showers had great water pressure but the 3rd shower is just a trickle (we did not run them at the same time).
Back porch needs to be cleaned, it had pollen and dirt on all of the railings and someone's half smoked cigar was still there.
Somehow a racoon was able to get into the closed garbage can
The online photos of the house should be updated as there have been a few changes since they were taken
The appliances are old & decor is very outdated

Pretty Good and Spacious
We enjoyed out stay at Fripp. The house is in a good location and had plenty of room. The house was clean and bedding good. The kitchen was not up to par. The pot and pans are old and dinged up to the point of not wanting to use. We found several dirty utensils and drinking glasses.
Other than old appliances and dirty kitchen wares, the house was nice and spacious. The porches were also nice with lots of room on the screened in porch.
We enjoyed out stay.

Barry was excellent! however homeowner need to address:
1-property in dire need of TLC
a-top of deck at screen porch entry is rotten/deckboards
are soft and need replacement. In fact entire stair entrance
is in poor shape.
b-light bulbs burned out thru out house.....lamps damaged or
not operating
c-micro wave falling apart/tray does not rotate
d-kitchen utensils are lacking in variety and availability
e-No working outdoor lighting around house....maybe an
HOA thing but with the amount of racoon activity
some lighting would be appreciated
f-racoons an issue as they broke thru the screen doors to
rummage thru the screen porch. It is apparent that
people feed them which is beyond stupid, so the screen
doors need to be beefed up a bit.
g-grounds could use some upkeep or updating.

Over all a decent property but needs some serious upkeep if for
nothing else but safety issues. Would like to recommend but these issues would keep us from renting this property again unless rectified.

Checkin and getting on the Island was tricky with many family coming from different places but manager was very responsive and quick. Outdoor space needs a little sprucing up to enjoy the outdoors.

Spectacular Week.
We had such a beautiful week staying at “ Lloyds Lodge”
My daughter got married this week and our family enjoyed the accommodations at Lloyd’s Lodge. It was clean and a great layout for a large family. We will be returning !!

Hire an exterminator
Too many roaches to count. Kitchen utensils and pots and pans poor. Exposed wires. Smoke detector not in place .House in need of repairs.

Spacious House
The house was very spacious and was nicely decorated. The front of the house sits alongside a golf course so you are able to see golfers and find errant golf balls in the yard. The big screened-in porch is very nice. You can sit in the rockers and view deer wandering in the yard. A golf cart was available to drive around to see the island. Everyone you meet is very friendly. Nice secluded beaches too.
Being that the home is on a private island, there were some stores and shops that required a membership pass so it was not very friendly to renters. The closest stores were 30 minutes away which is not that bad as it gives you a chance to see other areas in Beaufort. This is a perfect place for golfers and those who like the isolation from large crowds.

They responded quickly to calls; made sure everything was in order; stocked our supply of towels and cleaning supplies; and even touched base with us about precautions when a tropical storm rolled by. They were gracious to hear about small problems with the property and took steps to remedy them and others. They're a great team and we were glad to work with them.

Lovely home in a quiet Fripp Island resort neighborhood.
Our visit to this home was lovely. It is conveniently located near Island activities, the yard was filled with local birds including ten Wood Storks roosting in a tree. The rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen functional and the screened in porch a delight in the early morning and evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall , great time ! We needed know a club pass would be needed to enjoy the restaurants and amenities . If we were to return , that would be a must and also a golf cart .
